Misc. Receipt with OPM quality enable r12

Dear Friends..
need your guidance..
i setup OPM Quality and event for sample creation - including Validity rule for Inventory that have impact on misc. transaction esp. Miscellaneous Receipt.
now, i can receipt quantity with all information, and a notification was send to sampler people.
but, what i confuse is, on receiving transactions, and WIP qc process - all process pending until the sample result disposition change into ACCEPT.
but, on Miscellaneous Receipt, after i save and check the onhand quantity workbench - the quantity i have receipt by Miscellaneous Receipt directly added.
even if Notification send to sampler people, by this far, what i've know is on Miscellaneous Receipt, the sampling process ONLY for formality process, is it correct or i have a wrong setup?

How about this?
Create a non-quantity tracked subinventory by name say, DamagedInv. Whenever you want to reduce/remove the damaged quantity, perform a subinventory transfer transaction from the original subinventory to the DamagedInv subinventory.
Since DamagedInv is non-quantity tracked, it will not appear in the Subinventory LOV while performing other transactions (except miscellaneous receipt)..

Switch Purchasing Quality to OPM Quality

Dear all i need your advices..
i have this situation, that FIRST, i have to set our distribution modul (INV,OM) and Order management. on Receiving process i need to set Receipt process WITH inspection that use PURCHASING quality (since OPM quality will setup after the distiribution already live several months).
now, after that setup already settle, i'll run with manual setup for OPM - including OPM Quality.
now, my question is:
are the inspect process (on receipt process) could CHANGE to OPM quality flawlessly or after we already set the inspection process with Purchasing Quality on first place-we cannot modify it to use OPM Quality inspection (one time setup)?
please give suggestion - could i run with this process OR i should have setup the OPM quality along with DISTRIBUTION modul WHILE OPM module not run YET.

Raj, here's the background..
i have a client that will run Finance, OTC and P2P on Phase 1,
on our schedule, after several month-on Phase 2 we will run OPM (almost all module).
on Quality matters, I consider to use INSPECTION with Purchasing Quality on Phase 1, consider:
1. OPM quality is NOT setup yet,
2. and to make the change smoothly from phase 1 to phase 2 for operation people (esp for operational people that will run the receipt process).
then when Phase 2 are live with OPM quality, suppose the Receipt Inspection process will be change with OPM quality inspection process.
now, my question related with the TRANSITION from Phase 1 to Phase 2:
1. are the process will switch flawlessly or AFTER we use INSPECTION on Receipt process with Purchasing Quality we CAN NOT switch to OPM quality (because this is one time setup that cannot change).
2. If the switching run flawlessly from Purchasing Quality to OPM Quality, are previously historical data will be available on OPM quality OR we cannot see and analyze the Purchasing quality data because OPM quality already remove the Purchasing quality.
all will setup in release 12i.

Dfference between OPM Quality 11.5.10 to R12

Hi OPM Quality Gurus,
I need to know more about OPM Qaulity 11.5.10 regarding specification setup and sample testing (inv/customer/production/vendor) ans system admin setups. I have implemenrted OPM Quality r12 recently and I notice 11.5.10 is different, any help will be appreciated. (It is more like looking back )

now the sample is created automatically but i can´t introduce results to this sample.
If you can create samples, in my case, the problem was located on the subscription to Batch Creation that was disabled. Finally, I enable it using a script.

Problem with video, Quality gets all messed up

I'm burning a video thats about an hour and even minutes long, with about 3 short little extra videos on there that are about five minutes long each
I burned the DVD with best quality.
The Menus are fine, and two of the short videos are fine
but after like 5 minutes on the main video, it starts to get all distorted and chopy and all this green distortion comes up and its just a mess
I would burn it with best performance, but it says its to long for that
I NEED HELP!!

QT and FCP show you different colors. You need to go into QT and enable FCP color compatibility. I believe it is in the SHOW MOVIE PROPERTIES, then the VIdeo track, then VISUAL SETTINGS. Somewhere in there.

All incoming receipts with specific WBS elemnt.

This is my posting in SDN.Now iam working in supporting side.I want to create A new FI AR report is needed which would display all invoices and received payments for a specific WBS element. The required fields are available in 0FIAR_4 . We are using this data source and loading to FIAR_C03 ( cube) and FIAR_O03 ( ods) .
My problem is WBS element is HIDE in R/3 side (data source) .
The end user wants the report all the invoices and all the incoming payments(receipts) with specific WBS element . This WBS ele. Is restricted in R/3 only. Is there is any chances to select that field in data source , if it is possible how can I enable that.
In this report only they want Project definition char. Also. This field is not the same data source in ( 0FIAR_4).
So please help in this regard any one.

You have to enhance the existing datasource with Project definition and Amount in R/3.after adding these two fields to extract structure,you need to write ABAP code to populte data to these two fields.Logic will be given by clicnt or functional consulatants...based on the given logic data will be populated into these two fields...
after that replicate data source in bw,activate transfer rules...
Thats why i asked to open new thread to get attention of experts on tenhancing datasource...

Can you tell me which version of dreamweaver you are using (and flash pro, if you have it), as the code you provided has element of a number of different versions (e.g. your js flash files are reasonably new, but your flash inserted into the html body is old, but with the cs3 version of flash player indicated!). Also the detect flash file is no longer required.

Goods Receipt with PI sheet

I am trying to do goods receipt with PI sheet. After I complete the PI sheet it seems that the goods receipt get done successfully but the stock doesnt show up may be as delivery or PGI is getting done.
We have WM enabled in the system, not sure how PI sheet GR gets affected by this!
Can anyone please suggest where should I check for probable solution

What do you mean by delivery number? It should not show delivery number in CO54, rather it should be goods receipt material document number.
You can activate the sending of process message by background job RCOCB002 (cross plant) or RCOCB004 (plant-specific). You can set up the be after event "SAP_NEW_PROCESS_MESSAGES" (enter parameter as client number). However, I had the bad experience about this since it will log if you have several processes. Therefore, the periodical job, says every 10 minutes, give you a lot better in terms of performance.

I tried to save FLV directly with custom-quality (Idea JPGEncoder).

Because lib of flvrecorder.as has save in RAW (uncompress) only, that is why I dont like uncompress flv.
1 min takes over 10 MB, that is too large for upload.
and I change a few script in flvrecorder.as look like and doesnt work with JPGEncoder.

In OSX when you go to file and print you will usually get a window that pops up with print settings.
In 10.6 it may only show you the printer to use, and the preset to use, but you can click the square to the right of that with a triangle in it to view more options.
From here there is a drop down for paper type/quality, where you can select photo paper, and a higher quality, then go to print.

i'm using order management with Process execution ...when i create a sales order and try to access the Reservation details from Tools menu to reserve the SO against Batch i got an error
APP-GMI-83900: OPM Manual Allocation is not avaialable

Hi Amr,
You would have attached the "Allocation class" for that item right. Please check the Parameter for the particular "Allocation Class" where you would have mentioned "TYPE = AUTOMATIC". Upto my knowledge thats the issue in your case.

GR/IR: Open receipts with vendor name

Hello SAP Gurus-
I am not sure if we are doing something wrong but we are currently reconciling our GR/IR account and what we noticed is that when we added the vendor name to the report with the help of an OSS note, we noticed that it gives us all transactions that make up the balance however it isn't what we wanted exactly.
What we were looking for was once we execute MR11 and handle all differences, we want to see only open receipts with the Vendor name. How can we achieve this? Is there a report? Should the GR/IR account be set up as a clearing account?
Any help/ insight is greatly appreciated!

Can I sync contacts and calendars with iTunes Match enabled?

I’m getting an iPhone in a couple of weeks and really want iTunes match but the more I read about it the more I’m wondering whether it’ll be worth the hassle. I’ve loads of old CD rips at 128 kbps and protected iTunes files, also at 128 kbps, and what really attracts me is the idea of upgrading all these to unprotected 256 kbps.
I have a Macbook for personal use and a PC for work, being able to sync both computers to the phone will be essential for me. I know that I wouldn’t be able to sync music with iTunes match enabled but if I can sync contacts and calendars and drag Office documents to the phone from both computers that would be OK.
Please could someone tell me whether this would be possible?

Keep in mind that iCloud and iTunes Match are seperate services. One does not require the other. However iCloud will work with Outlook 2007 and up so you can keep all your contacts in sync across the devices. You can also sign up for iTunes Match if you want. Or you might even consider using Google to do what you want. It is not necessary for you to keep syncing via USB, unless that is just what you are comfortable doing.
