Metadata Auto fill edit

I have created some "custom" metadata sets using some user created fields. However I have previously made a spelling error (in a long entry!) and although I seem to have deleted all incorrectly spelt metadata from my images I really would like to delete the incorrect spelling from the autofill library, wherever that is.
I have searched the edit IPTC autofill from the meta data drop down menu and cannot find it - only the "non custom" fields are listed.
Any help greatly appretiated!
Steven

Ok, half way there. I downloaded an app called Pref Setter to edit the preferences by deleting the array strings that I no longer needed.
Also you can adjust the hierarchy of the auto completion data. I found that helpful with the copyright field since they all start off the same.
Need to still find a way to have the data automatically entered from a default setting, with out having to start typing.

  • Date Created Metadata Auto Fill

Is it possible to have Aperture auto fill in the Date Created field? I've searched the help files and online posts, but don't see a way to do it.
Apparently Bridge does not read the "Image Date" IPTC field from Aperture as "Date created" so I need to update about 6,000 images and am weary to do this by hand!
    Thanks a lot,

  • Editing Auto-Fill on Yosemite

I have furiously tried to edit my auto-fill info on my MBP and even followed step-by-step instructions on websites but still no luck . As you can see in the pic, I am trying to delete the Marlon Anthony Ramirez contact which is the one that the Auto-Fill chooses to fill in  when I choose the option. The other "Marlon Ramirez" has all my correct info such as email, phone # and address but it will not let me choose that as the auto-fill info. Can anyone shed some light on this. Thanks

See if this helps you rid of that one form fill entry. <br />

You can highlight that entry in the drop down list and press the Delete key to remove it.<br />

  • Auto Fill Shipping Address from Billing Address on a New Form in SharePoint 2013

I have a new form on SharePoint that has a few fields:
Billing Address 1 (Single Line of Text)
Billing Address 2 (Single Line of Text)
Billing Address City (Single Line of Text)
Billing Address State (Drop Down Menu)
Billing Address Zip (Single Line of Text)
Shipping Address is the Same (Yes/No Check Box)
Shipping Address 1 (Single Line of Text)
Shipping Address 2 (Single Line of Text)
Shipping Address City (Single Line of Text)
Shipping Address State (Drop Down Menu)
Shipping Address Zip (Single Line of Text)
The object is that a user would fill in the Billing Address Fields, then click the "Shipping Address is the Same" check box and the Shipping Address Fields would auto fill with the Billing Address Fields.
I've tried using a CEWP and editing the form file in SharePoint Designer 2013. I just don't know how to make this Dynamic auto fill work! Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

    Use a custom web part
Design the form controls and in "Shipping Address is the Same" check box check event or button click,
copy the same data into a label form contains the same fields but in form of labels instead of textbox and dropdownlist.
try this solution and let me know.

  • Auto-fill Existing PDF files?

I have been given some standard shipping forms in an editable PDF format. Instead of spending 200 hours recreating reports in Report Builder that are the exact same thing, I was hoping Oracle Reports (or Forms) could just "send" the data to the PDFs (like passing in parameters) which would auto-fill the existing editable PDFs.
We DO have Acrobat 8 Professional --- so if there is a way to change the properties of a report to accept these "parameters" (aka "passed in data"), then we can do that. The person who has Acrobat on her computer is out of the office for the next week. So I can't go look on her computer and play with it. :(
We have the 6i development tools on a 9i db.

I dont think this is possible in reports.
However there are third parties who perform this. Search in google.

  • Need help with Safari auto fill.

    Auto fill problems.
    1. It's spotty in its application. On some pages it works fine and fills in all fields with one click. On others it says "can't complete form", but then as I begin typing each field, it gives me fill in options. Why can't it just fill them in from the start?
    2. My name and phone number fields have bad values that it tries to fill in. I keep entering the right stuff on new forms, but it never seems to "learn" them. How can I find and remove or overwrite the bad values, without deleting all the other fields it has learned properly (do not want total reset)? I think it is getting the last name first version of my name from address book where I have that option set, but I don't want that in my web fill ins.
    3. Is there a master auto fill template somewhere with field names and values I can edit? Or does it collect this for every different URL I ever fill in, and so there is no way to set values I want used in all web pages?

    HI,
From your Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Autofill tab. Click the Edit button next to *Other Forms*. Remove all.
And under the Autofill tab, make sure: *User names and passwords* and *Using info from my Address Book card* are both selected.
If you have problems logging into a site...
Quit Safari (Command + Q) Now open Keychain Access (Applications/Utilities) Select Passwords on the left. Delete any keychains for sites you have problems logging into.
Now relaunch Safari. Login to a site with your user name and password as you normally would, then click Yes when prompted. That will create a new keychain for you.
Keychain Access stores your passwords securely.
Or does it collect this for every different URL I ever fill in,
Correct. But only if you have *user names and passwords* and *Using info from my Address Book card* selected in Safari / Preferences - Autofill.
Another suggestion when having problems using a website, is to delete the cookies. Go to Safari / Preferences / Security. Click *Show Cookies*. Delete the url's for that site then relaunch Safari.

  • Safari auto-fill problem

Hi all.. Since the second last firmware update of my Touch 2nd gen, Safari normally auto-fills website's login forms (thus settings should be okay) except for.. wlan login forms! Therefore, every time I have to manually write down username and password in order to gain network access.. I don't know whether it is a known issue or even a strange "wanted" feature..in any case, there's a way to overcome this annoying problem? Thank you in advance.

I have asked a similar question several times before, and I have the answers varied from the typical I do not have that problem to its a security feature incorporated in Safari.
I tend to think it is a new feature added ito safari n the last several months (via an update).
The bottom line is I am NO longer able to stay logged into various websites if I quit safari, even though the websites have the feature available that should allow a user to stay logged in for 2 weeks.
The only way I can now stay logged in for an extended period of time is to NEVER quit Safari.
That is not an option for me.

  • Safari Auto Fill Issue - Same domain with multiple logins

    Hello Group,
I am working with Safari's Auto Fill feature for user names and passwords on website pages that I log into and it is not doing what I would like it to do. For some reason I am unable to save more than one login per domain and is not seeing the entire url path. If save my user name and password for say this url path of ************* it will save the user name and password but when you look in safari->preferences->autofill, its only showing the top level of the domain and not the entire path.
And if there is a different page on the site located at a completely different url path such as *********** that I need to log into and I try to save a user name and password for this different url path, it asks me if i want to update the current user name and password, and I don't want to do that, I want to save a new different user name and password for this second login screen.
Is there anyway to get this to see the entire url and remember separate logins for each different page on the same domain? Thanks.
    Doug
    <Edited by Host, URL's removed>

To the moderator. Thank you for approving my post, but how am I suppose to show what I am talking about if you go and remove the url examples I put in my post? The links were not bad, spam or etc, they were just examples paths I made up.

  • Auto-fill/password data deleted following Safari crash

So, I've been having a seriously large amount of problems with Safari crashing over the past few months. Usually it just shows the spinning wheel of death, sometimes it just automatically reloads every page/tab I have open (if anyone can suggest a fix for that it would be great).
However, this time it crashed and it appears to have completely wiped out all of my auto-fill/password data that I had saved. As this is a personal computer and nobody else uses it, I had a lot of passwords saved into it (most of them for low security risk sites). As everybody knows, a user often has hundreds of usernames/paswords for a huge number of websites. I can't remember them!
I'm concluding that as they've all been deleted, I'm going to have to go through the arduous process of clicking the 'forgotten username/password' to retrieve these details; however, now whenever I try to save back in the auto-fill, it's not really working too well and just isn't saving it, despite me choosing for auto-fill to be operational on the website.
Any help would be massively appreciated to sort this, as having to keep entering my usernames/passwords - urgh, let's just say this is the biggest first world problem since before bread was sliced!!
    Safari version 5.1.10
    Mac OS X Version 10.6.8

Passwords are stored in Keychain Access located in Applications > Utlities
Launch Keychain Access then select Passwords on the left.
Type in the name of a website you've visited that autofilled the password.
Then double click the website name the select the Attributes tab then click: Show password
You may be prompted for your admin password to proceed.
If you want a website to re remember the password, right or control click the website name in Keychain Access the click Delete.
The next time you login to that site and enter your password you should be prompted to save that data to a new keychain.

  • Safari 3 auto-fill different behavior?

It seems that in earlier versions when I went to a password login page that was stored in auto-fill, the number would automatically fill in when loading the page. Now it seems that I need to at least enter the first character into the login field and then a little drop-down appears allowing me to choose it, even if there is only one choice. Then the password automatically gets filled in. This is annoying to me as I don't always remember the login I've used. Can someone confirm that this change has happened or am I doing something wrong?

For whatever reason it appears the password field you are interested in is being treated as a choice field instead of a password field. Although the behavior for password fields has not changed (I think) the behavior for choice fields HAS changed.
It used to be that your last choice used was pre-filled into the choice field when you went to the page, and before you typed ANYTHING into that field. Also if you started typing, choices that matched what you had typed so far used to show up in most recently used order with the field autofilled to the one most recently used that matched what you have typed so far.
The behavior now, apparently, is that the choice field is NOT pre-filled (if you have typed more than one choice into that field before, and if you start typing the list shows items matching what you have typed so far in sorted order instead of most recently used order -- which makes it less likely that the one on the top of the list is the one you want.
You can edit the Autofill records in Safari for any given web page to make it forget about previous choices, and then the next time you type in the value for a field on that page it will be recorded as your only choice (so far). But that's kind of crufty.

  • Auto-filled fields linked to other selectable fields

I would like to create a set of numeric fields that auto-fills with default (but user-editable) values, with the selection of a radio button. I would like to be able to create a different set of values for different buttons, all pointing to the same set of numeric fields.
Does anyone know if this can be done?
    Thanks,

    Hi  carphuntin_god,
According to your description, my understanding  is that when you click a hyperlink which redirect to other files , the file are opened very slowly via excel client.
How about you download the same file and open it using excel client? If it is opened quite fast, the issue should be caused by some third-party add-ins in the office program or antivirus soft.
Here is a similar thread you can have a look:

If you want to open the files using excel service after click the link in the excel file, you can create the hyperlink in the following way:
    General Syntax:
    http://<server_name>/<site_name>/_layouts/ xlviewer.aspx?id=<workbook path>&range=<location>
    For example:

If you want to open the files using Office Web Apps after click  the link in the excel file,  you can create the hyperlink in the following way:
    http://<server name> / <site name> / <library name>/<your file name> ?web=1

  • Form is auto filling fields

I have come across pdf applications online that let you fill them out right there and submit them which is awesome but I have come across a few that auto fill all of the boxes in the section. Mainly when it wants previous employers, I will enter my current employer and it will put that info into all of the other previous employer fields. When I go to one of the other previous employer fields and change it to the correct info it changes all of the others to that information... I am very confused about what is going on and can't send in these apps because it shows that all precious employers are the same one...  Any help?  Thank you in advance

This means that the form was not created correctly and all of those field names are the same. If you're able to edit the form in Acrobat, you can correct it by giving each field a unique name. If that's not possible, try to get the form corrected by whoever supplied you the form.
