Middleware for ocustomer master changes

Hi,
I am a SD consultant with an idea in CRM. We are maintaining CRM 6.0 and ECC6.0. Both are now loaded with initial data loading of customers and materials.
We have a requirement " whenever there is a change in the customer master's any field in ECC6.0, that needs to be transmitted to CRM through middleware. I know that we do have some BDoc's which carries delta changes to CRM".
If this is not met we may go for new enhancement in ECC and develop a new report to capture all the changes and update them in CRM manually. To avoid a new report and manual work we need to make it automatically using middleware.
Any one any idea on how to achieve this.

Hi,
You need to create an entry in R3AC4 in order to enable the delta from ECC to CRM. In CRM Tcode- R3AC4 you should have the four events for object class BUPA
00001321
CAM_1000
CAM_2000
CAM_3000
you should check the PIDE entry in the ECC side and also make sure proper filter setting for object CUSTOMER_MAIN in CRM tr. R3AC1

Report for vendor master changes

Good day,

This report does not reflect the old and the new values for changed bank details.
It does not show anything under the old value and shows **deleted** and **created** for new values.

You will have to do configuration in T Codes OBAT and OBAU to achieve what you want in the report.
Check the IMG activity documentation for the following.
SPRO -> IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -> Vendor Accounts -> Master Records -> Preparations for Changing Vendor Master Records -> Define Field Groups for Vendor Master Records.

Can any one give me most useful T-codes for create, change and display material master.
I have one T-code which is very useful for material master it is "MM50". With help of this tcode you can see material extend detail and also you can delete mass material with help of this tcode.

MM17, LSMW, MM50 --- These are the 3 main transactions which is used frequently to Mass change the Material master.
There is one more option is there using BDC Upload.
Batch Data Communication or BDC is a batch interfacing technique that SAP developed. It is mainly used for uploading data into the SAP R/3 system. BDC works by simulating the user input from transactional screen via an ABAP program.
The data input data file will come in the form of a flat file which the user save as file type txt file or prn file from the Microsoft Excel program. An Abaper will create a program to read the text file and upload into the SAP system.
Transaction -- SHDB will be used to record the change material master. After, the simulation, the Abaper can generate a sample program and modify from there. It makes the programming easier and faster.
For a BDC upload you need to write a program which created BDC sessions.

Problem in BDC for Material master Change

Hi,
I have made a BDC to change the material master, I have done the recording with SHDB   I want to do changes in Sales data and MRP data, when I do the recording I have selected views and it was 4 , 11 AND 12 VIEW IN select vie option    but in some material Classifcation view is maitain and it is coming at 2nd position and my selected views are shiftin by one position due to this BDC is giving error Screen contain no filed -
I sthere any way that I acn directly select the Three views as Sales data , MRP1 and MRP2,   because when we do the recording it is not showing the name it is showing as

Need config table which stores data for Vendor Master changes

Hi Gurus,
I need to have the name of the config tables which store the details of the Vendor Master configuration changes based on account group information.
For Example,
For a given Account Group(ZM09), the VAT Registration field in the control data tab of the transaction XK02 is suppressed. and for other Account Groups the VAT Registration field is appearing in the Control data tab of the XK02 transaction.
So I need to determine at run time for which vendor account group the VAT Reg field is suppressed and for which it is appearing.
Hence I require the name of the Config table in SAP which stores this information.

You can select all levels of changes (i.e. General, Company Code, purchasing org)or individual levels only.
If you want the tables then CDHDR & CDPOS will provide all the details.

Need help in BDC for Customer master change

I have an interface for Changing Customer master data and I am using BDC for that. I have three scenarios:
1. Insert new data.
2. Change the existing data.
3. Delete the existing data.
The BDC is working fine in the first two scenarios, but if i want to delete an the existing data, lets say for e.g. Name3 or Email Id its not working because i need to pass the value as blank in the BDC for this field.How would i check? i thought i would first get the existing value in customer master and check if the interface value is blank then make this field value to blank in BDC.
But this is not working because in case the interface wants to remove only the email id, the other fields would still be blank.
How to handle this scenario, please advice.

What is the difference between 2 and 3? Isn't "deleting data" in your context the same as changing to a blank value?
Why can you not just fill the value as received in the input data into the BDC data?

Material master change report

I've been asked to created a program for material master changes that will run nightly and send an e-mail if any field on any material number has changed that day. I've checked into MM04 and MM44 but both run for a single material only. Is there any report that will run for all materials and give the change records? I'm trying to explore all options before writing a custom report.

Vendor Master Changes updation

Hi Vamshi,
You can use the field<b> udate</b> from table CDHDR .I am referring to this as we can see this feild in report S_ALR_87012089 which gives the date of last change in vendor master if you give the vendor number in the selection screen.So what you can do is that you can pick the values from it..

Change pointer for HR master data is not getting generated in table BDCP

I have done all the required configuration for change pointer for HR master Distribution and it was working fine few days back. Now suddnly it has stopped working.

Customer master report for new and changed customer

Hi All,
I want to write a report for customer master, If a new customer is created or if customer is changed the report should get the customer and download it to a flat file.
There is no proper spec they want customer based on acount group,Here how i can find the customer is newly created or changed. Change pointer is active.
in table CDHDR if customer is created the date and object id is there but changed the changed date is not in table kna1.
Please help me regarding the logic.

Please check for the delta entries on the customer master tables in DBTABLOG.
This table stores all the changes made in database level.

Change logs for material master are cut

Hi,
I am having a problem with material master logs. I am not able to get the complete logs for the changes made on a partcular material. It is displaying the change log from today to 2006 but i want to check till 2001. As of now it is cutting it till 2006.
Where as in the quality system i am able to see the complete log but not in our production system.
The way to view material master changes is display any material and go to Enivornment menu and select display changes.

It is possible to archive change documents independent of the objects they belong to.
Usually you would archive a material master and at the same time all change logs get archived too with object MM_MATNR
But as already said. It is possible to archive change logs independtly with object CHANGEDOCU
so execute SARA, enter CHANGEDOCU and click the administration button. If you see archives that were recently created, then you can be sure that your logs got archved.
