Midori JSON errors

After upgrading a few of libwekit and midori's dependencies, some javascript/AJAX elements have stopped working in midori. The only error I could find is in the javascript console complaining that
TypeError: Result of the expression 'JSON.decode' [undefined] is not a function"
I've downgraded all suspect packages that were upgraded, but the problem still persists. I've searched around and haven't been able to find similar problems or possible sources of the error.
Any help with possible solutions or sources of the error would be greatly appreciated, even tips on what JSON calls may depend on.
Edit: Got around to trying it out with uzbl (only other browser I know that uses libwebkit) and the error still occurs, so it looks like a webkit problem. For now I'll post a bug report there.

    Hi,
    I have a MBP 13' Late 2011 and Yosemite 10.10.2 (14C1514).

  • Can't upload an app using either Xcode 4.2 or Application Loader JSON Error

    Hi,
    I am struggling with a problem for the past few days. I can't upload my archived application for an update of an existing app. The app name is (عرض القبلة). So it is in Arabic, though I changed the bundle name in the project to have only ASCII characters.
    When I try to Validate or Submit using Xcode or when I click Deliver your App button in Application Loader I am getting the following message:
    An error occurred talking to the iTunes Store
    In the Console I am seeing the following error message:
    10/25/11 12:57:59.387 AM Xcode: *** Error: An error occurred while deserializing the JSON request.  Error Message - Invalid spurious JSON character sequence (ا) at index 990
    Please note that the character in paranthesis is an Arabic character.
    I installed the latest version of Java for Lion but it didn't work. The application name in Xcode does not have any Arabic characters, I belive that the problem is coming because of the name in iTunesConnect.
    Does anyone know how to solve this problem. I tried 2 different machines but I am getting the same error on both of them.

                                      Can't upload apps using xcode4, JSON error, anyone knows?

  • SAP NetWeaver Gateway and JSON Error Handling

    Hello All,
    I am developing a small test application using Netweaver Gateway to understand the error handling.  I am using Postman to test the Gateway service.  I have developed small RFC FM to read return list of deliveries for a shipment.  The RFC reads in a shipment number and returns the list of deliveries.  The RFC also has Return parameter of type BAPIRET2 that stores the error message if shipment is not found.  We want to use only JSON format for the application.  So, I have set the 'Accept' parameter at request header to 'content/json'.  I am also aware of the exception /IWBEP/CX_MGW_BUSI_EXCEPTION that allows to throw an error message from backend suite.  I have that by having a Return parameter of type BAPIRET2, the generated method automatically handles the error message and sets the correct HTTP status.
    Now the Problem:
    As mentioned earlier, we want to use JSON format.  When I set the header parameter or specify $format=json in the URI the HTTP status code is always set to 500 when there is an error.  The error message about invalid shipment also is not returned.
    When I remove the JSON format parameters, the XML format is returned and HTTP status is set to 400 with appropriate error message.
    How can we get the Gateway to set the HTTP status code to 400 along with error message in the event of an error in RFC.  I have tried with the exception /IWBEP/CX_MGW_BUSI_EXCEPTION and BAPIRET2 return parameter but still does not work.  Is this a known issue in Gateway/JSON?
    Please see attached screenshots.
    Thanks,
    Rutul Thakkar

    Anyone have encountered this issue?  Any suggestions?
    Thanks,

  • JSON error when passing items into a Dynamic PL/SQL action

    Hi,
    APEX 4.1.1, Oracle RDBMS 11.2.0.3
    I have a recipient field whose value is intended to be dependent on two other fields on the page (a select list and a number field).
    I have an on-change 'set-value' DA on the number field with a set type of 'PL/SQL Function Body'.
    Currently the function body is simply "return '1234';".
    This works unless I specify 'Page Items to Submit'. Once I do this, the recipient field is no longer populated and FireBug console reports the following error:
    SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character

    P.S. Fixed my anonymous block issue as well. Could you post the following from your Execute PL/SQL Code action please?
    PL/SQL Code
    Page Items to Submit
    Page Items to Return
    My guess is there's something conflicting in there, that's where I was going wrong.

  • JSON error when trying to redirect to another page in same application

    I'm trying to set up a PL/SQL dynamic action that is triggered by clicking on a button.  The dynamic action sets two values in a table and then I would like to redirect to another page.  Setting the values works fine.  The code is below:
    declare
    l_information varchar2(255) := :P94_FILENAME;
    BEGIN
    commit;
    UPDATE VDI_METADATA
    SET CREATEUSERLISTNAME = l_information,
        CREATEUSERLISTON = sysdate();
    commit;
    htp.init;
    owa_util.redirect_url('f?p=&APP_ID.:81:&APP_SESSION.::NO:::');
    END;
    The redirect fails with the following eror:
    "Error: parseerror: JSON.parse: unexpected non-whitespace character after JSON data"
    I've tried several approaches, using the suggestions in this forum on how to redirect to a page from within PL/SQL .  None of them result in success.
    Can anyone tell me: What is the system complaining about?  And is there a work-around?
    Thank you.

    John,
    I would recommend adding another true action in your dynamic action that executes javascript.  the logic would just be redirect('f?p=&APP_ID.:81:&APP_SESSION.::NO:::');
    Then remove everything after the commit in your pl/sql action.

  • ERRORS Muse not menus working, JSON, can't open old files

    Using 2014.4CC
    I built out a site, went to save an upload to BC.
    Midway thru upload, got a JSON error .. see screenshot below. It exited, reopened the file and happened again.
    Renamed the folder at ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Adobe Muse CC to force a refresh of prefs ... Muse would open, but no menus, can't open pages, exit, etc ...
    So I uninstalled Muse using the uninstaller in Apps folder, cleared the folders in ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Adobe Muse CC
    Reinstalled Muse from CC app ... opens, can create a new site, but open any old ones, the menus still don't work.
    How do i get a fresh install and open my older files again?

    All menus grayed out ... can't edit old files, can only create a new one ....
    What folders do i purge and install Muse? This all started with a JSON error above ... using late Muse app 2014.2

  • Error handling HTTP 400 in WCF-WebHttp adapter BizTalk 2013

    Hi!
    Does anyone knows how to catch HTTP errors when using WCF-WebHttp REST adapter in BizTalk 2013? I've looked into the article BizTalk
    Server: REST Services Error Handling, but that is for BizTalk 2010 using the WCF-Custom adapter.
    What I want is to catch the exception in an orchestration, and do some actions dependent on which HTTP error it is, i.e. HTTP 400.
    Idar H.

    Hi Idar,
    Welcome to BizTalk forum.
    From your description above, I don't have exact same scenario like yours, this scenario exposes a BizTalk Orchestration as a RESTful webservice using WCF-WebHttp, perhaps it will be good reference for you. See:

  • Java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError while calling a java class from BPEL

    Hi,
    I'm calling a java class to convert JSON to XML using BPEL. I have imported all the necessary jar files in the project and compiling done successfully.
    But at runtime , i get the java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/sf/json/JSON error.
    For this i placed all the necessary jars under FUSION_HOME/Oracle_SOA1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/ path and restarted the server.
    But still i'm getting the same error at runtime.
    Did i missed any step? Let me know the procedure to solve this.
    Do i have to run ant or edit Manifest file after placing the jar?
    in one site i find we have to place the jars under <DOMAIN HOME>/lib directory. Is this correct?
    We are using SOA suite 11.1.1.6.
    Thanks,

    Hi Karan,
    I have done placing the jars at FUSION_HOME/Oracle_SOA1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/ and ran ant  -f build.xml .The build was successful without any error.
    I have even placed the jars in <DOMAIN HOME>/lib (/us2001/fmw/11.1.1.6/user_projects/domains/ohsdomain/lib) and did a server restart.

    This is SQL*Plus compatible - i.e. the expected behaviour.    Although I have to say it took me by surprise until I tested it.
    As you can see from the example below,  it doesn't work in sqlplus either, unless your current directory is where install.sql is.
    You can make it work in SQL Developer by setting the Select default path to look for scripts preference to the location of install.sql

  • Execute javascript from plsql in a dynamic action.

    Is it possible to execute javascript with htp.p from a plsql block in a dynamic action (on change).
    I have tried it but I get a JSON error.
    The reason I want to to this is:
    I have to check something with plsql and depending on the result I want to do something in javascript.
    I now going to try it with ajax from javascript, but if somebody has a other way to do this i like to hear it.
    Thanks,
    Fred.

    Very neat, many thanks.
    I now have a 'Set Value' 'Javascript Expression' action of 'this.triggeringElement.id;' to set a hidden *but unprotected* page item. This is followed by the 'Execute PL/SQL' action which simply calls a package procedure and passes the name of the triggering item. The procedure then sets the session state(s) as required.
    Thank you!

    Can anyone please tell me how to call ascx.cs  code from javascript ??
    Thanks in Advance !!!

    yes that is true, ajax calls can only be made to an endpoint like aspx pages/web service, basically anything that can return a http response etc. User Control can be embedded inside of aspx pages.
