Missing Java class

Can anybody tell me what these exceptions mean and if there is anything I can do to resolve them ??
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.seagullsw.jwalk.JWalk.class
Caused by: java.io.IOException: open HTTP connection failed.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: null source
**These exceptions are listed in the java console after i attempt to hit the online ordering function of www.mmsmedical.com.**

It sounds like you are trying to run an applet and that it is attempting to load this JWalk class. Normally, this class would come from the same web site as the page that contains the applet.
Are you behind a firewall that is, perhaps, blocking Java applets?

  • Missing Java Classes in Oracle SQL Developer

    Hello,
    I'm pretty new to Oracle (As a DBA) and very new to Java. I just refreshed our training environment and after the refresh, noticed under the Java folder within Oracle SQL Devloper that the Java Classes were missing.
    Can someone tell me how I can repopulate these classes?
    Any information would be much appreciated.
    Thank you.

    Thank you K,
    The Java Classes are not present under the SYS user and I'm not sure how to get them back. They do exist within our production and development environments.

  • 1022 Data Component. Missing java class webdb/dataptl/JavaWrapper

    Hi All,
    I have enabled the data component beta feature in ias 1022 on NT (81711) and added this component to an application. On attempting to run the component (not as portlet) I get the error
    oracle.webdb.dataptl.JavaWrapper class cannot be loaded.
    On running (as SYS)
    select object_name from all_objects where object_name like '%/dataptl/%';
    I get
    OBJECT_NAME
    oracle/webdb/dataptl/Constants
    oracle/webdb/dataptl/Formatter
    oracle/webdb/dataptl/Token
    Has this class been ommited from the install or am I looking in the wrong place?
    Is there anymore documentation on Data components anywhere?
    Thanks
    Joel.

    Yep I have the same problem on mine too. Sure sounds like an interesting component - too bad it isn't working for me though! Seems like a JAR file is missing or something.

    From the JNI Specification: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/jni/spec/jniTOC.html
    =======
    FindClass
    jclass FindClass(JNIEnv *env, const char *name);
    This function loads a locally-defined class. It searches the directories and zip files specified by the CLASSPATH environment
    variable for the class with the specified name.
    LINKAGE:
    Index 6 in the JNIEnv interface function table.
    PARAMETERS:
    env: the JNI interface pointer.
    name: a fully-qualified class name (that is, a package name, delimited by /, followed by the class name).
    If the name begins with [ (the array signature character), it returns an array class.
    The string is encoded in modified UTF-8. ==============================
    So, to find the Conn class, you need to use:
    env->FindClass("mypackage/Conn");

  • Problem with cfobject calling java class

    hi there,
    i have a small java class that takes 2 arguments in
    (fileToRead & fileToWrite) and everything runs fine when i run
    the class from the command line...
    C:\>java csvParser fileToRead fileToWrite
    however when i try to instantiate the class via cfobject like
    so :
    <cfobject type="Java" action="create" class="csvParser"
    name="convert">
    <cfset convert.init(#tmpfile#, "text.xml")>
    it continuously throws the following error at me :
    Unable to find a constructor for class csvParser that accepts
    parameters of type ( java.lang.String, java.lang.String ).
    any ideas ast to what i may be missing here...startin to
    drive me batty.

    C:\>java csvParser fileToRead fileToWrite
    Suggests you passed arguments as args[0] and args[1] to the
    method
    public static void main(String[] args)
    <cfobject type="Java" action="create" class="csvParser"
    name="convert">
    <cfset convert.init(#tmpfile#, "text.xml")>
    Suggests the code for the class CSVParser has the following
    constructor definition:
    private String s1, s2;
    CSVParser (String s1, String s2) {
    this.s1=s1;
    this.s2=s2;
    This seems unlikely, in view of
    "everything runs fine when i run the class from the command
    line". One possibility is to convert the
    public static void main method into, for example, the public
    method
    doThemFiles(String s1, String s2), not forgetting to include
    the return-type in its signature. You could then run
    <cfobject type="Java" action="create" class="csvParser"
    name="convert">
    <cfset convert.doThemFiles("#tmpfile#", "text.xml")>

  • Than how can i get java class by using it's class file?

    Hi
    After compilation of a java program, it creates a class file.
    After getting class file suppose class file has been deleted.
    Than how can i get java class by using it's class file?
    Thanks in advance.

    get a decompiler and run your class file through it--I'll assume you want the source code back and that you are not trying to recover a missing class file by attempting to use the class file that is missing--if it's missing, then I've not a clue on how to get it back by using what is already missing.
    BTW: many of your compilers have source control--if it does, just restore your missing file.

  • Java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError while calling a java class from BPEL

    Hi,
    I'm calling a java class to convert JSON to XML using BPEL. I have imported all the necessary jar files in the project and compiling done successfully.
    But at runtime , i get the java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/sf/json/JSON error.
    For this i placed all the necessary jars under FUSION_HOME/Oracle_SOA1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/ path and restarted the server.
    But still i'm getting the same error at runtime.
    Did i missed any step? Let me know the procedure to solve this.
    Do i have to run ant or edit Manifest file after placing the jar?
    in one site i find we have to place the jars under <DOMAIN HOME>/lib directory. Is this correct?
    We are using SOA suite 11.1.1.6.
    Thanks,

    Hi Karan,
    I have done placing the jars at FUSION_HOME/Oracle_SOA1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.ext_11.1.1/ and ran ant  -f build.xml .The build was successful without any error.
    I have even placed the jars in <DOMAIN HOME>/lib (/us2001/fmw/11.1.1.6/user_projects/domains/ohsdomain/lib) and did a server restart.
    After these activities, when i execute the composite, i still get the error in em console,

  • Invoking a method from a java class to a jsp file

    Maybe i'm going through a very basic error, but as i've looked for in some forums and nothing found decided to post. So let's go to the problem.
    Well, i have a form in a jsp file, it's basicaly html, but as i need some select boxes populated with data from the database i decided to create some methods in java classes. This is the point.
    My method receive some attributes, like the table and colums names, the name of the select box and the HttpServletResponse object.
    So after making all the database process. The method is supposed to write the result through the out.println(); object
    It goes everything all right except that the method seems to be called first than the html code coz' my select boxes comes above the head in the begin of the page and was supposed to come in the middle.
    part of the code:
    package pacote;
    import java.packages.*
    public class Class{
    public void metodo(HttpServletResponse response, String tableName, String column name, String selectName){
    PrintWriter out = response.getWriter();
    openConnection();
    //After making the query stuff
    //caso no haja nada na consulta
         if(rst == null)
         out.println("No h registros.");
         else{
         out.println( "<select name='" +SelectName + "' id='" +SelectName + "' class=\"input_ob\" >");
         out.println( "<option value=''>Escolha: "+objeto+"</option>");
         //fill the select body with options; A while that sweap the resultSet and use the out object to write the results
         getSelectBody(out,rst, selectValue);
    }This method is called this way:
    <tr valign="baseline">
        <td nowrap align="right">Grupo</td>
        <jsp:useBean id="m" scope="page" class="pacote.Class" />
            <td>
              <%
              try{
                   m.metodo(response, "tabela","grupo","id_grupo);
              } catch (IOException e) {
                   // TODO Auto-generated catch block
                   e.printStackTrace();
                        %></td>I'd like to know what i'm missing here. why the answer doesn't go in the place It's supposed to go.
    any answer will be greatly apreciated

    The issue is caused because you are using the response to get the writer directly.
    The JSP has gotten the same writer, but has wrapped it in a JSPWriter class. That class has got a buffer.
    So it writes the beginning html to the JSPWriter buffer.
    You write your stuff to the response writer - gets sent to the output.
    It writes more stuff to the JSPWriter buffer, then flushes that buffer - at which point all the text written into the JSP writer now gets added to the response.
    You see how your code is coming out first?
    Solution - instead of getting the writer from the response, pass the writer into your method (maybe instead of response if you don't use response for anything else)
    public void metodo(Writer jspWriter, String tableName, String column name, String selectName){
      PrintWriter out = new PrintWriter(jspWriter);
      ...That means that you will be writing to the same writer, and the text should come out in sequence.
    Cheers,
    evnafets

  • Auto-deployment of java classes in Weblogic 9 is not working

    I have an exploded ear in my autodeploy folder and I am updating some of the java classes inside it. But it looks like weblogic 9 is not reloading new version of them. Did anybody had any success with the similar setup?
    And yes, I am updating timestamp for my REDEPLOY file and -Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=false
    Thanks,

    I think it is missing - you need to do the import on your own. I filed an ER to get this one added.
    Note however that the best practice would be to minimize the usage of scripts in your JSP - since this creates spaghetti code that mixes UI with logic and is hard to maintain.

  • Compiling java classes from JDeveloper

    Hi guys... perhaps this thred need to be created in JDeveloper fourm, it so please let me know.
    I generated the classes from a web service which complie without errors and exedcute correctly. When trying to compile the main stub in Oracle database, I get an error "CONNOT RESOLVE SYMBOL" reviewing the java class, I see that extends the wrapper generated by Jdev. So I try to complie the extendable class, after trying to generate and compile it in the database, I get the error: "class$ is reserved for internal use" The code has the next line:
    static java.lang.Class class$(java.lang.String param1)
    Is this error launched from the oracle database? My guess is that maybe Im missing some library or something and thats why I can create the such Java Name procedures. But I will like if anyone could guide me through this exception.
    Thanks
    JP

    Do you have .jar (or the .class) files created after the compile from JDeveloper?
    If you do, you can load all of them using the command line utility loadjava:
    $ loadjava
    loadjava: Usage: loadjava [-definer] [-encoding encoding] [-force] [-genmissing] [-genmissingjar jar] [-grant grants] [-help] [-nousage] [-noverify] [-oci8] [-order] [-resolve] [-resolver resolver] [-schema schema] [-synonym] [-thin] [-tableschema schema] [-user user/password@database] [-verbose] classes..jars..resources..properties...

  • Running a Java Class in Workshop

    I'm trying to run a Java class with a public static void main method in Workshop. As instructed I opened the properties for the Java project, under the debbuger tab, checked Build before debugging. Then under "Create new process settings", in the Main Class box put the class with the main method with proper package structure. Clicked Ok. When I click the start button, the project builds, the process starts, the last message in the Output box is "Process Started" but then nothing happens. No System.out.println statements show. If I set breakpoints it never gets there. No values ever get set or changed in the Locals box. What am I missing?

    Thanks your response. I'm on sp3.
