Missing  Imports System.Xml.Schema in MDKSAPProxy.vb

I have recently switched computers and I "believe" I have setup my SAP.NET connector 2.0 properly, but, when I generate my proxy the proxy file is missing the line <b>Imports System.Xml.Schema</b> as well as <b>Form:= XmlSchemaForm.Unqualified</b> from almost all XML declarations.
This creates problems with BPAIs not being able to execute.  My old system is fine, and I did a compare and so far I'm not able to find why this is the case.  Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi Tomasz,
how are you doing ?
the dependacies that most likely are the cause of your affliction are :-
1> librfc32.dll (this is in (\windows\system32) can be updated by SAPGUI, so the versioning if you use a previous release of SAPGUI could give unpredictable results while generating proxies
2> JRE / J2SDK, please check the version you are running
a stable one i use is 1.4.2_12
do you receive a error message ?
i would recommend time to be spent re-installing the Connector, which should be simpler than debugging and fixing the installation
let me know if you need a stable version dependancy list and order of installation from my side
also tell me as much as you know about your current environment , products installed that could affect :
1> JRE / J2SDK
2> NCo
3> SAP GUI
with respect,
amit

  • Problems importing an XML Schema

    Hello,
    I am trying to import an XML schema using the MDM Console.
    In the Console Hierarchy tree I right-click on the MDM repository into
    which I want to import the XML schema and choose Import
    Repository Schema from the context menu and finally I choose a simple XML file.
    Then an message appears: "MDS Version mismaths. Upgrade the source repository to the latest version and import the original schema again"
    I use the SAP MDM Console for Windows, version 5.5 SP4. There is another way to import an schema in my repository? This Console version really doesn't support it?
    Thank you.
    Could I import my Schema of my repository using MDM Import manager?

    Hi Marta,
    MDM Console will not update the schema.If you select an xml schema in the import manager and try to specify an xml file with different structure,Then it will give you error and will not allow you to import.
    You define xml schema into MDM console so that u can import data into MDM repository from the xml file or files having same structure as defined into xml schema table of repository.
    The XML Schema drop-down list in Import manager includes an entry for each XML schema you define in the MDM Console. For each XML Schema defined in the console, you can select multiple XML source files, each having the same structure.
    Hope it will help you.Let me know the result and further queries if any.
    <b>
    Please remark if it helped you.</b>

  • How to import multiple XML schemas in Toplink.

    Hi All,
    I try to import multiple Schema(defined by EPCGlobal) in toplink This schema imports few other schemas and all are available in the same location.
    For this I tried to create a project by selecting XML radio button, and specified an XSD. The classes are getting generated for this file. After this, I try to import all other schema's using the Import schema option. I'm able to import it. but, I'm not able to generate classes for the schemas imported recently. Can you please let me know whether this is the expected behaviour..?

    As I'm struck with this problem, please throw some light in this regard.
    Thanks
    Rajasekaran

    Rajasekaran,
    I have examined your XML schemas and do not believe that the problem is due to the import. Instead it is because the XML schema being imported is itself invalid. I have emailed you the specific correction to your XML schema. It was an error related to the namespace qualification of the type in one of your element declarations.

  • Error importing AWM XML Schema in OWB repository

    Hi, as you suggest me I downloaded the OWB expert "AW XML Import Expert" on this page:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/warehouse/htdocs/OWBexchange.html?cat=ALP&submit=search
    I correctly installed it on OWB, I created a module linking to the GLOBAL sample location with the tables, but when I try to import an AWM XML file (for example PRICE_CUBE.xml) I get this error:
    EXP00008: error during expert execution:
    java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: OLAP METADATA
    while executing
    "$saxparser parse $parserInput"
    invoked from within
    And so with any other dimension or cube file exported from Global Sample in AWM.
    Also using IE8 and Firefox 3 I can't open this file, and in IE I get
    System: -2146697211. Error during elaboration of resource "OLAP METADATA". Error during the elaboration...
    %BIND_VALUES;
    Is there a problem in the XML? Or in my procedure?

    Hello, all the errors you've been given are related to missing objects.
    You should re-create/import the location for you process flows before importing the process flows themselves.
    Also verify that you have imported the procedures FLSTG.PROC_GET_ETL_DATA_DATE and FL_TRG_FLSTG.PROC_UPDATE_RECO_CTL because you use them in your process flows so you need them: OWB refuses to import a process flows if some objects are missing because it would break some links.
    In general process flows should be imported where you have all the other objects in the repository because they are the final step and they reference many other objects.
    Hope this helps - Antonio

  • Resolve xml namespace while importing xml schema

    Hi All,
    I am using ALSB 2.6 on windows platform. I have created a xml schema resource in a project folder. XML schema resource location is "/ANUP/TEST/SCHEMA". The target namespace for this schema is "http://test/schema/audit/properties.xsd". The XML schema file name is Properties.xsd.
    I want to import this schema structure into an xquery which is the in project folder "/ANUP/TEST". My statement in xquery is:
    xquery version "1.0";
    import schema namespace ns6="http://test/schema/audit/properties.xsd" at "/ANUP/TEST/SCHEMA/Properties.xsd";
    declare function getCustomer() as element(ns6:dummyParent){
    let $anup := "anup"
    return <ns6:dummyParent>
    <ns6:dummy1>anup</ns6:dummy1>
    <ns6:dummy2>tripathi</ns6:dummy2 >
    <ns6:dummy3>anup</ns6:dummy3>
    </ns6:dummyParent>
    getCustomer()
    When I try to save this xquery, I get the error ::
    An error occurred compiling the XQuery resource: line ##, column ##: {err}FODC0002: Error retrieving resource "/ANUP/TEST/SCHEMA/Properties.xsd": {1}.
    I tried to change the values instead of "/ANUP/TEST/SCHEMA/Properties.xsd" in import schema namespace statement and found out that if I put Properties.xsd in "C:\ANUP\TEST\SCHEMA", it works.
    Can somebody tell me how can I change this clause after "at" keyword so that I can browse to the XMl schema which has been imported into ALSB and part of project folder?
    Thanks:
    Anup

    I have the same is issue in Oracle OSB 11g. Does anyone have any idea how to import an xml-schema inside an XQuery, when the schema is present in the OSB-project (and not on filesystem or hosted on some URL).
    import schema namespace ns="http://someNamespace.com" at "/path/to/schema/in/OSB/schema.xsd";
    The above format gives the error "An error occurred compiling the XQuery resource: line ##, column ##: {err}FODC0002: Error retrieving resource"

  • XML Schema validation error in network configuration. Missing DnsRef

    When ever we try to make changes to a Virtual network we receive
    XML Schema validation
    error in network configuration. Missing DnsRef
    We can't make any changes to the Virtual network.
    The DNS ref exists as well.
    Considering exporting network config and re-importing however we have a lot of networks configured and want to be sure this is the correct way to proceed.
    Any feedback much appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    We are having the same problem, so you are not alone.
    I had an extensive call with Azure premium support and we where able to determine that:
    - Nothing is missing or in the wrong place in my exported .xml file.
    - Any changes to the VNET's using the web gui interface of https://manage.windowsazure.com is not possible when you have dns servers and use an gateway
    - You can download the .xml configuration file of the network and make manual changes to it, then import it again , to add/remove dns servers and or subnet's.
    I am currently waiting for an solution,  i have let them lower the urgency from A to B (because i can make changes trough xml) and responded to the next support contact (saying he will continue with the issue) that the problems seems to be with azure and
    he should speak with the previous person helping me.  I have not heard from Azure support since.

    I hope microsoft is going to resolve this soon, as i do not want to edit my xml for little things like adding a subnet all the time. I have requested an status update in the issue.

  • Synchonous webservice call is missing xml schema information

    Hello,
    We migrated an interface to a new PI server. All repository objects were exported and imported. The interfaces is working fine on old PI environment but on new environment we get an error:
    From an Integration Process we do a call to a synchronous webservice via a soap receiver communication channel.
    In the old envrionment we get response back with right message content and:
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    In the new environment we get response back with right message content but without:
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    The first message mapping needs this XMLSchema information and throws an error:
    RuntimeException
    during appliction Java mapping
    com/sap/xi/tf/_______
    Thrown:
    com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException: The prefix
    "xsi" for attribute "xsi:type" associated with an element
    type "ns0:responseOut" is not bound.
    I expect this error is thrown because this XMLSchema information is missing in webservice response:
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    Does anybody know why this information could be missing?
    I also used SOAP UI from the new PI server to call same synchronous webservice and then I do get this XML Schema information back.
    Many thanks for your help!

  • Can't import XML schema with ref to external namespace

    In TopLink 10.1.3 Dev Preview 3 (build 041116), I have 2 simple schema files. One defines an element as a ref to an element in the other schema, so the ref points to an element in an external namespace. TopLink won't import this schema.
    First schema, imports fine:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xs:schema
       xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
       targetNamespace="http://www.oracle.com/employee"
       xmlns="http://www.oracle.com/employee"
       elementFormDefault="qualified"
       attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
         <xs:element name="employee">
           <xs:complexType>
             <xs:sequence>
                    <xs:element name="name" type="xs:string"/>
             </xs:sequence>
           </xs:complexType>
         </xs:element>
    </xs:schema>
    Second schema, fails import with "ERROR: null. Please check to ensure the document conforms to the XML Schema specification and try again":
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xs:schema
       xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
       targetNamespace="http://www.oracle.com/department"
       xmlns="http://www.oracle.com/department"
       xmlns:employee="http://www.oracle.com/employee"
       elementFormDefault="qualified"
       attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
       <xs:import
         namespace="http://www.oracle.com/employee"
             schemaLocation="employee.xsd"/>
       <xs:element name="department">
         <xs:complexType>
           <xs:sequence>
             <xs:element ref="employee:employee"         maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
           </xs:sequence>
         </xs:complexType>
       </xs:element>
    </xs:schema>
    Both schemas are valid according to the W3C schema validation checker at http://www.w3.org/2001/03/webdata/xsv.
    I can work around the issue by putting the employee definitions into the department schema file so that all elements are in the same namespace. But I would like the schemas to be in separate files for better modularity and maintainability.
    Am I doing something wrong? I would really like to be able to use references to external namespaces in my element definitions.
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hello David,
    Apologies, but this is a bug in DP3 with respect to references to elements in imported namespaces. This has been fixed in current code, but until you get that, there are a couple ways to work around it:
    ==========================================================
    1) Use an include rather than an import.
    department.xsd
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xs:schema
        targetNamespace="http://www.oracle.com/department"
        xmlns="http://www.oracle.com/department"
        xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
        elementFormDefault="qualified"
        attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
       <xs:include schemaLocation="employee.xsd"/>
       <xs:element name="department">
          <xs:complexType>
             <xs:sequence>
                <xs:element ref="employee" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
             </xs:sequence>
          </xs:complexType>
       </xs:element>
    </xs:schema>employee.xsd
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xs:schema
        xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
        targetNamespace="http://www.oracle.com/department"
        xmlns="http://www.oracle.com/department"
        elementFormDefault="qualified"
        attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
       <xs:element name="employee">
          <xs:complexType>
             <xs:sequence>
                <xs:element name="name" type="xs:string"/>
             </xs:sequence>
          </xs:complexType>
       </xs:element>
    </xs:schema>You should only have to import the parent schema (i.e. department.xsd), as the included document will automatically be built in. Note that this works for imports as well, provided that there aren't nasty bugs blocking the process.
    ==========================================================
    2. Build everything into the same document
    department.xsd
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xs:schema
        targetNamespace="http://www.oracle.com/department"
        xmlns="http://www.oracle.com/department"
        xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
        elementFormDefault="qualified"
        attributeFormDefault="unqualified">
       <xs:element name="department">
          <xs:complexType>
             <xs:sequence>
                <xs:element ref="employee" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
             </xs:sequence>
          </xs:complexType>
       </xs:element>
       <xs:element name="employee">
          <xs:complexType>
             <xs:sequence>
                <xs:element name="name" type="xs:string"/>
             </xs:sequence>
          </xs:complexType>
       </xs:element>
    </xs:schema>Obviously, this one won't work quite as well in some cases.
    ==========================================================
    Until you can get to the latest code, I hope this helps some.

  • "Source file does not conform to XML Schema!" error at Import Server

    Dear SDN,
    When I run Import Server the import job stopped with the error "Source file does not conform to XML Schema!" in Log file. I used MDM SP05 Patch01 and HF1.
    Both of 2 Import Server have same problems. Of course it works in Import Manager.
    What do I have to check?
    Regards,
    Eric

    Hi Eric
    Just confirm this...
    One needs to load XML schema file in MDM and can be done by specifying this file in Port .
    Refer this link.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mdm550/helpdata/en/fa/69b20ae0ae4b158a3f6d025b3d3847/content.htm
    Just make sure that corresponding XSD file is specified in the port

  • Updated xml schema not reflected in Import Manager and Syndicator

    Hi all,
    We have a perfectly running MDM scenario using custom XML schema for import and syndication. I have now updated the schema by adding a couple of fields to the schema and uploaded the new schema to MDM using Console - Admin - XML Schemas, and we have added the same fields in the repository. However, when I open Import Manager or Syndicator the xml schema is not updated, it is still showing the old version without the new fields. The fields added to the repository show up just fine.
    I have searched around the forum and it suggests I actually have to re-create manually all mappings with the new schema?! I cannot believe this is really necessary and would mean massive amounts of work.
    I have tried to export old maps and create new map with new schema. Then the new fields show up, but when I import the previously exported map the old schema returns and the new fields disappear.
    Any help with this seemingly very odd behavior is very much appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Kenneth

    Hi Kenneth, Aamir
    the statement
    > Uploading the XML schema in Console is mainly a placeholder, it not not synced with Import Manager or Syndicator schema at runtime.
    is not completely true. You have to differentiate the MDM version and the tools:
    MDM 7.1 Import Manager: uses the actual XSD of MDM Console
    MDM 7.1 Syndicator: stores the XSD as part of the map and disregards the one in MDM Console
    MDM 5.5 Import Manager: stores the XSD as part of the map and disregards the one in MDM Console
    MDM 5.5 Syndicator: stores the XSD as part of the map and disregards the one in MDM Console
    Best regards

  • Problem with XML import MDM 7.1 - Can't generate Xml Schema

    Hi All,
    When I try to open an XML file using Import manager, I'm getting some errors, as detailed below. I mention that I'm using MDM 7.1.
    The first error I received was the following:
    "Can't open C:/Program files/SAP MDM 7.1/Import Manager/XSD.exe". I copied the file xsd.exe in the Import Manager folder, as suggest here:
    Re: Import Manager Error.
    Afterwards, I received a new error:
    "Can't generate Xml Schema for: C:/Program files/SAP MDM 7.1/Import Manager/filename.xml"
    If anyone has faced the same problem - and solved it -, could you please help me find the reason for this behaviour?
    Regards,
    Laura

    Hi Laura,
    The error message "Can't generate Xml Schema"  might be related to DTD. the XML file has a directive for loading DTD.
    MDM doesnot support DTDs.
    Remove the DTD line and make sure there is only one root element in the XML file and try again.
    Hope this helps,
    Bes t Regards,

  • Standard XML schema for Vendor data exchange between SAP and other system

    Is there a SAP standard way of XML schema that we exchange between SAP and other system? Please let me know.
    Thanks.

    See SAP Interface Repository (http://ifr.sap.com).
    My proposal is to leave old SAP connectors staff and use SAP Exchange Infrastructure. There is a support of industry XML standards in XI 3.0 like xCBL.

  • Unable to locate Spring NamespaceHandler for XML schema namespace

    I am not sure if this is the best practice approach but this is the problem I am ruining into. Below, I explain what I am doing:
    1) What I am doing:
    =============
    Based on the oracle incubator example (http://coherence.oracle.com/display/INCUBATOR/Processing+Pattern+Examples); I am running a server and submitting tasks through a proxy application that submits them to ProcessingPatternConfigurator; let's call my task processReport.
    a) my processReport is using spring and ibatis together, I created a utility static class to obtain a spring context and retrieves beans using the following lines ( see exhibit "A1 and A2" below).
    b) when my task calls the context and that spring loads, it is failing with the error show in exhibit "B".
    I suspect I am missing a lib? I googled the error and searched you site but could find a meaningful discussion on it. I guess my question is if this is not the best approach, how do I integrated with spring initializing beans and setting up ibatis framwork, providing beans and database access through Ibatis for each task ruining on the grid (processReport).
    thanks
    A1) processReport (submitted in the grid) uses this line
    AbstractXmlApplicationContext ctx = (AbstractXmlApplicationContext) AmrContextUtil.getInstance();
              System.out.println("Classpath loaded. Executing Report...");
              ReportProcessor repProcessor = (ReportProcessor) ctx.getBean("reportProcessor");
    A2) Here is the AmrContextUtil:
    import org.springframework.context.support.AbstractApplicationContext;
    import org.springframework.context.support.ClassPathXmlApplicationContext;
    public final class AmrContextUtil {
         private static AbstractApplicationContext ctx = null;
         public AmrContextUtil() {
              super();
         public final static synchronized AbstractApplicationContext getInstance(){
              if (ctx == null){
                   ctx = new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext("classpath:config/applicationContext.xml");
                   setCtx(ctx);
              return ctx;
         public final static synchronized AbstractApplicationContext getCtx() {
              return ctx;
         public final static synchronized void setCtx(AbstractApplicationContext ctx) {
              AmrContextUtil.ctx = ctx;
    B) Here is the error reported by the server:

    My guess is that something is broken in the configuration of the cacheServer and its not finding
    all of the dependencies that your process pattern application needs. Probably the best way
    to debug this stuff is to define a static main in your runnable task which will make the call
    to the run() method and invoke it as the main class using the identical settings (classpath,
    run directory) that you are using to launch the Coherence cache server.
