Mozilla Unable to Locate verify.dll and crashes

I'm running Mozilla 1.7.11 on Windows NT. In the last few days, Mozilla will crash any time I visit a site that uses certain types of javascript. The error message that pops up before crashing has the title "mozilla.exe - Unable to Locate DLL" and reads " The dynamic link library verify.dll could not be found in the specified path", and then it proceeds to list several paths, including system folders, mozilla folders.
I haven't modified my computer's settings, and it seems to be free of spyware. Is there a particular Java download on this site that I should simply install and re-run to replace or update the verify.dll file? Or should I manually try to find the file online and upload it somewhere to my PC?

Beats me. However, here is some ideas:
I suggest upgrading Mozilla to the latest version. It might automatically download the verify.dll file. If not, delete Mozilla and reinstall the lastest Mozilla version from scratch. If you reciently installed Microsoft Vista, it appears that the verify.dll may have been left out, therefore download verify.dll off the web and install it where it says, dont have to reinstall Mozilla. Good luck!

  • AppleSyncNotifier.exe unable to locate CoreFoundation.dll

After rebooting following my iTunes upgrade I got the message that AppleSyncNotifier.exe unable to locate Component and the detailed version said it can't start because CoreFoundation.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
Every time I reboot it says this. What program does it want me to reinstall? Has anyone else had this? Can I just get the dll someplace and put it in some folder? Arrrhgggh!
Any help would be appreciate. Thank you.
    Sally

I am having the same problem with my iPhone since I installed the iTunes upgrade. The message I am getting is "AppleSyncNotifier.exe entry point not found. The procedure entry point sqlite3preparev2 could not be located in the dynamic link library sqlite3.dll Then it tells me the AppleSyncNotifier has stopped working. I, unfortunately, have tried too many things and one was to RESET my iPhone in iTunes since it was "not working". Now I have NO data in my iPhone, and when I plug it in to sync, iTunes shows an iPhone icon, but will not connect at all. Any ideas? It had not synced in several days (unbenownst to me) so I have lost many appointments and phone numbers, etc. from Outlook. Any ideas?

  • Unable to locate OraSQL10.dll error

I am trying to compile a Oracle 8 pro*c COM program against 10g libraries. The compilation is successful. However, after linking, it gives an error
    Unable to Locate component.
This application has failed to start because orasql10.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.
I made sure the LIB path is pointing to the correct 10g libraries and Path variable also has 10g bin folder listed.
Reinstalling 10g clients doesnt seem to help.
    Thanks!

In Windows ENV always safer to go for fresh installation for OCI Libraries.
Normally updagrade creates lot of DLL problems.
Solution is to remove the OLD directories as well as registry entries
    before installing NEW verions.

  • Premiere CS4 upload all my music Vsti (dll) and crash at start-up

My question is in the title.
I'am a sound designer and I got tons of VSTi applications (synthes, sounds effects, ect) .
When installing Premiere and launching it, it scan my HD and upload all the VSTi I got... of course it can't handle it.
So how can I avoid Première to upload those dll?
Many thanks in advance for your answers.

    Welcome to the forum.
As you report, there are some VST's, that PrPro cannot handle.
    Basically, there are three behaviors:
1.) PrPro can load and work with the particular VST's
2.) PrPro can load, but not work with the particular VST's. When this happens, there is a one-time message to that effect. The message does not repeat again.
3.) PrPro tires to load, but crashes, with particular VST's. Some, like Native Instruments are know to be troublesome.
Now, there have been posts on how to "blacklist" certain VST's. Also, some users have written of success by moving their VST's (the problem ones) to their Desktop, where PrPro seems to not look. They then just point, say Cubase to that Desktop folder and all is well. Others have done some creative folder placements, and again pointing their Audio programs to these specific folders. How they hide these from PrPro might be in their threads.
A past contributor to this forum, Eddie Lotter, had written a little application for blacklisting certain VST's, on an individual basis. I cannot find my link to it right now, but will keep on looking.
As PrPro tries to locate all VST's (in hopes that it can work with them), it would be good if it had a built-in blacklisting utility. I do not know if this has been added to the most recent versions and updates.
There are many articles on this forum on just what you describe and ways to fix the situation. A search on "VST loading" should yield several of these, with other user's fixes for the "bad" VST's.
    Good luck,
    Hunt

  • What is with MSVCR100.dll and Crashes?

While in Develop I clicked on an image in the filmstrip solely to change its colour rating.
While doing that the dreaded white screen....close program...and that's the second time today while doing a 'nothing' action
Its predominantly reported in the event manager  as the mSVCR100.dll in the Windows7 system 32 folder that is connected with this 'hissy fit'....
If the crash results from the lens correction area it will be the cameraraw.dll
What does MSVCR100.dll have to do with anything anyway?
    Rose

Tom, Lex. can you break this down a little more in a way i understand? i downloaded the Sunrise App but have not had time to work in it or to take a stab at fixing this again because the last time i did i felt like i was doing a PhD and it involved way too much time and brain cells.
    what is the deal?
in OSX you can get this to work and it WILL work correctly on my phone when i travel but i CANNOT add an appointment on my iPhone and get this to work unless i make sure to get back to the appointment on my computer and "fix" this somehow?
if so, can you please break this down into settings and /steps/ (like 1 - 8) so i can try to make it work next time i travel?
i may have to go east coast and then overseas and it would be /great/ to test this in the US and not have to hire a full time secretary to get this to work when i am traveling and jet-lagged overseas...

  • Unable to locate jvm.dll

How do I get my native program to load the default VM?
Unless I put my program in the same directory as jvm.dll it won't run.
I assume that I could do other things to add the folder that the jvm.dll file is in to the paths searched for DLLs, but I would have to determine that at run time. Doesn't seem like the right solution to me.
    How is this normally done?

I am having the same problem, as long as jvm.dll reside in the same directory as the executable, my app works; otherwise, it complains that jvm.dll can not be found in the specified path (but specified path did not show). The difference is that I add the path to jvm.dll to the PATH environment.
    I am on Windows2000 and using VC++.
Please help. Do I need to set other environment variables such as JRE, etc.
    Thanks!

  • Mac mini unable to locate airport express

Since getting new modem from Comcast Xfinity, Mac mini (Airport Utility) has been unable to locate Airport Extreme and Airport Express. Can anyone help?

OK, you have a choice you cannot use the Extreme as an extender, you can use it as your primary router or use the Comcast device as your primary router. If you choose to use the Extreme as your primary router then you need to call Comcast and ask them how to turn off the router abillities on their device. If you want to use the Comcast's router then you need to remove the Extreme from the equation and use the Express as an extender.

  • Explorer keeps crashing with ntdll.dll, verifier.dll, msvcrt.dll and combase.dll errors

    Hi all,
I just bought my laptop a few weeks ago. Initially explorer only crashed (with the ntdll.dll error) when I had a lot of folders open, or when I was transferring stuff. But now I cannot open any folders at all without it crashing with the verifier.dll error.
This doesn't happen in safe mode.

Solving MSVCR80 issue and Windows iTunes install issues.
If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP
HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process.

With that one, first try uninstalling and reinstalling your MobileMe Control Panel for Windows, robin. Does that make the error go away?
