I have a tabBar that i have put in a scroller, now i want to put two buttons
outside the scroller so that if the tabBar becomes too big then the user can press the buttons to

so on the click of the button i need to to see a property of the scroller or its scroll bars ?

  • How to make a movie clip scroll with mouse position

    Hello again.  I asked a question about parallax scrolling and I think it was the wrong question.  I am looking to control a website with similar controls as this example:
    http://www.sectionseven.com/index2.html
    I want to use this but also with both  x and y axis.  Any ideas as to where to find a tutorial as to where to do this?  It should be fairly simple, but I am having trouble.  Any help or code is greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

    Yeah, I figured it out.  simply change 0.04 to -0.04
    addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME,scrollmc1 );
    function scrollmc1(event:Event):void
         if(mc.x < 911  && (mouseX > 369)) {
            mc.x += (mouseX - mc.x) * -0.04;
         if(mc.x > 369  && (mouseX < 911)) {
            mc.x += (mouseX - mc.x) * -0.04
    Here is the actual code I used on my site:
    stage.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, enterFrameHandler);
    stage.align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;
    function enterFrameHandler(e:Event):void
              if((sliderWorkspace.x < 911 && (mouseX > 1100)) || (sliderWorkspace.x > 369 && (mouseX < 90))) {
                  var newLocation:Number = sliderWorkspace.x + ((mouseX - sliderWorkspace.x) * -0.04);
                        newLocation = Math.min(910, newLocation);
            newLocation = Math.max(370, newLocation);
            sliderWorkspace.x = newLocation;
    Let me know if this works for you

    just purchased blue ray movie from store with a redemption code but will not download with out inserting disc I have a macbook air

    I am experiencing the same thing. I have many books that I used to read on my iPad.
    Now on iBooks in Mavericks all my books downloaded correctly apart from two which I really want to work (The Lean Startup and Communicating The User Experience).
    When I download both using the cloud icon just when it reaches 100% I get this message:
    [Insert Book Name] failed to download
    To try again, select Check for Available Downloads from the Store menu.
    When I check for available downloads it says I have already downloaded all my books.
    Anyone know how to fix this.
    I do realise that this is only v1 of iBooks so I hope Apple sorts it out soon.
    Thanks!!!

  • Discover New Parallax Scrolling with Adobe Muse CC | Creative Cloud for Design | Adobe TV

    Terry White, Adobe worldwide evangelist, shows how Adobe Muse CC lets you create stunning effects with just a few clicks. Make images and elements move in different directions at different speeds when scrolling — all without writing code.
    http://adobe.ly/12yzGv0

    There has to be a way to create a Re: Discover New Parallax Scrolling with Adobe Muse CC | Creative Cloud for Design | Adobe TV slideshow that fills browser width. It's not a problem for desktop, but it is a problem for laptops/tablets/phones.
    How did the site in the tutorial do it? Terry said it was created in Muse.
    Here is a test site that I've been working on - I would love to make it responsive w/o having to create separate tablet/phone sites:

    Any suggestions?

  • How do I move a symbol from code?

    I'm actually trying to centre and scale a symbol, while maintaining aspect ratio, such that the width fills the stage, but that only seems to be possible for background images (width:100%, height:auto).
    I created a symbol (with about 6 divs (rectangles and text) in it) on the stage and names it 'content'. The stage is 100% wide and 100% high. On window.resize, I set content scale thus -
    var stageWidth = $(window).width();
    var contentWidth = sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().width();
    var m = stageWidth / contentWidth;
    sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().css("-webkit-transform", "scale(" + m + ", " + m + ")");
    It scales fine, but it scales about a weird point making the symbol appear to move as the window resizes. I want it to remain at the left hand side (filling the viewport). I couldn't work out how to make it do that in the interface, so I started to attack it with code
    console.log("before: " + sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().position().left);
    sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().css("position", "relative");
    sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().css("top", "0px");//actually needs to be -(half of (content height - stage height))
    sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().css("left", "0px");
    console.log("after: " + sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().position().left);
    But that isn't having any effect at all (other than filling my javascript console). How can I move this thing to the correct position?

    Thanks Tim, but changing the width and the height of my_symbol just doesn't reproduce what I'm trying to acheive, or the problems I'm having as a result of that. I need to scale the symbol, not resize it.
    I just tried you code anyway. my_symbol does stay top left, but actually it stays left if I use your code without the bottom two lines. You need
    sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().css("-webkit-transform", "scale(" + m + ", " + m + ")");
    to cause the wierd positioning issue.
    Here's a result you might find interesting. I tried this code -
    var stageWidth = $(window).width();
    var contentWidth = sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().width();
    var m = stageWidth / contentWidth;
    sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().css("-webkit-transform", "scale(" + m + ", " + m + ")");
    sym.$("content").css('left', 0);
    sym.$("content").css('top', 0);
    console.log("left: " + sym.getSymbol("content").getSymbolElement().position().left);
    Then I resized the browser a bit and got this trace
    left: 45
    left: 45
    left: 37
    left: 37
    left: 27
    left: 27
    left: 20
    left: 20
    left: 8
    left: 8
    left: 4
    left: 4
    left: -2
    left: -2
    left: -8
    left: -8
    left: -9
    left: -9
    So it looks like content's left isn't getting set to 0 at all. Oh dear. -ve numbers are from browser widths greater than 720, which is the width of 'content' before I've filddled with it.
    I can't even work which point it's scaling about! If I could make that the middle left then I wouldn't have a problem.

  • Creation of new movement type and transaction code

    Hi
    As per my business requirement i want to create new movement type 911 in  1M and how to assign to transaction code MIGO and if possible can some body can guide me with configuration.
    With regards
    G Narendra kumar

    Hi Narendra,
    1 . To copy a movement type,
    select the field Movement type and choose Continue. The dialog box
    Define work area appears.
    2. In the dialog box Define work area, enter the movement type you want
    to copy in the From: field. In the To: field, enter the name of the
    new movement type you want to create. To go to the overview of the
    selected movement types, choose Continue .
    3. Select the movement type you want to copy, and choose Edit -> Copy
    as.
    Overwrite the selected movement type with the new movement type
    (beginning with 9, X, Y, or Z) and copy all dependent entries.
    The system copies all control indicators from the reference movement
    type to the new movement type.
    4. Copy the reversal movement type and enter it in the view
    Reversal/follow-on movement types.
    5. In SE38, execute the program RDDKOR54 and then give the entry T156 as table name and again execute. Check if the entries 9,Y, and Z* are available in the namespace.
    Thanks

  • JTextPane: scroll with wheel when using addMouseWheelListener()

    Hello! I have JTextPane with code (code editor) with busy mouseWheelListener() which is used to increase/decrease font size when Ctrl key is hold. I think I overwrite default wheelListener behavior, so it is impossible to scroll text with a wheel. How can I do that?
    My code is below:
    JTextPane editor = new JTextPane();
    editor.addMouseWheelListener(new MouseWheelListener() {
                public void mouseWheelMoved(MouseWheelEvent e) {
                    if (e.getModifiers() == InputEvent.CTRL_MASK) {
                        int notches = e.getWheelRotation();
                        Component originator = e.getComponent();
                        float prevFontSize = originator.getFont().getSize();
                        if (notches < 0) {   //if UP then descrease font size
                            if (prevFontSize > 12.0f)
                            originator.setFont(originator.getFont().deriveFont(prevFontSize - 2));
                        else {  //if DOWN increase
                            originator.setFont(originator.getFont().deriveFont(prevFontSize + 2));
    JScrollPane editorWithScrolls = new JScrollPane(editor);
    //...nothing happens when I scroll mouse wheel...
    How can I scroll text with mouse wheel in my case?
    P.S. May be anybody knows how to scroll and set caret to given line(word)?
    Thank you.

    the textpane processes the event before it gets to the scrollpane.
    you need to "pass it on"
                        else {  //if DOWN increase
                            p.setFont(originator.getFont().deriveFont(prevFontSize + 2));
                    [scrollpane].dispatchEvent(e);//<--------------------------
            });

  • My touchpad will not scroll with the current version of foxfire.

    The screen in foxfire will not scroll with the sliding of my finger on right side of the touchpad on my lenovo thinkpad or the navigation button. It does work with all other programs including windows explorer and google chrome.

    OK, this is the original poster again. The trackpad scrolling problem has been sporadic. Now I have realized that I have this problem (in Firefox 7.0 and 7.01) WHEN THERE IS A PDF DOCUMENT OPEN IN ONE OF THE TABS. When there is a .pdf open, trackpad scrolling works fine in *that* tab but not in any of the other Firefox tabs that are open. When I close or move away from the .pdf file, then the scrolling function returns in the other tabs. Is there something about the Acrobat plug-in (ver. 9.4.5) that isn't working correctly in Firefox 7.x?

  • [F8] How to move a MovieClip with Ease In/Out tween using Actionscript

    In Flash 8, I need to move a MovieClip from point A to point
    B when a user clicks a button.
    I currently have a function which I pass three arguments:
    TargetX, TargetY, and the Duration (in frames). I have it working
    to move the clip linearly, however, I would really like to be able
    to ease in/out on the tween.
    I'm really stuck on the math of it all and need someone to
    give me the formula.
    Here's my function:
    Code:
    // Function which is called when user clicks button to move
    the mc
    _global.fMoveTheMovieClip = function(iTargetX, iTargetY,
    iDuration){
    // Calculate the distance to the Target position
    iTotalDistance = iTargetX - MoveThisClip_mc._x;
    // Mover function
    MoveThisClip_mc.onEnterFrame = function(){
    // If the movie clip has gotten close enough to the target
    if((Map_mc._x > iTargetX && Map_mc._x <
    (iTargetX + 1)) || (Map_mc._x < iTargetX && Map_mc._x
    > (iTargetX - 1))){
    // Snap the movie clip to the target x
    MoveThisClip_mc._x = iTargetX
    // And stop this function
    delete this.onEnterFrame;
    // Else, if the mc has NOT reached the target zone
    }else{
    // Move the clip
    // This is where I would like a formula to ease out then in
    based on the duration
    // Right now I have this to move the mc at a constant speed
    MoveThisClip_mc._x += (iTotalDistance / iDuration);
    Also, everything needs to be AS2 compatible.
    AND, I can't use the "tween" or "transitions" classes.
    So, please don't post anything with code similar to this:
    Code:
    import mx.transitions.Tween
    import mx.transitions.easing.*;
    If I need to add a "power" or "strength" argument to my
    function, that's fine.
    Thanks!!!!

    I'm thinking what I want isnt possible...
    Here is what I get.
    Its perfect for landscape.
    But when I use the same settings on a portrait, I get this
    The entire canvas should be portrait.  If I flip it, then the watermark is under the image instead of on the right hand side going up like on the landscape one.
    The portrait one should end up looking like this
    I know this is being picky, but I'm taking over running photo and reviews for a media, and we have 4-5 photographers (myself including) covering shows.  So I'm looking for a one click to export and bam everything is fine type of thing.
    So it's like the canvas would need to be portrait for portrait photos and landscape for landscape photos, and keep the name on the lower right regardless.  I'm thinking LR isnt that smart just yet to say "add 1 inch and put logo down here on all images" lol
    But I totally appreciate your input.

  • Horizontal scrolling with mouse wheel?

    I have built a website for a client that scrolls only horizontally. Is it possible to scroll with the mouse wheel horizontally?
    Is there certain HTML I need to add?
    Thank you

    Hi,
    There is no out of the box solution to force horizontal scrolling with mouse wheel. However, you can add your own code to your Muse site after exporting it. These docs should be helpful :

  • Horizontal scrolling with mousewheel

    I was wondering if anyone knew how to create horizontal scrolling with the mousewheel in Adobe Muse.
    So that instead of the page moving up/down when the mousewheel is used, it moves left to right so that the user dosen't have to manually scroll.
    Is there any HTML I can insert that will allow me to do this?

    My apple mouse that came with my iMac G5 started sticking which was causing problems when I tried to double-click. I bought a Logitech Optical Mouse which works fine on my iMac even if it was intended to be used with a PC. I can even right-click to bring up the options you would get by ccontrol-click an apple mouse. Also the Logitech mouse is cheap compared with an apple mouse.

  • How do I make my Spry Accordion menu scroll *with* my webpage?

    Afternoon,
    I'm a newbie designer, just helping a friend build a website that will incorporate her blog and other stuff, but what I'm trying to do is set up my Spry Menu (set as a vertical accordion style) to scroll with the page.
    I want it to scroll within the confines on my div class="contentright"
    CSS for div class:
    .contentright {
        padding-top: 410px;
        float: left;
        width: 210px;
    HTML of same div class:
    <div class="contentright">
                                <div id="SpryAccordion1" class="Accordion" tabindex="0">
                                <div class="AccordionPanel">
                                    <div class="AccordionPanelTab tabTop">
    My webpage has a set width and is set to expand based on what I have in my main content area. I'm just not sure what to code and where to code it (in my HTML or in the CSS), to set my Spry to scroll. I'm assuming it's something with a .float functionality, maybe? I just need it to stay beneath my top padding so that it doesn't get overlapped by my main header logo that I had to set to position: absolute;
    Any ideas?

  • Why can I no longer scroll with the mouse when using Pages?

    A few days ago, I realized that I am unable to scroll within a Pages document with the mouse.  The scroll bar is not there.  The scroll feature works fine, and after trying to figure this out myself with no success, I thought I'd ask here.  I have Pages '09 and I'm using OS X 10.9.5.

    Thanks.  That's not the problem.  Scrolling works in everything else except Pages.  I used to be able to scroll just by using my finger up or down on the mouse.  Now, I can't do that.  I tried setting the scroll bars to "Always", but then I have to physically click on the scroll bar and move it up and down.  Not like it's that much hassle, lol, but I got used to just scrolling with my finger on the mouse.
