Monitoring the memory being used by an external process

Dear All,
I was just writing to enquire whether there was a method of monitoring the size in memory of an external program being called via the Runtime.exec() method. I am trying to submit a program to a cluster and as I have no access to the source code of the program I am submitting I need some way of externally monitoring it's size and I was wondering whether this was possible in Java?

Thanking you in advanceYes it is but you can only monitor Enviroment specific to JAVA.If you need a solution you might look into JMX,java.lang.managent & java.lang.instrument pacakages and their is a tool called JConsole.
try to google to get more smart results.

You're misinformed and have asked several questions that I'll try to tackle.
No it doesn't double the memory. The Photo Stream image is simply a pointer to what you have in your camera roll.
If you delete pictures from your camera roll, leaving them only in Photo Stream, you will lose those images forever if you don't then pull them out of Photo Stream on another connected device. Photo Stream is meant to be TEMPORARY cloud storage for your images. Read about it here: iCloud: My Photo Stream FAQ

We are using Automotic memory management by using parameter memory_target option. I want to find out the total memory being used and which is free.
ie;(SGA+PGA). Please let me know.

Since we are using memry_target we will not get an accurate value there I guess.

What is the memory being used by, is it Other? If it is, that means the iPod can no longer read the music, so it has put it all in "Other".
The usual fix for this is to allow the iPod to Sync with its iTunes Library. If that doesn't work, the next option is to Restore the iPod using the Restore command in iTunes, on the Device/Summary pane.
Unless you are very (very) lucky, I suspect that you are going to have to Restore your iPod. Restoring will remove everything form the iPod and put back onto it only what it finds in your iTunes Library, which you say is currently empty.
If you have to rebuild your Library after this issue, by adding all the music back again, this is going to be hard to hear, but for the future, you may want to consider always having a backup of your library. The easiset way to back the Library up is;
if the Library is small enough, burn it to a DVD, as digital files, not a "music CD".
If your Library is too large for a DVD, buy yourself an external hard drive and copy the Library onto the drive. Remember to update the backup every so often.

I have Lync 2013 and 2010 , still i didn't finish my migration completely from 2010 to 2013 .this is coexistence environment that contains both Lync Server 2010 and Lync Server 2013 .
There was no error's in my lync 2013 front end and back end server's and every thing was fine, yesterday I installed windows updated AND CU for my lync 2013 front end and backend server's .
later on after restarting both the front end and the back end server's i start having hundred's of these error's related to "LS Call Park Service".
so any advice for these issue ? and what is the effect for these error .
below is the error I got .

Extract the hard drive from the faulty computer and recover the library from it or see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. (At least one link in there may be useful even if you don't have such a device.)

How do we examine the codec being used on a Timeline?

Something has gone wrong in creating a timeline. My footage is all grainy, indicating that it does not match the properties of the codec being used on the timeline. Unfortunately I cannot determine the properties. Is there a way to do this once the project has already been created?

Graininess isn't usually caused by the codec, unless the image is being scaled up a lot. The codec for the clip should be in the info inspector. Do the clips need rendering when they're in a project?

Video will not open OS 10.6.8 Safari 5.1.10, youtube page freezes the system. Activity moniy=tor shows all memory being used up, but processor use is very low

Video will not open. OS 10.6.8, safari 5.1.10. problem is very noticeable when opening youtube main page. stalls complete system. tried reloading most recent version of flash. Activity monitor identifies all memory is being used to open page, no processor usage and transfer rate does not look out of line. 4 GB memory. Macbookpro6.2, i5, 2.4 GHz. Individual Video will open in facebook. Some video will not open in Yahoo.
