Missing "Games" Category in App Store!
Hello folks! For some reason when I click on "categories" in the app store on my iPad (3rd gen) I don't get the games category anymore. Has anyone run into this issue before? I'm using the Canadian store.
I came here since I was having issues with genius in the app store and saw this thread. I'm on an iPad 2, I went and checked, games cat. was not where it's supposed to be. If my memory serves me, categories page is listed in alphabetical order. Right now it's not, cause I found the games category at the beginning! Please recheck, I'll be keeping an eye on this post.

I have the IPAD 2 and from the very first setup the Games category in app store is missing. Even if I try to execute a game from the web (safari) it automatically opens app store and gives me a message that it cannot be downloaded.
Apple support team r nice people but completely useless!! They couldn't support nor help troubleshoot my prOblem.
Any suggestions or thoughts on this weird one?

I'm in Qatar in the middle East and computer iTunes also say so.
Other iPads in the country do not have this problem. In all cases I can change my location to either USA or Lebanon.
Is the location of the apple Id or is it hardware manufactured for a specific region?

I'm from Costa Rica and I can't find the game category in App Store
I want to buy new games in App Store for my mac devices but in the Costa Rican App Store there are no games, or at least there are not "games"category

Are you going to Categories? If so, (and I don't know why) they are no longer in alphabetical order. On my iPad screen, the game category is the first category in the list.

Go to settings, iTunes & App Store, tap on your ID, sign out, then sign in with your new information. You cannot delete an old ID, you just stop using it.

Hello, how are you? On September 13 I bought an iPad and in October bought a game on the app store problem is that when informed the card number dropped normally, but then went on to ask for a new form of payment because one had given any errors, and so not lowered any other game and not upgraded the already downloaded. I do not know what exactly I have to do, because if informed a new payment method continues with the same problem, checked the card bill and really had given an error, because there was no billed the game. I ask you to verify what happened and explain to me what I need to do, because my single card is Visa's and do not intend to return others to use the services of the App Store.

2. Check security code
3. Billing Address must be the same as credit card

So, either redeem an iTunes gift card or use a credit card.
