Motion 3 crash on start up osx 10.4.11

Question

guys, motion is crashing on startup (i only see the splash screen and then it shuts down)
i tried all the recommandations in the support sites, reinstalled it 3 times - still no work.

hey guys, after i fixed the problem installing the proapps update 2008-1 and 2008-2 everything worked, except for the plug ins. obviously the folder in /hd/application support/pro apps/internal plugins/fxplug ins was empty - missing the file "filters.bundle"
reinstalling, cache delete, preferences deletes and receit deletes couldnt help at all.
fix was a fresh install on a firewire HD and copying this file over
(all the effects and filter where in the motion.app package)
after this motion as well as fcp had all effects and filters available.
hope this helps anyone who has this problem.
