Hi,
In transaction SU3, user profile , check the default format of the date you have given. Change it as you require. Save your profile. Log off and log on.. Now you will see the date records in the saved format.

AME CS6 even with the update 6.01 is still missing formats such as Quicktime, all of the image sequnce formats(png, jpg, tga, etc), Mpegs the list just goes on.
I have CS6 Master collection full installed
Quicktime x
FCP 7 pro with suite
Avid MC6
and all the codecs a proffesional editor would need.
I have already re installed CS6 3x (nothing changed so if anyone suggest a re install i will just assume you are stupid and cant read english)
AE and Pr both give me all the formats including, Quicktime, all of the image sequnce formats(png, jpg, tga, etc), Mpegs.
I have checked the contents of AME which has all of the required import and export bundles associated with these formats but the programs still refuses to give them as options.
Spending the last few days trying to find a solution and all i can find is typical basic level support from adobe and other sources
Yes adobe my computer is plugged in.
yes adobe MY MAC DOES IN FACT HAVE QUICKTIME.
yes adobe i did spend a hefty chunk of change for a Creative suite that has more issues out the box than i would care to waste my time detailing them all.
My questions is Adobe
Do you know what is causing this issue?
Do you have a solution to this issue?
If so is it in the form of an update or at least instructions on how a user can fix your issue?
update 6.01 is not a solution if you were going to suggest that. ( i have applied this update each time with re install of MC CS6)See this similar thread...
Not sure this workaround will help in your case, but you may want to try replacing the following file in the AME CS6 package bundle with one from another Mac that doesn't have the problem:
/Applications/Adobe Media Encoder CS6/Adobe Media Encoder CS6.app/Contents/Resources/txt/AddExporterList.txt
If you don't have another Mac system with CS6 installed just email me and I'll send you a copy from mine. If this doesn't help we might need to do some spelunking to track down what's going wrong with your configuration... -
Missing Format Text, Insert, and Edit Source, etc Options on Some Pages
I’m having trouble understanding why certain pages have more edit options than others. I’m new to Sharepoint Workspace 2010 and I’ve been reading/ researching for answers for 2 days now. I tried to HyperSnap in some pictures however it will not allow me
to until my account is verified and it's not sending a verification email, sorry!
Issue:
On some pages, I have the edit pencil with lots of great edit options such as Format Text, Insert and Edit Source. (This is good!)
On some pages I have no edit pencil, but when I go to Page
à Edit Page à I get few edit options, not including Format Text, Insert or Edit Source. (This is not good)
After reading other somewhat similar posts, I noticed that on the pages where I get lots of edit options, they show SitePages in the URL. Where I get few edit options, SitePages is not in the URL.
Is there a fix so that I can have the expanded edit options in all of my pages? Thank you for your help!Hi,
In SharePoint we don’t have edit page options [ribbon toolbar page edit formatting options] for all types of page for application page we cannot edit application page like site pages
again the missing edit button might be due to many causes:
Can you verify that it's not a permissions issue? Try navigating to the page in edit mode by appending to the url: your-site/Pages/YourPage.aspx?ControlMode=Edit&DisplayMode=Design
Or you can try this
your-site/Pages/YourPage.aspx? ?ToolPaneView=2
1. You can check that on some pages the ribbon is hidden by default. You need to make it visible by clicking on "Show Ribbon" on the "Site Actions" drop-down menu.
2. You haven't been doing Visual Upgrade (which actually replaces your master page with the v4.master)
3. If you have different master page and may be your master page is not 100% compatibile with SP2010, nor does it use the elements from v4.master (collaboration) or the example nightandday.master
To add the button in your page you could use the <SharePoint:PageStateActionButton id="PageStateActionButton" runat="server" Visible="false" /> (if you've seen already that would generate the button on the left side of
the ribbon)!
Please can you ping the URL of the page and how you crated that page to further assist, we would be happy to help.

Adobe Media Encoder CS4 - missing formats
Hi
I wonder if anyone can help me with this. I have the Adobe Media Encoder as part of Web Premium CS4. In the Format menu there are only two formats showing FLV and F4V. I have seen additional formats on other computers and don't know why they are missing from my copy.
Anyone any ideas or tips on how to install them. I am running Windows Vista.
Thanks
GeorgeBHi Jerron
Thanks for getting back to me.
I suspected that may be the reason. I have downloaded the latest update but that didn't add any additional format.
No matter.
Thanks anyway..
George -
After converting the reports 6i to 10g, all the format are missing in the output.
We have horizontal line, vertical line and column header line in all the reports. But in report 10g output displays with out any horizontal or vertical line. This line formats are very important in few reports like purchase order, sale order prints.
I am using RP2RRO library.
Any solution.I am using HTML.
PDF output displays it correctly but orientation is changed. In the report orientation is Landscape. Even in reports 6i, it was perfect. But in 10g desformat as pdf, the orientation is changed to pdf. -
FF 6 "Page Setup" missing "Format & Options" and "Margins & Header/Footer" tabs
Running 6.0.1 or 6.0.2 on FreeBSD 8.2-STABLE when I select File->Page Setup the standard popup window no longer has tabs for "Format & Options" and "Margins & Header/Footer" that I see on Windows XP when running 6.0.2 - this would be okay were it not for the fact that printing (using CUPS on FreeBSD) no longer prints the headers and footers (which I see just fine when I do Print Preview) something in FF 6.x has regressed and is affecting Page Setup.
Yep, this I know. And have long since done this (probably before FireFox was called Mozilla). In fact my margins are set the way I want them (and have been unchanged for years - at least since 2006). That was the first thing I checked.
The fact is ever since I upgrated to 6.01 from 5.x (which was a few weeks ago) my printing from FF6 has not included the footers and headers. As I've said, I can see my footers and headers when I perform Print Preview, but they do not appear on the printed page(s), I truly believe this is changed behaviour due to the upgrade to FF6. Next week I will try a screen capture of my Print Preview to include an image for the "Add images:" feature when posting a reply, but I don't know how to show the physical printed page lacking those same headers and footers short of shooting a photograph with a macro lens and including that as an image. Therefore for now, you will just have to take my word for the fact of missing footers and headers. Also, next week I would be able to post here my about:config settings for the margin preferences which I assure you have remained unchanged for several years. FWIW, printing from Opera 11.11 to the same printer from the same workstation where FF6 is running does include my footers and headers. To my thinking this fairly much puts the blame for this problem on FF6. Thanks. -
Media Encoder CS5 Missing formats?
I only see the following formats available for export: FLV, H.264, MPEG2, MPEG2 - DVD, and MPEG2 Bluray. I'm running WIN7 x64 and have the entire master collection installed. Why do I not see AVI, quicktime, etc?? I used to have many formats when I was using CS4.
I have these installed:

Missing format choice screen during installation
Trying to install Windows through Boot Camp on my iMac. All seems to go OK as per instructions except that after the screen to choose the partition for Windows, the installation presses immediately ahead, skipping the screen which should (according to the instructions) give an option to format in either FAT or NTFS. By the skipping of this screen I end up with a non-bootable installation of Windows, as it is this formatting option that installs the "booting bits" of the Windows system. Have tried several times but always the same thing happens. Any ideas please?
Are you trying to install Windows 7? This happens i think in part because of boot camp. Find my triple boot instructions for the files to transfer to the Win partition. Also remember you need to use the option key or refit.

I removed firefox from my computer and reinstalled. It is still doing the same thing. I cleared my cach. Nothing is working.

PDF printer: missing functionality
My print shop denied to print my documents since I use a MAC. Reasons:
1. No CMYK mode
2. No embeded Fonts
3. Missing Format on A4 + 2 mm
4. Transparencies in the document
My solution, that isn't a real solution:
Transfer the Pages08 file as Word Doc, use free PDF995 to fix all the problems (CMYK, embeding, format and transparencies). That's an easy way.
Please let me know, how I can solve the mentioned problems with my Mac on a way that is less easier. Who can help without buying a 1.000 US$-Solution?
By the way - having fun: Use all your time to work as admin, writing tons of posts to solve Mac problems and get allways complicated answers. Not in the PC way: "Just use the software xy and that's it". If you use a Mac - you are a "post" publisher in the Apple forum. 8-("Barbara Brundage wrote:
Well, I apologize if this is too complicated, but, in Pages, why not just go to Print>PDF>Save as PDF-X?
"That's exactly what I mean. Then the Mac creates a PDF in RGB mode, not CMYK. In the other hand you have no chance in this "save as" option to rezise the format. For example plus 2 mm to operate this pdf in the printing plant."
Harry,
This is not an ideal way to explain PDF/X-3, but whatever.
Briefly, it is irrelevant whether photographic objects in the pagination are in the CIELab colourant model, in the RGB colourant model, or in the CMYK colourant model.
What does matter is that the photographic objects in the pagination have their source ICC profiles embedded correctly, so the colours that should be formed by those colourants are defined.
The source profiles are bidirectional, that is, when they serve as source profiles they map from the colourants to the colour connection space.
What also matters is that the ICC profile for the intended printing condition is the correct ICC profile, and that by definition it is bidirectional.
The source profiles will tell the simulation profile for the intended printing condition what colours they expect reproduced.
The simulation profile for the intended printing condition will say, "OK, some of these colours I can reproduce, some I cannot reproduce, so I will remap them while maintaining colour contrasts."
When the simulation profile for the intended printing condition has figured out what colours should be formed, it does two things :
1. The simulation profile reports the colours back to the colour connection space where those colours are picked up by the ICC profiles for the desktop display and the deskside proofer,
2. The simulation profile at the same time calculates the colourants with the correct black generation and ink limit to be laid down on the paper for the intended printing condition.
In other words, as John Gnaegy says, "ColorSync is an RGB peg in a CMYK hole" since you do not have to hard convert unless and until you want to - and as the OutputIntent is embedded in the PDF pagination, there is no doubt whatsoever what colourant separation you want. Whether the colourant separation is hard converted by you or by the printer is not important as the result is the same.
Best,
Henrik -
Many websites - including all Blogger blogs - lose formatting when loaded.
All Blogger-based websites load w/out formatting - looks like I get the straight HTML sans CSS. Now more and more other websites are also loading with missing formatting... this happens to me with Amazon.com, United.com and others.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox once already and it didn't help. I've uninstalled and reinstalled my add-ons and that didn't help. I've now started using Chrome because it doesn't ever give me this problem, but I like Firefox and would like to keep with it (hence the request for help).First of all, a couple of links.
For Google American English, use http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0&hl=en
For Google UK, use http://www.google.co.uk/webhp?complete=0&hl=en
To reset the location bar search, do the following.
* In the location bar, type '''about:config''' and hit Enter.
* In the filter at the top, type: '''keyword.URL'''
* Double click it and remove whatever's in there and replace it with http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0&hl=en
The URL to add in "keyword.URL" becomes a link in this post, so right click it and choose "Copy Link Location" to copy it to the Windows clipboard. Then hit CTRL+V to paste it. Saves you having to type the whole thing.
'''To reset your home page, do the following'''.
* Go to the site you want to set as your homepage.
* Click the orange Firefox button and go to '''Options '''| '''Options '''| '''General''' (Firefox 4.0.x and above).
* Go to '''Tools '''| '''Options '''| '''General''' (Previous version of Firefox).
* Make sure it says "''Show My Homepage''" in the first dropdown menu.
* Click the button called "'''Use Current Pages'''" to set the homepage to the one you have on the screen.
After you complete the above steps, install this add-on to prevent another search engine from modifying your preferences: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/browserprotect/
You also asked about disabling Plugins. To accomplish that task, click the Firefox button, go to Add-ons | Plugins and then disable those you don't want.
In FF 3.6.x, go to Tools | Add-ons | Plugins.
Please check to make sure your plugins are up to date via the [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ Plugins Check] page.
