Method POST of the HTTP

Hello,
I'm using a CSS11501 with 7.30.00 software version.
During the work sessions, users must fillfull a virtual shop cart, so they use the method POST.
From the servers logs, I have found that the css passes to the servers only the url and no the content sent by users. So the requests fail.
If I remove the css from the system, the servers work properly.
Is it caused by a bug of the software version css is using? How can I resolve it?
Thanks.
Regards
Bye

Would you happen to be doing a redirect of the HTTP POST? Such as to HTTPS or another HTTP url. I found that when an HTTP POST is redirected the client changes to an HTTP GET when sending to the new URL.
If you are redirecting, look at the forum post below:
Content Networking
CSM redirect problem: http to https (http post changed to get)
Hope this helps,

• BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST Method Post

Hi, how can we know in the method post of the BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST if we are in creation mode (me21n) or change mode (me22n), I need to do some coding only at the creation of the PO but this method is call anytime we click save!
thanks!

Hello Alexandre
It would be possible to check the transaction. However, if the BAPI BAPI_PO_CREATE is used the BAdI is also processed yet the transaction is most likely wrong.
An unambigous approach is to check IMPORTING parameter IM_TRTYP in method IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~OPEN:
METHOD if_ex_me_process_po_cust~open.
* define local data
DATA:
lo_po          TYPE REF TO cl_po_header_handle_mm,
ls_header      TYPE mepoheader.
me->md_trtyp = im_trtyp.  " save transaction type
IF ( im_trtyp = 'H' ).  " add new purchase order
I would add an instance attribute MD_TRTYP to the BAdI implementing class and save the transaction type in method IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~OPEN (see above).
Now you can simply add the following IF condition to your POST method:
METHOD if_ex_me_process_po_cust~open.
CASE me->md_trtyp.
WHEN 'H'. " add new purchase order
... " do required action for CREATE
WHEN ... .
WHEN others.
ENDCASE.
The possible transaction types can be found at: im_trtyp -> data element -> domain (fixed values).

Uwe

• ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST: Method "POST"

Hi all,
I'm trying to update the 'EKPO', and I will use the BADI 'ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST'.
When you click the 'SAVE' of purchase order, I want to update the 'EKPO-LGORT'. and I will try to use method 'POST'.But the method 'POST' has only 'IM_HEADER'.
Now I don't know how to upate the EKPO-LGORT using method 'IM_HEADER' in 'POST'.
Can someone help me!!
By Soma

Hai Tomoyuki,
The PROCESS_ITEM method has only IMPORTING parameter, meaning that you cannot change the values in the IM_ITEM parameter.
Use ls_mepoitem = im_item->get_data( ).
and chage your item date. Please read the documentation you can change only some set of data at item level.
Then use im_item->set_data( ).

• HTTP Method Post not supported by this URL

We are running WL6.0sp1 on Win2000. When we try to open a JSP page which calls
a servlet we get a "HTTP Method Post not supported by this URL". This same setup
(WL 6.0sp1 on Win2000) on another machine works absolutely fine running from the
same client. Is there any setup that needs to be done in Weblogic for this? Any
pointers on this would be appreciated.

Normally when you get this error, your username/password is not correct.
It's not a clean way of errorhandling. I have had the same issue and after a while i noticed the password i entered was not correct.

• HTTP method POST is not supported by this URL

Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem in my application.
I used the ADF Security Wizard to enable the ADF Security in my application. So, it created the pages login.html, error.html and welcome.jsp.
The problem is when I try to sign in in my applicaton. On the page login.html I filled in the fields username and password and click on the button to post the form. But when the form is posted I get the message: "HTTP method POST is not supported by this URL".
The form is posted to the bean j_security_check.
Does anybody know why is it happening? What should I do to fix it?
Thanks a lot
Daniel

• The MAC signature found in the HTTP request '***' is not the same as any computed signature. Server used following string to sign: 'POST

Hi,
When trying with Postman sending a REST call to Azure Storage Queues I get:
The MAC signature found in the HTTP request '***' is not the same as any computed signature. Server used following string to sign: 'POST.
The code I have for creating the Authorization Header:
var accountName = "my_account";
string key = ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["my_access_key"];
DateTime dt = DateTime.Now;
string formattedDate = String.Format("{0:r}", dt);
var canonicalizedHeaders = "x-ms-date:" + formattedDate + "\n" + "x-ms-version:2009-09-19" + "\n" ;
var canonicalizedResource = "/my_account/myqueue/messages";
var stringToSign = String.Format("POST,\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n{0}{1}", canonicalizedHeaders, canonicalizedResource);
stringToSign = HttpUtility.UrlEncode(stringToSign);
HMACSHA256 hmac = new HMACSHA256(Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(key));
var signature = Convert.ToBase64String(hmac.ComputeHash(Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(stringToSign)));
var authorizationHeader = String.Format(CultureInfo.InvariantCulture, "SharedKey {0}:{1}", accountName, signature);
return authorizationHeader;
Anyone any idea what I'm missing/doing wrong?
Additional question: do i have to create for every message I want to send a new Authorization header? Or is there an option (as with Service Bus Topics) to create a header that can be used for a certain timeframe?
Thanks.

One issue is with this line of code:
HMACSHA256 hmac = new HMACSHA256(Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(key));
Please use the following:
HMACSHA256 hmac = new HMACSHA256(Convert.FromBase64String(key));
and that should take care of the problem.
Regarding your question, "do i have to create for every message I want to send a new Authorization header? Or is there an option (as with Service Bus Topics) to create a header that can be used for a certain timeframe?"
With your current approach, the answer is yes. What you can do is create a Shared Access Signature on the queue which will be valid for certain duration and then use that for posting messages to a queue using simple HttpWebRequest/HttpWebResponse.
Hope this helps.

• How do I set the Http Header POST URL in SAAJ?

Hi ,
I am a newbie in the field of web services. I was trying to create a SOAP request with Http Header POST information having a POST url like
the following:
POST /OMASTI.xml HTTP/1.1
Content-Type: multipart/related; boundary="eladeladeladeladeladeladeladeladelad"; type=text/xml; start=11814460
Content-Length: 54596
Host: unspecified
SOAPAction: ""
to that effect I did the following in the SAAJ client:
MimeHeaders md = message.getMimeHeaders();
md.setHeader("SOAPAction" ,"\"\"");
md.setHeader("POST" ,"/OMASTI.xml");
However what I got was :
POST / HTTP/1.1
Accept: text/xml, text/html, image/gif, image/jpeg, *; q=.2, */*; q=.2
SOAPAction: ""
POST: /OMASTI.xml
Content-Type: multipart/related; type="text/xml"; boundary="----=_Part_2_32124414.1153146262750"
Content-Length: 3352
Cache-Control: no-cache
Pragma: no-cache
User-Agent: Java/1.5.0_07
Host: www.google.com
Connection: keep-alive
I have two POSTs in the header. How do I fix it? Please Help ASAP.
Regards,
Zeus

Hi,
Please forgive my ignorance. I did the same as you said. and then checked the Http request being sent out using ethreal software... it was the same as I had told earlier. Is only POST supported by the connection object? And the does the URL that comes in the Mime header as POST refer to the URL to which the request was sent? what I mean is that if the mime header says
POST /OMASTI.xml HTTP 1.1, does it mean that the URL that was passed to the connection object was "/OMASTI.xml" ? I had given the url as http://www.google.com to test the request being sent.. I only have a sample SOAP request which shows a HTTP header with the post url as I said before. I need to create a SOAP request with the same sort of Http header and the body needs to follow a certain OMA-STI protocol. My experience in the SOAP domain is almost nil. So please enlighten me.
Thanks in advance,
zeus

Why can I no longer, after having downloaded Lion, write accents and other diacriticals when in the Google, Yahoo, FaceBook, or even here in this post? The new method for getting at the "option" symbols works fine in other places like spotlight, but now even the older "option+letter" doesn't work in most places.

Chrome doesn't support the new accent/diacritics/macron chooser. I'm not sure about other browsers such as Firefox. You can use the old Option+letter combination that Doug suggested. Hopefully updates will solve these little incompatibilities shortly.

• Specify file name of the document returned on the HTTP post

Hello,
we are submitting a PDF form by calling submitForm function:
doc.submitForm
cURL: "http://localhost/script",
cSubmitAs: "XML"
The server returnes data of type "Content-type: application/pdf" and as a result this aplication/pdf data is displayed in a new window in Acrobat Reader.
The document in new window has name e.g. A9R3347.tmp, is it possible to force some concrete name ?
We tried to send from server the http header:
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=\"custom_name.pdf\"
or
Content-Type: application/pdf;         filename=custom_name.pdf
but non of this works.
1/ is it possible to set some custom name of the document, which is returned from a server in response of HTTP Post submit ?
2/ is it possible to return other kind of data then application/pdf ? ( my tests with AR 9.3 with other formats failed).
Thanks for any advice.

Yes,
I need to set up data as POST format before I POST it.
To be more specific I know how to post within a JSP if an xml element is like:
<AuthMethod>urn:opengeospatial:authNMethod:OWS:1.0:password</AuthMethod>
where the field is AuthMethod and the value is urn:opengeospatial:authNMethod:OWS:1.0:password
but what I am not sure of is when the field has values embedded within it like:
<ServiceRequest DCP="HTTP_POST" mimeType="text/xml" encoding="UTF-8">REQUEST=GetCapabilities&SERVICE=WMS</ServiceRequest>:
It has a field of ServiceRequest and a value of ![CDATA[REQUEST=GetCapabilities&SERVICE=WMS]]
but it also other value embedded with ServiceRequest like mimeType="text/xml" .
