Method execute from the Guided Procedure

Hi All:
I have a web dynpro application that has a view Evaluation and this one has a embed view from another component. I´m using guided procedures and setting in the execute method a parameter that is linked to the embed view.
The problem is that in the  view Evaluation, when calls DoInit() I´m sending these parameter to the embed view but I´m not getting any value at that moment. These means that the execute method occurs after the DoInit().
Someone knows in what sequence the methods are call, execute and Doinit(). Where can I set the parameter for the embed view so the execute method had been already call and the parameter set before it call the DoInit method.?
Thanks, regards

Hi
I have two components component A with wiewA and component B with ViewB. The view B is embed in view A.
The view A has the call to the GP. I import the view B and I bind the interface from that componentB with the component Controller of the component A and this one to the view A.
and the view is linked to the Inerface Controller where is the execute method.
In the wdDoinit of the view A I´m setting the context values of the parameters I want to send to the view B. And in the wdDoInit of the view B, I´m calling a method that fills a table according to the parameter.
Thanks for the help

  • Default email subject for Adobe Form from Netweaver Guided Procedure

    Hi everyone.
    When we generate an Adobe form from a Netweaver Guided Procedure, a default subject of "Interactive Form {xxxxxxxx}" is used where xxxxxxxx is the Process ID of the Guided Procedure.  Is this default subject configurable?  Where can I change it?
    If we define a custom email template for the form,  the subject of the email becomes our custom subject concatenated with the Process ID.  Where is it defined that the Process ID must be included in the email subject?
    Thanks,
    .. Craig

    Hello,
    I have no experience regarding the table of pictures, but you could try a workaround if you don´t insist of displaying the images. You could attach the pictures as attachments (you know, the little attachments icon on the left in your Reader). The ABAP coding for this can be found in SE38 FP_* and when you check the descriptions you should be able to find the one working with the attachments.
    Would be better than nothing I guess,

  • I can't change channels by typing in a number or selecting it from the guide

    Good morning,
    Yesterday we noticed that we are no longer able to change the TV channels by typing in the numbers or selecting a channel from the guide. When we attempt to change a channel one of these ways, it acts like the channel is about to change but then it just stays on the channel we are already on. The only way we can change the channel is by hitting the up or down button. Did we accidentally change a setting or is their something wrong with the box. Help...Please!!!
    Thanks,
    Steph

  • The method clone() from the type Object is not visible

    Hi,
    This is my 1st post here for a few years, i have just returned to java.
    I am working through a java gaming book, and the "The method clone() from the type Object is not visible" appears, preventing the program from running. I understand "clone" as making a new copy of an object, allowing multiple different copies to be made.
    The error occurs here
    public Object clone() {
            // use reflection to create the correct subclass
            Constructor constructor = getClass().getConstructors()[0];
            try {
                return constructor.newInstance(new Object[] {

    Lance28 wrote:
    Any advice? Is it "protected"? Is the code out-of-date?Welcome to the wonderful world of Cloneable. In answer to your first question: Object's clone() method is protected.
    A quote from Josh Bloch's "Effective Java" (Item 10):
    "A class that implements Cloneable is expected to provide a properly functioning public clone() method. It is not, in general, possible to do so unless +all+ of the class's superclasses provide a well-behaved clone implementation, whether public or protected."
    One way to check that would be to see if super.clone() works. Their method uses reflection to try and construct a valid Creature, but it relies on Animation's clone() method, which itself may be faulty. Bloch suggests the following pattern:public Object clone() throws CloneNotSupportedException {
       ThisClass copy = (ThisClass) super.clone();
       // do any additional initialization required...
       return copy
    if that doesn't work, you +may+ be out of luck.
    Another thing to note is that Object's clone() method returns a +shallow+ copy of the original object. If it contains any data structures (eg, Collections or arrays) that point to other objects, you may find that your cloned object is now sharing those with the original.
    Good luck.

  • Can I use SubPanels to display and run multiple executables from the same GUI?

    I have two Labview executables that performs some A/D I/O, each using an independent USB-6008.  I would like to run both of these executables from a single UI.  Is this possible usin SubPanels?  Or some other method?
    I found KB regarding exe's and VI Server but can't seem to get the suggested workarounds implemented.

    No, of course I am not sure yet.  I have only begun testing this method.
    Not sharing common hardware (separate USM-6008s).
    Here is the whole picture:
    I have developed a top-level VI that performs Daqmx IO using a single USB-6008.  The top-level VI references a Project Daqmx Task that points to the desired 6008.  I would like to create a single UI that uses this top-level VI to control twoUSB-6008s simultaneously.  I thought I could build the top-level VI into 2 separate exes, where the only difference between the exes is the hardware it points to (one exe to each of the 6008s).  But I have been unsuccessful at running these two exes within a single UI.  I attempted use subpanels on a tab control to do this but I am unable to obtain a reference to the top-level vis once they have been built into an exe.  I have also tried building a dll and exporting the top-level vi from the dll build but i can't seem to get that to work either.  In both of these cases my Open VI reference function returns errors (Error 1445).  I am aware of the changes in referencing VIs from within an exe/dll since LV8.2 - http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/8545726A00272EB0862571DA005B896C
    The link seems to suggest that I should be able to obtain a reference to the top-level vi within the dll but I can't get it to work.
    So I then moved on to the above method (making all the subvis reentrant).  I just haven't figured this all out yet.
    If you have suggestions on other problems I may run into please share.  I think I can eliminate my FGs but haven't gotten back to this yet.
    Thanks

    When I am designing apps of the type you described I have kept the ned goal in mind from the begining since of the issue you are mentioning. I also don't want to tell you to throw it all away and start over. So with that in mind I have been looking at your posts and only offering the least destrutive ideas first. With that in mind I would like to invite yo uto look at the code i posted in this thread (reply #18 has a zip).
    That code shows how to realize un-dockable GUI regions but it passes the ref of the top level VI to a reentrant VI it instanciate for each undockable region. It may have enough hints and technique to give you some ideas that will work for you.

  • Runtime Exception occured while test the Guided Procedure Webservice

    Hello All,
    As per my scenario, i have to get the process status in guided procedure by using the java application thro default guided procedure web service. Before starting, i have test the web service by the web service navigator. I took default web service as GPRuntimeFacadeWS in the list. I have selected this web service and method GetProcessResult, gave the input parameters for ProcessInstanceGUID after that i am getting the result like "com.sap.caf.eu.gp.model.gpws.exception.ProcessRuntimeException". Before testing i have created one process in GP. I am not able to see the result of the web service. This is exception occured while iam working in the EP7.0 SP17. Eventhough iam working in EP7.0 SP13 also had i got  the same exception like "test.ProcessRuntimeException".
    Please help me for this.
    Thanks

    Hi Salvatore,
    This is a very wide error. You did not provided any other info as specified by Michael. Just a wild guess, this sort of error occurs generally when classpath or java_home properties are not set correctly. But, as i said it is very wide, some more info will be useful.

  • How to get an UPDATABLE REF CURSOR from the STORED PROCEDURE

    using C# with
    ORACLE OLE DB version: 9.0.0.1
    ADO version: 2.7
    I returns a REF CURSOR from a stored procedure seems like:
    type TCursor is ref cursor;
    procedure test_out_cursor(p_Dummy in varchar, p_Cur out TCursor) is
    begin
         open p_Cur for select * from DUAL;
    end;
    I create an ADO Command object and set
    cmd.Properties["IRowsetChange"].Value = true;
    cmd.Properties["Updatability"].Value = 7;
    cmd.Properties["PLSQLRSet"].Value = 1;
    cmd.CommandText = "{CALL OXSYS.TEST.TEST_OUT_CURSOR(?)}";
    and I use a Recordset object to open it:
    rs.Open(cmd, Missing.Value,
    ADODB.CursorTypeEnum.adOpenStatic,
    ADODB.LockTypeEnum.adLockBatchOptimistic,
    (int) ADODB.CommandTypeEnum.adCmdText +
    (int) ADODB.ExecuteOptionEnum.adOptionUnspecified);
    The rs can be opened but can NOT be updated!
    I saved the recordset into a XML file and there's no
    rs:baseschema/rs:basetable/rs:basecolumn
    attributes for "s:AttributeType" element.
    Any one have idea about this?
    thanks very much

    It is not possible through ADO/OLEDB.
    Try ODP.NET currently in Beta, it is possible to update DataSet created with refcursors. You need to specify your custom SQL or SP to send update/insert/delete.
    As I remember there is a sample with ODP.NET Beta 1 just doing this.

  • Firefox won't let me run and executable from the website-it wants to save it

    Looks like I lost all this information when I clicked to install the troubleshooter???
    again-- problem is I deleted old Internet Explorer and tried to install I.E. 8. With Firefox, I can't click download and choose run. When I click download I can only save.
    The saved download doesn't produce a file that works (it just tries to install I.E. , cleans off old files and restarts the PC OVER AND OVER.)
    I would like the choice to RUN a file instead of saving but I can't find out how to get this option back.
    I disabled all plugins, add ons, looked for possible limiting causes in Firefox to disable. STILL--I have NO CHOICE.
    Maybe this plea for help won't fix my problem and I will have to REPAIR windows--hate to risk it--I would have to back everything up, etc.
    Hopefully a simple answer to this question will solve my problem.
    Thank you to all who consider my question. I appreciate your time.
    Libby

    Hi--
    Thanks for the response. I was sure I used to have the choice to '''run '''or '''save '''when I started using Firefox and somehow I lost it with one of my adjustments. Forgot how or what I did!
    Before going back to Microsoft to try that I.E. program file again, I tried one more time to run it. That was the 5th time I tried to install I.E. from the saved file --and it worked!
    However, after that I tried to download an executable file from malwarebytes--- with and without my Kaspersky internet security program on--- the file RAN automatically anyway instead of insisting on SAVING!
    Maybe this was a microsoft issue?
    I am relieved that all is settled. Always try things 3 or more times is the rule with computers, right?
    But thanks for the tips--I may need them someday. Likewise the Safe mode w/ network support tip.
    ALSO--The page you referred me to was one I hadn't found with my own searching--it was much much better than the others. I bookmarked it.
    Thanks again...

  • How to measure a pdf file from the guides?

    Hi,
    I need to check 200 pdf files before go to print,
    essentialy the size
    So i wanna know if there are an easy way to measure the pdf file from the cut guides
    using indd cs6 or Illustrator
    thanks

    Thanks guys
    The thing is that i dont have the indd file
    I just have a lot of PDF files and i need to check all files gone correct for print
    what Im doing is open PDF file in Illustrator and with the measure tool check the size of the crop marks
    the "page size" in Acrobat includes the bleed area so i can´t be sure if the file gone correct
    Im looking for a fast way to check that.
    The Adobe measuring tool is basically the same as im doing in Illustrator
    and in the Preflight profile i can´t find the page size
    I guess there's no faster way
    thanks a lot Danny Whitehead and John Mensinger for your interest
    and sorry about the bad english

  • Compilation process generates a diferent executable from the original

    Hello!!
    I'm at Guayaquil Equador and I have the next question:
    I am working with forms 6i. I have a form backup that a person of tecnical support gave me, including REPARTO.fmb and the REPARTO.fmx, both have the same date and hour equal to 20/04/2011 16:59.
    But if I test the compiled form in production it woks fine but if I compile the old .fmb generating a new .fmx; this .fmx has a diferent size from de original, with 4000 bytes less than the original compiled, and then it has some execution errors.
    Do you know How those the compilation process works? how is constructed the REPARTO.fmb, this diference and the error could be caused by some environment caracteristics?
    Thank you for your help and regards.
    Alejandra

    user6500532 wrote:
    this .fmx has a diferent size from de original, with 4000 bytes less than the original compiledThis is nothing uncommon; there are some things compiled into the form; for example signatures of the database objects you are accessing within your forms (the structure of tables, or the parameters of a certain stored procedure).
    So it very much depends on what database schema you are compiling against. So giving you just the form is just one part of the story.
    As there is no way you can reverse-engineer your fmx into a fmb there is also no way to tell if your fmx has been built from the fmb you have (except for the file date which can of course be modified by a simple touch ).
    So in short there is no way around debugging your form, and see what error is thrown where. If you don't know why a certain error is thrown at a certain point then by all means post a sample here, and someone should be able to assist you.
    cheers

  • [SOLVED] Question about "loadkeys" from the install procedure

    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/In … ard_layout
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Be … the_keymap
    # loadkeys ro_win
    They show up as black squares... Even after generating these locales, as per the Beginner's Guide:
    [root@archiso ~]# locale-gen
    Generating locales...
    en_US.UTF-8... done
    ro_RO.UTF-8... done
    ro_RO.ISO-8859-2... done
    Genetation complete.
    What do?
    PS: I noticed that they're activated with "Alt+Shift". There's no mention in the Install Guide or Beginner's Guide about this. Heh.

    From the LiveCD (in VirtualBox):
    # nano x
    <wrote these characters>
    # cat x | curl -F "sprunge=<-" http://sprunge.us
    And they show up fine: http://sprunge.us/MKBj
    ăîşţâ
    ĂÎŞŢÂ
    Until a better explanation comes along, I've added this info to the BG:
    Don't worry if some of the letters show up as white squares or as other symbols. It's probably just the console font missing those glyphs. The glyph codes are correct and if you press the correct keys they will show up fine when (or if) you set up a graphical environment later.

    I guess I can mark it as solved...
