Missing 'check special tags vi' version 7

I have a a program written in labview 7 which out of the blue has stopped working. An error code now comes up saying it cant find 'check special tags.vi'. and so the program will now not run. I can't find any version of this sub vi for this version.
I have Labview versions 8 and 8.2 but the 'check special tags.vi' will not work in version 7. The problem I have is that I am not a programmer and the rest of the (very complicated) program is written in version 7. I do not have the time or experience to even know where to begin. Can anyone help me trace this sub vi?

The NA-QCM-VISA is the program that runs in labview 8.0 and collects data writing to a file.
The 3 QCM fit program is the program that converts the data and saves to a file that can be opened by Excell.
Before the problem with the missing sub vi the program would write to a file ( eg 1650.dat file - attached) which opens succesfully with the QCM fit program
The PVOH file is a file from the collection program since the sub vi was fixed - and will not run on the conversion program.
However since fixing the file from the collection of data saves but does not open up.

I feel like I'm getting close to finally get a live stream to work correctly in 4.5
I can see the streams being recorded in the following directories
     C:\FMSHOME\applications\livepkgr\streams\_definst_\liveevent1

Each directory contains five files: bootstrap ,control, meta, f4f, and f4x.

As per your questions -
1. "I try to access the stream using the local player at http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m" - This should be http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/liveevent.f4m.
     The name of the f4m is the name of the event you are referring to. In your case, the live event - liveevent is associated with all your three livestreams- namely livestream1, livestream2. livestream3.
2. "Do I need to create BOTH a 'manifest.xml' and a 'event.xml'? And do both of these files need to be in the event directory like below?" - Yes. If you are using mbr you need both these files at the exact place you mnetioned.
For simple single bitrate streams, mainfest.xml file is optional.
3. "If I need to manually create a manifest.xml file would this file and directory be correct?" - Yes, you are right on track. Create the file Manifest.xml and place it inside events directory at the place you mentioned.
4. "Do I need to use a absolute url in the streamid field in manifest.xml to resolve the error msg 'The F4M document contains errors URL missing from Media tag'?" - No. This is not needed. StreamId is not the content path, that is taken care of by the url path in the output manifest. You streamIds will be - livestream1, livestream2, livestream3.
After all this, I would suggest you to check one more thing. If you are publishing the way you mentioned above, there would be '.stream' files (For eg - 'MTYxMjAzMzAzMg=.stream' ) created in your events folder - "C:\FMSHOME\applications\livepkgr\events\_definst_\liveevent\". You should check that there are 3 and only three files formed. It somehow happens that when you publish and republish again without deleting these files, FMS creates multiple copies and tries to map each one to the actual content written at - C:\FMSHOME\applications\livepkgr\streams\_definst_\livestream1\ etc.. So there should be three files and each one should point to one of the streams directory. If there are more, please delete these files, delete your hds streaming content (if possible) and republish again the same way.
This should solve your problem. If still you are facing some issues, do let us know.

Unable to Deploy WAR file (Unknown assembly root-tag attribute: version)

Hello,
I created a simple web application with eclipse + tomcat plugin + struts2 (JPA Spring Hibernate ) and created the WAR file using the tomcat plugin compiler. When I deploy the war file into Tomcat 6 the file is deployed properly and i can view the website properly. But when I try to deploy the the WAR file from Oracle 9i Application Server I get the following error.
Failed to deploy web application "mytest". During the initial upload the previous error doesn't show anymore, however, I'm getting this new error and currently I'm a bit at a loss since i included the spring.jar library file in my war file. I tried the new war file in Tomcat and the war file deploys fine. Am I missing a configuration or setup ?

Missing check box & Red, Green minimise buttons

hey all ,
After upgrading my Macbook Pro to the latest version my "red green amber buttons " are missing along with all checkbox's and borders to all system buttons.
I thought this look pretty cool at first and thought it was part of the new system, however i soon noticed I couldn't see any checkboxes or borders on buttons and now it's a massive pain. (13-inch, Mid 2009 2.53 for 2 duo)
any sugestions ?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

I am trying to stream a live video from Adobe Media Server. I am sending a video to the server from Adobe Flash Media Encoder 3.2. On Adobe Media Server I open the sample video player (videoplayer.html) in a browser. In the STREAM URL field I put: http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/ liveevent.f4m. When I click the PLAY STREAM button I get the error message: URL missing from Media tag. What do I need to do?

What is the stream name that you are publishing from FMLE? If it's "livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent" then the url should be http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m .

Deleted a free version of PDF Max after purchasing the pro version. That resulted in missing data on the pro version too. Please help

Last week, I purchased the pro version of PDF Max and today deleted the free version since I am not using it anymore.
I don't what happened or how, this also resulted in missing data on the pro version. I created loads of annotations and notes using the pro version. Now, all that's missing. I am using the word "missing" because I think the data (notes and annotations) is still there but its just not showing up in the app. Since, the size of the app did not change. It still is 1.24gb on iTunes. Can you guys please help me recover or should I say figure out a way to display the files on the app? Pretty please!

I'm not familiar with the specific app, but generally speaking if the free and paid versions of an app are separate (i.e. not an in app purchase), what you are seeing will be the case. the only resolution I know of is if the vendor provides an account and stores the data online, or it integrates with something like DropBox. If not, once the old version is deleted, the data is pretty much gone.

I don't understand the question... Did something happen that you think should not have happened?
It took such a long time to sync, because iTunes was converting songs with bit-rate higher than 128 kbps "on the fly" while syncing. That takes much longer than just syncing the songs.
Also, since you have so much space on your iPod (compared to the size of your music library), you should not use that "convert to 128 kbps AAC" setting. For songs that are encoded higher than 128 kbps, the conversion reduces sound quality. You may want to uncheck Sync Music and Apply, to remove the songs on the iPod currently, and then sync it all again without the "convert" setting checked this time.

Try using Firefox. Flash usually works on Firefox when it won't on Safari. I noticed that the Safari does not show the same version as Firefox does. Iwonder if that could be the problem. Safari on the left shows 10.1, Firefox show 10.3

I'm rather new JSP, and I'm looking for a solution to a certain problem.
If we have a certain software on a user's computer, and we would like the user to be able to check for updates to that software using the website (e.g. a "check for updates" button, similar to windows update), is it possible to do this using JSP?
I know that when using ASP or ASP.Net, it's possible to use activeX to do this (though i'm not so sure), and I would like to be able to do something like that.

Consider using java web start. The swing application would be stored as a jar within a web application. A link in a html page inside the web application would launch the swing application on the user's desktop. It removes the nightmares of versioning ( the code is built and distributed at a single point ). Java web start supports caching the application on the user's desktop, checking for tha latest version of the jar hosted on the web and so on. 'Neat' is too little a word for it :)

It seems to me that it is a configuration issue, but I have no clue.
I compared above manifest with a sample manifest that I found on Adobe's site, the attributes are same but the structure is not. Maybe that is causing OSMF to fail.

I have Common output parameters > Stream Name configuration on my Live Transcoder and I write the following:
livestream%i?adbe-live-event=liveevent&adbe-http-streaming-ver=1.0
Then Admin Console > View Apps > Live Log includes the following:
Stream name is: livestream%i1 and live event is: liveevent
Stream name is: livestream%i2 and live event is: liveevent
Stream name is: livestream%i3 and live event is: liveevent
As you say, it seems %i above causes the problem, but how to fix it?
My f4m includes the bitrates:

To be sure i always have the latest and most-updated recent maps, i would like to update Nokia Maps every once in a while. Where can i update my maps or check for the latest version?
I now have version v2.0 wk39 b04.

this is usually a good place to start. now maps 3.0 final beta has been released for the fp1 fp2 and v5th phones so yours might be there too. i can't tell you as you did not list your phone but this site should clear it all up for you.
