Movie Showing in iTunes but not DMA App

In the past, when a Disney movie downloads from iTunes, it automatically shows up in my DisneyAnywhere app as well as adds the points to my DMR (Disney Movie Rewards) immediately without me having to do anything.
Yesterday, I downloaded the new Big Hero 6 movie from iTunes and can view it on my computer within iTunes along with the other movies I've purchased. However, it did not show up in my DisneyAnywhere app (and still isn't). Today, I looked again to see if it had corrected itself overnight and its still the same, however, when I click on Purchased in my iTunes account Big Hero 6 is nowhere to be found. But it's in my Movies and I can watch it. I also have noticed that when I go to BH6 in the iTunes Store that it tells me I still have to buy it but when I do that, it tells me that I've already bought it.
Can someone please tell me what in the world is going on? Or maybe make some suggestions (that aren't the basics like powering down, signing in and out, etc) that I can try?
Thank you so much for your help!

Hello megoettee,
With what you are describing, you best bet is to report the issue to the iTunes Store. Take a look at the article below to walk you through with doing that. If you cannot report it then let me know and I can give another suggestion.
Report a problem with an item purchased from the iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store

  • I'm having issues with my TV programmes artwork. It shows in iTunes but not on the Videos app.

I'm having issues with my TV programmes artwork. The artwork shows in iTunes but not on the Videos app. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

    Your feed is at http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/GPKwx
The latest episode in it is 23 July: the later episodes haven't made it into the feed so either the connection to Feedburner has failed or there is something about the recent episodes which is causing them not to make it into the feed. It's not obvious from looking at the web page what this might be.

  • Album art is showing in itunes but not on my ipod

I have a new 60GB ipod video and am having a problem with album artwork. It shows in all the right windows in itunes but not on the ipod itself.
The problem is affecting random songs (singles and odd album tracks) and is not as a result of any software updates.
I have tried unchecking and rechecking the 'display album art' option in preferences, deleting and reinserting the covers and even deleting and reimporting the affected songs from scratch. So far nothing has worked and I don't know what else to do!
    Any suggestions?
Apple iBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.3)   ipod 60GB with video

Thanks but still no luck I'm afraid.
To update: I have been using itunes 6 from the outset and have always manually updated the ipod - it has never even been switched to automatic as I changed this at the start (advice from a friend). File formats for the affected tracks are all either AIFF or Apple Lossless - same as all the unaffected tracks.
The even stranger thing is that artwork for some albums, where all the tracks were imported manually at the same time, shows for some tracks on the ipod and not others. The artwork does, however, show for all of the tracks on the ipod when viewed through itunes!

  • Apps show in itunes, but not on iPad (iOS5 Update)

I updated to io5 last night on my iPad 1.  I have iTunes installed on a Win7 laptop.  I ran backup from iTunes which is good, because the update did not include my apps.  I ran "Restore from backup" from iTunes and it ran for a long time, and resulted in the last setup screens (location, iCloud, daily diagnostics), but still no apps on the iPad.  I can see them in the iTunes, though.  How do I get the apps from iTunes into the iPad?
    Thanks,
    Scott

Forgot to mention - when looking at the "get info" section, none of the video codec information seems to be ported over. It appears as though the iPad cannot read the codec information.
I have validated all codecs are fine - even iTunes has told me that the videos are already in the proper format. It's just the iPad which seems that it cannot read the codec/info.

  • Why does my app store account tell me that my payment method does not match my bank's records. my card is valid and works for iTunes but not the app store.

While trying to change my Credit Card info: The app store tells me that my payment method information does not match my bank records and to try again or enter a new payment method. My CC is valid and its the same CC ive had for a while. This CC info works for iTunes but is not being accepted for the App store.I have changed this info online but cannot change it on my iPhone. Can anyone tell me what i need to do?

When you connect the iPod the summary screen should automatically open.
If you click on the 'music' tab, you will see the options to:
"display album artwork on your iPod". Make sure that is enabled.
See also: My artwork is missing.

  • Movie plays in iTunes but not on ATV2

Too bizarre.... I have the original 2 discs of a great German movie - Das Boot - which I converted (using Handbrake) into 2 separate m4v files and then combined (using QT Pro 7.6.6) into one file which saves as a .mov file. Plays fine using Quicktime (any version) and even plays fine in iTunes, but doesn't play at all through ATV2. If I highlight the movie in iTunes and then (under the Advanced menu) try to "Create iPad or Apple TV Version" I'm told that it's already in the correct format. I tried converting the .mov file to m4v using Handbrake and the resulting file (m4v) plays fine in iTunes and QT (any version) but in ATV2 the second disc part has no audio (but the subtitles have always been OK). I went to the Handbrake forum but nobody seems to know how to fix the problem or they simply aren't answering my questions. My final attempt to solve the problem is to export (using QT Pro 7.6.6) "Movie to Apple TV" but it's looking like it's going to take a few hours to convert a 3 1/2 hr movie file (about 2 GB) and I have my doubts that it'll even finish the conversion or that it will play on ATV2 ultimately. Does anyone have any idea what's happening and how I can fix the problem?

Unfortunately because it's a conversion problem from copy protected discs we are unable to discuss the matter under the Terms of Use for these communities.

  • IPod shows in iTunes, but not in Finder

I have a click-wheel iPod, and when I connect it to my computer, it opens iTunes and updates properly. It shows up in Finder too, but only until the iPod is finished updating. As soon as iTunes says the update is complete, the iPod icon disappears from the Finder. It is still in iTunes, however, and I can re-update it if i want to. The screen on the iPod changes from "Do not disconnect" to the regular charging screen, but it is still shown in iTunes, not the Finder, leaving me able to update the music, but unable to put any additional data on it. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
Also, I have tried putting it in disk mode with the same results. It shows up for an instant, but then disappears.

One possible cause is so simple that people miss it without realizing. Has the iPod been enabled for disk use in iTunes? Please note that this is not the same as putting your iPod into 'disk mode'. Your description makes it sound like it isn't, and I believe it is off by default, so I'll tell you how to enable it.
With iTunes open, and your iPod connected, go to Preferences in the iTunes menu, click the iPod tab, and (if it't not already selected) mark the box labeled 'enable disk use' (or something to that effect). Then, the iPod should mount on the desktop like a standard hard drive, and you can open it just like a normal drive. The iPod's needed files and your songs are all hidden from view so you don't accidentally move anything you shouldn't.

  • .mov playing in iTunes but not Quicktime

Please bear with me as I try to explain this as best as possible.
I have an issue where .mov files will not play properly in quicktime (i.e. skipping, static, just messing up). However .mov files all work fine in iTunes and with other video apps.  The odd part that confuses me is that I can play .mov files off quicktime fine from my external hard drive...but the errors happen in quicktime when I play the files off the computer.
    Help? Suggestions anyone?
    Thanks in advance.

Gosh it took me a half hour to log back in here .. I sometimes think they differentiate between the iTunes password and the Apple password .. so irritating.
Okay .. there is something I just found out that is important for me so obviously I am not an expert on this but now I am sure it is a codec that must be your problem and the reason why it is happening on your computer as opposed to (what did you say you were successful at using it on .. an external hard drive) your external hard drive is that the hard drive probably does not have other codecs installed. I have a million codecs (*.dll, *.ax) and if you do a search for those file types in your QuickTime folder you will see quite a few of them. I think though also there are some under Sys32 .. you know the Windows folder.
    okay so now
    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resources/components.html?os=Windows&ctype=696d64 63&csubtype=574d5633
that link has some outside codecs that install on QuickTime .... BUT the thing that may be even more important is that if you are like me perhaps I did not purchase the
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL837
    QuickTime Pro 7 registration code
I have tried to purchase as many codes or codecs that I could to make my QuickTime Pro work better .. and there has been no message for me to purchase a registration code after the one that I already have. But also I purchased the MPEG 2 codec and I am sort of lost on that one because I have to find out if that has an upgrade.   The thing is .. is the version of QuickTime Player that I just installed SEPARATE from iTunes .. usually I upgrade them both at the same time but I was trying to see if there were some codecs that I could purchase separately for my QuickTime Pro and I noticed on the Apple QuickTime site that their version was higher than the one last installed with iTunes. So now I installed the separate QuickTime Pro lates version (I thought .. but when does that ever apply for longer than 24 hours ... geez I get tired of all of this upgrading!) and it says it is  Version 7.7 (1680.34) ... which is annoying when you now ask a question about why there is no codec in your QuickTime Pro to be allowing it to open an *.avi file and it sends you to the link of the iTunes download (with QuickTime of course which is about 90 MBs .. at least ) and all the upgrade version says is 7.7!
This is all too frustrating I know. You have to really make sure that your iTunes program though is NOT associating with the *.mov file type. You have to see what program is associated with the *.mov and the *.qt file types. Then also like me check to see if you need to buy this QuickTime Pro 7 registration code. Then also do a scan of your *.dll and *.ax codecs and see if you have one that is interfering with the QuickTime Pro playing *.mov files.
Do you have another media player program besides iTunes and QuickTime?  Like for example Windows Media Player?  I have plenty and have been trying to get enough codecs so that I can just use all of the programs with all of the file types. (good luck)
well anyway hope I did not confuse you   - If you find out anything about the QuickTime Pro 7 Registration code versus the 6 (I bought my QuickTime Pro way before even 6 came in) then let me know.

  • My ipad shows in itunes but not at all in my computer or device mgr

no sign of it on the pc (xp home)  but recognized in itunes     not charging message as well from usb2

It does not have disk mode so that is why it is not showing up in your computer.
Unless you have a very recent computer you do not have high power USB ports. If you connect it to your computer it will charge, albeit very slowly, if you turn the iPad off or put it to sleep and don't wake it.
Far better idea to use the iPad charger.

  • Some TV shows in iTunes but not Apple TV menu

I noticed that some shows (in this case, 30 Rock) do not show up in any of the Apple TV menus - even with a straight search. The shows are, however, available in iTunes on my Mac. Is there any way to purchase and manage these shows from the TV, or do I need to download them to my laptop and stream them to the Apple TV?

I've had my apple tv for over a year now, so I'm assuming it's first generation. I've not had problems with it until recently. There are some shows that show up in itunes on my mac, but are not showing up on my apple tv. I've tried resetting my apple tv to factory settings and starting all over, downloading a newer version of itunes...and nothing seems to help.
    What am I doing wrong?

  • IPad 2 Podcasts show in iTunes, but not playable in iPad

Podcasts update regularly in iTunes, like they should.  I plug in the iPad to the computer, it syncs, like it should.  In iTunes I can see the podcasts on my iPad.  Go to the iPad (music->podcasts) and there are icons for each podcast, but they won't play.  One icon doesn't even have a title.  I've considered hitting the screen harder, but figured that was just the rage talking and not a good idea.
I've tried deleting them from the iPad so I could resync, which presented a new set of problems.  When deleting them from the iPad from the iPad (push on the icone till the black X appears, then delete it), the podcast persists on iTunes.  When deleting the podcast from the iPad from iTunes, they persist on the iPad.  I have tried resyncing multiple times.
This has worked in the past.  Just recently have the podcasts become unuseable.

No, I have not downloaded the podcast app.  Till this point I didn't see any reason to get another special purpose app when the iPad, supposedly, comes prepared to do what I want it to do.  At the bottom of the iPad screen are 4 icons, Safari, Mail, Photos, and Music.  In music at the bottom is the More tab where podcasts are found.
Are podcasts no longer compatible with iPads?  Do I need a special app to play them?

  • Why does the album artwork show in itunes but not on my iphone?

When im in itunes all the artwork shows but when i sync it not all of the artwork comes up on my iphone.

I guess I have successfully solved that. Somehow  predicted this problem's appearance and added a function of ID3 tags version conversion. Just convert all of your mp3 files' tags to version 2.4. worked for me, now bitrate gets downgraded and artwork is safe.
p.s.: some of the artwork (especially files that originally were higher bitrate AAC converted to 128 kbit/s) won't show the artwork in the artist or album list at first. just play any of such songs and artwork will show up.

  • Album and artist showing in itunes, but not in manual sync

I have a 8 gig ipod touch and my library is larger so I have to select to manually add artists on my ipod. The problem is the artist I want isn't appearing in the artist section in sync. the artist is in itunes library but will not appear and doesn't come up in the search bar.
Can anybody please help me fix this issue, I need to listen to some Sublime.

perhaps what turingtest2 suggested in another thread helps:
To display all artists in the Artists menu on your iPod, even those who only appear on compilations, remove the ticks against both of the iPod Compilation menu items, i.e.
Settings > Main Menu > Music > Compilations
Settings > Music Menu > Compilations
Cover flow should remain the same, with all compilations albums listed at the right-hand end.
To display all artists in the Artists browser column in iTunes turn off the preference to Group compilations when browsing. Provided you have set the Album Artist field the albums should remain grouped together.
