I'm a loyal Apple Fun, never miss anything from it and trust it and always fellow the new updates. But since iOS 6 came out until now the new iTunes shows up, my nightmares have came.
I can not sync my iPhones and iPod with the new iTune. The round sync sign is turning in hours and hours but never does the works, nothing happened. I close iTunes then reopen, but it never shows up, I have to restart my PC to reopen it. It worked well before. So I don't want to try sync my iPad.
I updated all my device to iOS6. The devices work very slow and eat battery very fast. When I used iPhone 4S, I could use full battery for the whole day, then I charged it at night. But use iPhone 5, I need to charge the battery 2-3 times a day, it's the same usage as before. The worst thing is the Google calendar, for syncing one even with my PC Windows 7, it takes about 15mins, sometimes even takes longer. When I used my iPhone 4 and 4S, it took just 2-5 seconds. I use my iPhones, iPad, PC Google calendar for my work, it's very important for me to get instant sync between them.
And another worst thing is to open my email accounts, it took about 5- 10 mins to get my emails, drafts and switched between my email accounts. The iPhone 5 gives me a very big trouble, I've got headache everyday and expected iOS6.0.1. But it did not help much, the problems are still with me. I had to delete another email accounts, just left one gmail account to keep my work going, it helps me. But I still have the problem for sync google calendar evens between my devices.

You fix it by purchasing the apps on the Mac App Store. These apps come free with a new machine, not a used one.

Group and order your podcasts to a playlist. Then play them from the playlist.

No, that's just wasting space. A back up needs to be on a different disk.
Your photos are within the iPhoto Library.

Should You Buy An iPhone Now, Or Wait For The Next One?

The most common thing I get asked whenever I tell anyone I'm a tech writer is some version of the question: "Should I get a new iPhone now, or should I wait until the next one comes out?" It is as though my business card should read not "Technology Writer," and instead "iPhone Psychic"
Not that I am not happy to prognosticate! And in that spirit, here's a look at the questions on everyone's mind: Should I buy an iPhone now? And if not now, when?
First, let me say that I am fascinated by the peculiar kind of panic that I encounter in people I meet who are deciding on a purchase date for their next Apple phone. I call it the iSenberg Uncertainty Principle: Potential iPhone buyers exist in a constant state of anxiety, perpetually worrying that purchasing an iPhone on any given day will mean that they will miss out on the inevitably cooler version with the mind-blowing new features soon down the road. The Cupertino Sword of Damocles constantly dangles over their heads, threatening to pierce them with unhipness and iShame.
Here is one solid piece of advice I can offer to help you avoid the Sword: Do not buy any new iPhone until September. Apple has an annual media conference each September, and every blog with the word 'Mac' in the title is reporting that Steve Jobs is going to do his black turtleneck thing and introduce some kind of new iPhone there. The September Media conference is generally used to present the new iPods, but as All Things Digital reports, Apple plans to "commandeer" the conference for its official iPhone announcement.
Apple is long overdue to release its new iPhone anyway, if history is any indication. Look at this handy little timeline:
June 2007: original iPhone released
June 2008: iPhone 3G released
June 2009: iPhone 3Gs released
June 2010: iPhone 4 released
June 2011: Nothing!
In other words, the 5th generation iPhone is already a month late, so it makes sense that the rumors are swirling. Apple's tardiness can be explained by the fact they've actually already released two iPhones in 2011 -- the Verizon iPhone in February and the unlocked iPhone 4 in June. Their schedule is all screwy, like a traveler trying to get over jet lag. But all signs point to them getting right with a September Apple iPhone release.
So what jaw-dropping new feature will this iPhone boast? We're hearing that the "iPhone 4S," as it is rumored to be called, won't be the dramatic re-imagining that many of us have come to expect with each new iPhone release. Tech blogThis Is My Next thinks that it will be thinner and lighter, and that it will run on a new chip; the New York Times thinks that it will be the same dimensions as the iPhone 4 but that it will be cheaper. Bloomberg agrees with This Is My Next on the chip and adds that the rear-facing camera will upgrade to 8 megapixels from 5 megapixels.
Now, even if you're just a normal, non-geek iPhone user, who doesn't care if the rear-facing camera doubles its megapixel count, or if Apple has changed the manufacturer of its data processors, or whatever, you still need to at least wait for the alleged iPhone announcement, and here's why: if history is any indicator, the introduction of a newer iPhone model is accompanied by a drop in price of older iPhone models. When the iPhone 3GS was announced, the price of the iPhone 3G dropped by $100; when the iPhone 4 was announced, the price of an iPhone 3GS also dropped by $100. Even if you know that you're not going to drop $400 on whatever iPhone Apple begins peddling in September, there is no sense in paying more money for an iPhone 4 or 3Gs now when the base price of both seem like locks to drop in two months.
But before we start fantasizing, how can we be so certain that Jobs is even going to announce an iPhone in September if Apple hasn't so much as indicated such a thing? How do we know that all of these rumors weren't just started by lonely nerds like me and my co-workers emailing each other from our mother's basements, inciting iPhone rumors all on our own?
Well, first of all, I don't live with my mother; and second of all, the new iPhone rumors have sprung forth from two reliable sources held in high journalistic regard.
The first is esteemed, award-winning tech journalist John Paczkowski of All Things Digital, who blazed iPhone prognostication trails by predicting back in April that an updated iPhone 4 would be unveiled at the September Apple music Conference and has steadfastly maintained the claim is true through June and into July. In fact, he confirmed as recently as July 5 that a shiny new iPhone looked to be in the early stages of supply chain production, and that people close to the company still believe that the new iPhone would be ready for the Jobs treatment in September.
So there is Reliable Source One.
Reliable Source Number Two is the Wall Street Journal, not exactly a one-laptop operation. The paper gives "the end of September" as a target launch date, which squares up with both Paczkowski's prediction of a September announcement and release. This doesn't even mention This Is My Next's separate prediction of a September release, nor 9to5Mac reporting that there are going to be two new iPhones in September, one low-end and high-end. But now we're falling down the rabbit hole and into the basement again, so let's focus:
There is likely to be a new iPhone in September. It will likely affect the price of all the other iPhones. The iPhones available now -- the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 3Gs -- will probably be cheaper in two months. Unless you drop your current iPhone in a pool, a bathtub or a volcano, do not buy an iPhone until Steve Jobs opens his beautiful brilliant mouth at the Apple conference in early September. When the post-turtleneckian dust settles, we'll have a clearer picture of whether or not this rumored new iPhone is worth the money. And then we can talk about--well, whether or not you should buy an iPhone now, or wait until the next one comes out.

Apple has two prototypes out testing now. One is a thinner totally redesigned case. The problem with it is that Foxconn can't seem to build it. Hence the delay. The other prototype uses the existing case, but with updated (read dual core) internals. If they can get production up by September the first phone will be released and will be the iPhone 5. If they cannot, then the second prototype will be released as the iPhone 4GS.

My music is stored on iCloud and when I'm playing a playlist, it'll only play the track I choose and won't go on to the next one, it just repeats the one I selected. Any ideas please?

How to compare each item in a Stack with the next one??

I am trying to compare each string value with the next one in a stack.
I think I am doing something wrong when I store the poped string in a temp?
Object is:
-----to read in a stack and compare each element. We are looking for an "adj" next to a" NP*".
-----if we find a "adj" next to a "NP*" then we need to remove the "adj" and push the "NP*" on a new stack.
-----if we find something other than an "adj" next to a "NP*" then we just need to push that item on the new stack
we continue through the stack until it is empty.
-----once we have checked the entire stack for "adj" next to "NP*" and changed them all, we need to send the new stack back to the method for another test.
-----this time we are looking for a "det" next to a "NP*"
-----if we find
---------remove the "det" and change the "NP*" to "NP"
there are more test after that one but, if I can get here I think I can get through the rest.
In all this is a grammar checking program, checking for correct english.

This code is different from yours. For one thing, the first part, where inOrder is false, is not included because you did not post what behavior that is supposed to perform. The code below does what you posted...it puts some Strings into a Stack, then parses the Stack. If adj is followed by NP* then adj is removed. Then the new Stack is parsed to find det followed by NP*, and det is removed while NP* is changed to NP.

Nano plays 30 seconds of a song then goes to the next one

My ipod nano plays about 30 seconds of a song then goes to the next one. It is very frustrating. Any answers?

Does this happen with every track you try to play or only certain ones? Does it happen to these same tracks in iTunes?
Make sure the Shake to Shuffle feature has not been turned on it Settings -> Music.

Real Tilde Symbol on Macbook13 is missing Can only find the superscript one

I recently looked up where to find the true Tilde sign (that's the wavy line symbol) since the one I can see on upper case of the key next to the Z on the keyboard makes the wrong one. I tried it and it made a straight line with right-angled symbol. Wrong one for the Tilde.
OK so the next thing I tried was Alt +N key and that gave a superscript Tilde still not the right type. That one was designed to go over the top of a letter so it highlights with an orange bar to show it's superscript.
The reason I know it's wrong is because I tried using Alt+N in a password that I use to get onto a site where I do online purchases and it wouldn't accept it.
I have a password that contains about four symbols with letters and numbers and the symbols require a Tilde and a # sign. The password was rejected and the only way I could get it to log me in was if I copy pasted the password using a Tilde from Microsoft Word's Symbols list, ported to my Macbook from my PC in a simple .doc file and then it worked.
I'm gobsmacked' that the Mac system hides away or even doesn't have a proper Tilde sign.
I went into the System preferences and checked out my English Flagged Keyboard layout and showed the Keyboard layout menu on screen. I tried every combination of every Alt and Shift and Cmd key with that list and nowhere is there a proper Tilde. In the end I gave up and changed my password to one that doesn't contain this key which has been so frustrating not being able to use one on the mac.
Is it hiding somewhere? Where have they buried it and does anyone know why?

I didn't get the British Layout anywhere - it was on my Macbook 13 purchased new in the UK.
It is really impossible for a totally new Mac to have those layouts included, which are special add-ons which some people install for PC keyboards, or because they want a PC layout. Something is not right there. You should ask the place where you bought that machine how your OS could have had foreign stuff added to it like that and maybe express concern about whether it was really "new."
I've been to the Layouts and note that there is a British Layout with a ghosted tick in the box that can't be removed.
That is how it should be.
There's two other British Layouts one showing in Brackets (PC 105) and the next one down is British (PC 105 Alt) it will allow me to tick either of those two latter ones but when I untick them the ghosted British one still won't allow me to Tick it.
It doesn't matter, just untick those two PC layouts. Or you can check the box for Show Input Menu in Finder, so you can use the "flag" menu at the top right of the Finder to switch to plain British.
Anyhow as you see from another of my replies here I've found the result but imagine my frustration
I can certainly understand your frustration -- those non-Apple layouts cannot fit your keyboard and should never have been put on your machine, and no one trying to help would ever imagine that they could be on your machine without you putting them there either.

My photos will not shuffle or go to the next one unless I do it manually

I have many photos in my ipod, however I have to manually hit the arrow key to go to the next one. It is set up for 3 seconds and shuffle is on. What am I doing wrong?

So if you press play, it wont go to the slideshow? Select a photo and press play. It should start the slideshow sequence. Make check your slideshow settings to. Make sure everything is as it should for slideshow mode.

Try tapping the "esc" key on your keyboard and see if that helps.
Try pressing command + Q on the keyboard to see if iPhoto will quit.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
