MIRO (Invoice Date) should be updated with Document date in MIGO Transactin

Please helo me in the issue . I need to replace the MIRO (Invoice Date) (INVFO-BLDAT)with Document Date in MIGO Transaction (MKPF-BLDAT). Can anyone suggest me the Userexit/ BADI for acheiving the same.

Exchange rate not updated with posting date, translation date updated

Hi,
I have the follwoing problem in F110. Currency documents are posted with exchange date of the docuemnt entry date. Translation date is updated with Posting date, just exchange rate is not updated. the systems calculates according entry date. Why entry date is one day before the date of posting, I cannot understand. The system takes the exchage date from entry date, which is one day before (docuemnt, posting and translation date)

Hello,
This means, that the exhange rate is missing your local currency vs USD in the system. Your Business Partner or any of items you are adding to the invoice is using USD (price list or customer is in USD).
My tip is some of the items has USD price set or USD Purchase price used.
DO the following:
Check the POsting date of your invoice
Go to Administration -> Exhnage rate, and locate the posting date and USD from the matrix, and enter the rate.
Post your invoice.

Data should be processed with one package only

Hello,
I need to load data from ods1 to ods2.
The logic if the transformation requires that data should be processed with one package only. Otherwise the result will be misleading.
I can increase the package size up to 1 mln but its not the best solution as actual numbers of records is unknown.
What would you recommend?

We had a similar requirement for one of the projects, where data for the same key from base DSO were required in the same DP.
We worked it out in the End routine, where during the load we sort the data package for the same key combination and delete adjacent duplicates. then we lookup in the active table of the base DSO(ODS1 in your case) to get corresponding records for the same Key combination. Carry out the computaton and then populate the data package again..

A serious problem with JTable to update with new data.

I am customizing a JTable. In the table 3 rows and row wise same data presents. After every 30 sec table will be update with new data. But a exception is coming like: ArrayIndexOutofBound 4>=0. Exception is not coming so frequently some time it comes within 1 min or after 1 hour of program running and each time *4>=0* is varies with different number.
Here is the model i am using and to update table i am calling setTableData( ) with updated vector as a argument.

I need insert data in a column with uniqueidefier data type, when i am trying to that getting error.
error message says: "Conversion failed when converting from a character string to uniqueidentifier."
I have data in table a col1,col2,col3,col4 - col3,col4 has datatype as varchar and i am updating table b columns col1,col2 with table a col3 and col4.
Please guide how to do it.

Not any String can be convert to uniqueidentifier.
1. you have to make sure u use a value which is fir to be uniqueidentifier
2. Use convert or cast in the insert query in order to convert the string into uniqueidentifier
insert X ... convert(uniqueidentifier, 'string which fit to be convert to uniqueidentifier')

PR Date Should be less than PO date

Hi
I have done the change in message type to control PO date at the time of creation, now PO can be created only in current date but if at a later stage somebody has been created one more PR and change the PO and add one more line item from this PR then PR date is greater than PO date.
So this is objectionable and I want to control this i.e. PR date should be less than PO date.
Please guide how can i achieve this?

Ajay if u you want to restrict the PO can be created only in current date then u can take help of your ABAPER because its possible through BADI.
If you want to add the other line item in PO Or Use Tcode Me22n you can not change the document date that time bcoz its disable check it.

BAM Data Control - Group query with Active Data Service

Trying to get a group query from a BAM data control to work with Active Data Service in an ADF application (JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0).

When I try a group query on the same data, currently just trying to group by _DOB for every 10 years to count the number of people, I get no data change events fired, so don't get any data pushed to the client, though the data has been changed if I refresh the page.

I´ve tryied to VALIDATE INFOCUBE DATA BY COMPARING IT WITH PSA DATA making the step by step contained in the HOW TO ...
The problem is that I have the following error when i activate the transfer rules after aggregating the infoobjet 0TCTREQUID and don´t know how to resolve it:
" IDoc segment /BIC/CICA7ZBW_RECEP_DI could not be assigned to IDoc ZSCA002
Message no. RSAR240
Diagnosis
The transfer structure is assigned to IDoc ZSCA002 as an IDoc segment for the data transfer between source system and Business Information Warehouse.
This assignment failed.
System response
IDoc segment /BIC/CICA7ZBW_RECEP_DI not known to IDoc V2&. Therefore, no data import can take place from the source system for this InfoSource."
Any idea of what could have happend?

I put CONTRACT START DATE and CONTRACT END DATE fields on the form. These 2 objects (Date/Time objjects) i pulled them from Satndard tab of pallette and dropped on my layout page design, fine.
Now, am trying to put a validation that the end dat eshould not lower than start date, so, i got a thread as below from Niall,

and i did my FormCalc coding under EXIT event of END DATE field as below,

If you use the exit event, you will probably have to have the same code on both the start and end date fields since they have a dependancy on each other. Maybe better to try the validate event of the end date so that if either field is changed the event gets fired. You can try the following for validate event

MIRO - additional costs - 2 acc. docs with different dates

Dear SAP Experts!
I have the following issue.
Case description:
On March 19 2008 my Customer entered additional costs in MIRO for material A. The document Invoice date and Posting date (as well as BaselineDt) on the header were entered as 29.02.2008
The way the additional costs were entered without purchase order reference, directly to Material Account using Material Tab.
The additional cost was entered for the ammount of material that was at that (29.02) moment on stock. (however there were some movements - sales and returns between 29.02 and 19.03)
The issue is - 2 accounting documents were created:
- one conatining postings to Vendor, Tax and Material accounts - with Invoice date and Posting date as entered in MIRO - both 29.02.2008
- second containing postin to Stock Account - Cr & Price Difference account - Db. however the dates that appear are Document date - 29.02.2008, Posting date 01.03.2008
So the first document goes to Period 2 and the second to Period 3.
Cutomer asks me for explanation.
The questions are:
1. Is this the way standard system works?
2. Why 2 accounting documents were created?
3. Why they were created with different Posting dates?
4. Why there were any postings done on Price Differences account if the additional costs were posted to the ammount that was on stock at the time?
5. Even if there is a logic that the date is different - why it was 01.03.2008 at this case not 10 or 19.03.2008 for example?
6. How does the system calculates the ammount that is posted to the Stock Difference accoun?

This will post automatically during miro as GR/IR account value same for both GR and IR. The subsequent 60 unit in PO will be received in the next GR. is this process correct?

You can the same line item of PO And invoice will get blocked.

Somehow in vendor invoice hardcopy stated 50 units. Due to different in invoice quantity, the invoice amount also different.
In miro, we cannot change the quantity value in line item. Amount at header less then total line item value.
GR/IR can be setoff completely as I do not change line item quantity. Correct?
May I know what should I do on the difference?

Exchange rate should pick as per document date of GRN in MIGO

Dear all,
As per my client requirement while doing Material GRN in MIGO, system should fetch exchange rate as per Document date of the GRN.
As per standard now it is picking from posting date.
we already implemented Note number 574583. After implementation of this note system picking document date for MIRO and normal FI Documents(f-02) bur not for MIGO.
So suggest me how can we get document date as exchange rate translation date for MIGO
Note: Before posting this, i have searched for solution in SCN but i didn't get solution any where.

Finally i am able to fulfill my client requirement with the help of you and SAP support. I have used SAP Note number 619330 and few configuration steps.
