/.mplayer file contents typical

     A listing of typical file listing for /.mplayer in  .../root files would be helpful for me in resolving....no audio ... in mplayer.
     Anyone have such??

no audio ... in mplayer.
It`s the same problem as in this post:
http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=13697#13697
Just type
modprobe snd-pcm-oss
and everythink worked for me...
The arch-packages are compiled without alsa-support. There was a thread some months ago about changing this to alsa by default but nothing happend...
So you have to emulate in 2.6 the old oss sound with this alsa-driver.

  • File Content Conversion - Header

    Hi,
    I need to produce an pipe delimited file.  The only problem is that that column fields would need to be differentiated with an hypen.
    A typical file format is
    NAME
    ADDRESS
    AGE
    ONE
    134,DSTREET
    27
    TWO
    222,SSTREET
    28
    How do i specify the two lines of hypen(-) in file content conversion, is it possible or do i need to use any unix script to achieve it.
    When i posted, the pipe delimited disappeared.
    Please note that there is pipe delimeted between each fields.

    hi Krish,
    you can do it in your target Data Type, by specifying a structture which is not only based on your records, but like that:
    HypenLine1
    your headerLine (with field names)
    HypenLine2
    your Records... (so your current structure)
    so something like:
    DT_MyDataType
    ....HypenLine1  level with occurence 0..1
    .............LineField with occurence 0..1
    .... headerLine level with occurence 0..1
    and  in your mapping,
    ¤ you put constant in each field of your HeaderLine to provide the name of your field. (*)
    ¤ you put as many '-' character you want in your single field "LineField" of HypenLine1 and HypenLine2.
    (*) of course, in your receiver CC, you should remove your option which produces the headerLine based on your fields names, as now this line is maintained directly in your mapping.

  • FIle Content Conversion Problem in IDOC-XI-File Scenario

    Dear All,
    I am doing IDOC-XI-FILE scenario.
    I am facing one problem related to File Content Coversion.My requirement was to generate a dynamic file like <b>%store_code%_%current_date%_sitemaster.xml</b> , I have completed the dynamic generation successfully .
    Now there is slight change in the requirement ,<b>we have to suppress the current_date node of the xml content</b> . i have tried to suppress the current_date using these <b>DATE.fieldFixedLengths 0 , Date.fixedLengthTooShortHandling Cut</b> , But I am unable to suppress it Can some body provide me the details on this .
    The output xml version generated by Reciever file adapter is as below :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns0:MT_SITE_MASTER xmlns:ns0="http://sample-xitest.com/sitemaster">
    - <SITE_DATA>
    <STORE_CODE>N002</STORE_CODE>
    <TITLE_MEDI>Company</TITLE_MEDI>
    <STORE_NAME>Mount Road</STORE_NAME>
    <STREET>Chennai</STREET>
    <COUNTRY>IN</COUNTRY>
    <SALES_TAX_NO>12345678910</SALES_TAX_NO>
    </SITE_DATA>
    </ns0:MT_SITE_MASTER>
    Plz provide me the code I have to write in the file content conversion .
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Prabhat

    If u see my earlier reply, I mentioned that u can not suppress the field from the one node.i.e Form SITE_DATA data type u can not suppress the field called CURRENT_DATE.
    My suggestion is that , modify the Data type in such a way that you will be having two nodes as I have mentioned earlier.  Then use the Suppress Logic for the Current Date.
    So it will look like this-
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns0:MT_SITE_MASTER xmlns:ns0="http://sample-xitest.com/sitemaster">
    - <SITE_DATA>
    <STORE_CODE>N002</STORE_CODE>
    <TITLE_MEDI>Company</TITLE_MEDI>
    <STORE_NAME>Mount Road</STORE_NAME>
    <STREET>Chennai</STREET>
    <COUNTRY>IN</COUNTRY>
    <SALES_TAX_NO>12345678910</SALES_TAX_NO>
    </SITE_DATA>
    <CURR_DATE>
       <CURRENT_DATE>20051105</CURRENT_DATE>
    </CURR_DATE>
    </ns0:MT_SITE_MASTER>
    So ur SITE_DATA is not having a field called CURRENT_DATE. This field is in separate node (segment ) called CURR_DATE. Now u can use the Suppress Logic for the same like this.
    CURR_DATE.fieldFixedLengths - 0
    CURR_DATE.fixedLengthTooShortHanling - Cut
    And in your Variable Substitution you can use the date from the other segment called CURR_DATE.
    Hope this solves ur problem.

    Moorthy

  • How to display file contents on a web page

    On unix platform I have created a class that can read the contents of a file and display them to the standard output. But now i want to display these file contents on a web page through jsp. On JSP code I have imported this class and want to assign a record from a file and write it to the screen using html. I think the class needs to be modified in order to return the string record read from a file so that im able to access it from a jsp and assign it to a variable the I can display it on the screen. Can someone help me with these code?

    Actually, you mean Linksys.  BIG difference there.
    Linksys Business Series was accumulated into Cisco Small Business, since it was purpose built for small business, not residential/consumer grade.
    The new PVC2300 actually are Cisco branded on the case.
    The collateral you seek is protected by the business unit that supplies it, since it was placed on a portal that only Cisco registered partners can access.
    As I wrote, I already checked with the BU and they told me thats where it lives and not to hand it out.  I cannot override that.
    I am not sure there are any secrets in there, but I dont make the rules, sorry.
    Do you want to be a Cisco Partner?   Sign up and gain access to everything you need to sell Cisco successfully to end customers?  If you tell me your geography (city/state/zip, I will have an ICAM call you and help recruit you.....

    Installation Instructions
    Once the self-extracting archive file ORA8174.EXE has been
    exploded it will create an installable directory structure
    onto your hard drive. Run the Oracle Universal Installer from
    your local drive.
    1. On the screen "File Locations" use the "Browse" button of
    the source path to choose the file 'products.jar' from the
    folder that ORA8174.EXE was extracted to. Choose 'Next'.
    2. You will receive a warning that some of the dependencies of
    this product are not found in the staging area. This warning
    is OK. The ODBC driver depends on the Net8 Client being already
    installed on the system. Answer 'Yes' to continue.

    Error:ORA-21560: argument 2 is null, invalid, or out of range
    I want to diplay/view as per file content format from the file under that specified directory.
    Have any other method / any help or suggestions would be really appreciated.

    I changed the code like...
    CREATE OR REPLACE Procedure READ_FILE_LOB_tmp IS
    -- Input Directory as specified in create directory
    l_dir CONSTANT VARCHAR2(30) := 'READ_LOB_DIR';
    -- Input File which is read word by word
    l_fil CONSTANT VARCHAR2(30) := 'testfile.txt';
    -- Separator Character between words is a BLANK (ascii = 32)
    l_seb CONSTANT RAW(100) := UTL_RAW.CAST_TO_RAW(CHR(32));
    -- Character at the end of the file is NEWLINE (ascii = 10)
    l_sen CONSTANT RAW(100) := UTL_RAW.CAST_TO_RAW(CHR(10));
    -- Pointer to the BFILE
    l_loc BFILE;
    -- Current position in the file (file begins at position 1)
    l_pos NUMBER := 1;
    -- Amount of characters have been read

  • How to download a file/contents through a session bean to the bean client

    Hi All,
    I'm a newbie to enterprise beans and facing a problem. I have a requirement where an excel file saved on the server will be a accessed by a session bean and return it to the bean client (developed in swing). Client will display the file contents, user edits the contents and saves. Pressing the save button will save the excel on the server again using the same session bean.
    As far as displaying the contents of excel on the form/panel is concerned I have developed this part and able to load files and save them on my local machine.
    But my main requirement is to load it through Session Bean and then save it back on the server. An EJB 2.0 code snippet addressing this part would be a great help.
    Thanks,

    and where's the problem?
    I see 2 EJB calls, one to retrieve the data and another one to send it back to the server.
    That's the simplest scenario, easy to implement using a stateless session bean (though if you want to prevent concurrent modification of the file there's a bit more work to do, like keeping a record of open files).
    A more complex solution would have the client send only the changes to the file (for network performance reasons maybe) and have the EJB merge those in some way with the original document.
    Complex, possibly error prone, probably not worth the effort.
    First scenario should pose no problem if you're familiar with Java and have a passing familiarity with EJB.

  • How to find out if file contents under some document library SPListItem has changed

    hi,
    I am building a Sync tool which will Sync SharePoint document library to some other service(e.g. FTP). I have added event handlers on the document library for ItemAdded, ItemUpdated etc.. etc.
    Now i have one problem, when ever a file is updated (either custom properties and/or file content) then there is no way to check if its updating of content or custom fields. So everytime i need to upload my file to that FTP location. I want to get some indication
    that this time file content is updated not the custom fields, or file content with custom fields are updated.
    I have checked After and Before properties but its of no use. When ever you rename a file or just open the edit dialogbox and save it without updating any thing, all after and before properties are same :(
    Need some solution for this, any help suggestion is appriciated.

    Sorry for late reply.
    1st link (storing file hash/MD5) is not a solution for me as i have many Office documents
    2nd link doesnt have nay answers
    Archive Folder is not a solution. How can i find if current item SPFile has content changes?
    I already have my custom fields with each SPListItem. How can i find in itemUpdating/ed that if file content is changed? to make my custom field ture?

  • Create a group based on file contents

    Hello!
    I'm investigating options to create a dynamic group based on periodic check of file content. I have a Shavlik updater which is patching custom groups based on file contents. I would like to create a dynamic group which should return all Windows Computer
    classes that are found from this file. Anything close to sensible was found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxASdzHFTOU where author created an attribute of based on "SELECT * FROM CIM_DataFile" and then created a group out from it - but it checks
    file existence, not content, would launch against all Windows Clients (and we have 1000+ of these monitored) - certainly not a valid way.
    Is there any way I could do that in a simple, straightforward way?
    Thanks in advance

    Ok, I got it. Have you tried modifying the group membership with powershell?

  • Problem in file content conversion from XML to CSV

    Hi Experts,
    I am finding problem in file content conversion. I need to convert the following XML file into CSV file:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns0:MT_CROSS_REF xmlns:ns0="urn:dabur:idoc2file:pos">
          <Update_type>2</Update_type>
          <PLU>00000000</PLU>
          <Cross_ref_PLU>7777777</Cross_ref_PLU>
          <Capture_PLU />
          <Package_size />
          <Package_desc />
      </ns0:MT_CROSS_REF>
    The output file data has to be like:
    2,00000000,7777777,,,,
    The problem I am facing is while specifying the content conversion parameters in communication channel i dont know what recordset structure i should mention as all the records are directly under root. If I mention recordset structure as "ns0:MT_CROSS_REF" and parameters as
    ns0:MT_CROSS_REF.fieldSeparator   ,
    ns0:MT_CROSS_REF.endSeparator    'nl'
    i get error in communication channel monitoring and no file is posted.
    Please help me as to what correct parameter i should mention in my case.
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Yash

    Hi Chirag,
    I cannot change the xml file as it comes after mapping idoc to a message type. How can I add ROOT in the xml? My message type is like MT_CROSS_REF and it has those 6 fields as in the XML (Update_type, PLU etc.). I do the mapping of these fields from a IDOC and get the XML.
    I hope you got my point.
    Thanks,
    Yash

  • Can we compare file contents of two files in the Application server?

    Hi,
    A file is generated daily to the application server. and i need to compare the generated file to the file generated on the previous day and prepare a report.
    Can we compare file contents of two generated files present in the Application server?
    If there is any alternative, please suggest.
    regards

    yes we can compare if the app server is Unix.
    cmp compare two binary files and report if different
    cmp is silent if the files are the
         same;
    if they differ, the byte and line number at which the first
    difference occurred is reported.

  • How can I transfer a XML file content to a MS SQL database by stored procedure using LabWindows/CVI SQL Toolkit?

    Hi,
    I have a problem to transfer a XML file content to a MS SQL database by a given/fixed stored procedure. I'm able to transfer the content of the file by using following method ...
    hstmt = DBPrepareSQL (hdbc, EXEC usp_InsertReport '<Report> ..... </Report>');
    resCode = DBExecutePreparedSQL (hstmt);
    resCode = DBClosePreparedSQL (hstmt);
    ... but in this case I'm not able to fetch the return value of the stored procedure!
    I have tried to follow the example of the stored procedure in the help documentation (DBPrepareSQL) but I miss a datatype for xml?!?
    Any idea how to solve my problem?
    KR Cake
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    After some additional trials I found a solution by calling the stored procedure in this way
    DBSetAttributeDefault (hdbc, ATTR_DB_COMMAND_TYPE, DB_COMMAND_STORED_PROC);
    DBPrepareSQL (hdbc, "usp_InsertReport");
    DBCreateParamInt (hstmt, "", DB_PARAM_RETURN_VALUE, -1);
    DBCreateParamChar (hstmt, "XMLCONTENT", DB_PARAM_INPUT, sz_Buffer, (int) strlen(sz_Buffer) + 1 );
    DBExecutePreparedSQL (hstmt);
    DBClosePreparedSQL (hstmt);
    DBGetParamInt (hstmt, 1, &s32_TestId);
    where sz_Buffer is my xml file content and s32_TestID the return value of the stored procdure (usp_InsertReport(@XMLCONTENT XML))
    Now I face the problem, that DBCreateParamChar limits the buffer size to 8000 Bytes.
    Any idea to by-pass this shortage??
