Multi Cash and MT940

Hi Everyone,
What is the difference between multicash and MT940 formats.
If im uploading bank statement and in between some error will come then my question is carry on with the error and remove error after the run or to stop when error will pop up.
Please suggest what are pros and cons involved while uploading bank statement using MT940.

Electronic bank statement processing in SAP cash management is based on the multicash format, other formats, such as MT940 or BAI, are supported, but you are advised to use multicash because it's standard for all banks.
If MT940 should be processed, is recommended convert it to multicash format, because there are dialects which can differ from the standard, The SAP system does not support these dialects.
You should only directly import the MT940 format when a multicash conversion progam is not available.

Did you select both the statement file and line item file? 'Line item file' field is critical for Multicash format (not required for other formats of EBS).
Is the path to the files correct? Instead of copy pasting the path and file name, it is always suggested that you press F4 on the field and select the file from the directory.
Make sure that you check the checkbox Workstation upload - I guess your files are on a hard drive.

Needing a multi-month and year-in-view option for ical!

I could really use a multi-month and year-in-view format in ical... I've seen some dated posts - is anyone aware of any new developments/options for this?

I turn off all calendars but the birthdays. Select [Print]. Choose all the months you want to see. Deselect all calendars but birthdays. Click [Continue]. On the next menu, go to "Layout", select how many pages to print on the paper. I usually print a border around each calendar then you're good to go!
By only printing the birthdays calenar, you won't get too many appointments to get in the way of brain storming and future planning, yet the computer still thinks its printing a useful calendar.

No not possible.
You can include any DataStore object, InfoCube or InfoObject of type Characteristic with Master Data in a join. A join can contain objects of the same object type, or objects of different object types. You can include individual objects in a join as many times as you want. Join conditions (equal join condition) connect the objects in a join to one another . A join condition specifies the combination of individual object records included in the results set.

Verizon is a company that is only out to get your cash and leave you with trash. Verizon has mastered deception. Do not get strung along like I did by calling in and letting them try to fix anything-they are there to make sure you get past your 14 day return period so you are locked into a new 2 year contract and can’t take back any of the accessories you bought for your product. If your product does not work out of the box, RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY, do not call in for tech support and take back any accessories you bought for the product as it also has the 14 day policy too. First off let me say that as far as the PHONE SERVICE, it has been great…however…here is what I have experienced with the 3G Droid Bionic and Verizon. I decided to get the Droid Bionic 4G since they are supposed to have 4G service in my area. It’s either their service or the product that is not 100% 4G like my 3G HTC Imagio is 100% 3G, the so called "4G" Bionic flips in and out. I can’t count how many hours I’ve been on the phone with techs at Verizon and Moto but each time, they all had something different to say, but nothing ever worked and if it did, it didn’t work for long before it went back to the same flip flop. There were several other issues as well but too many to list, but one is that when I was tethered and would get a notification it disconnected from the internet...NOT SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN. I had a specific need for the 4G and since it doesn’t work, I don’t NEED it. The biggest lie I bought into is that MOTO is/was supposed to release a software update that is supposed to fix the flip flop 3G to 4G. I talked to a tech tonight at Verizon that was honest enough to tell me that if there was one that was going to be released (within my 14 day period) that they would have been notified of that. Well guess what, he doesn’t have any notices. But every person I talked to at Verizon said there was going to be an update, is it another one of those…no one knows their butt from a hole in the grown or was he telling the truth. Well it makes sense now that when I was talking with the second level tech at MOTO he didn’t know what the heck I was talking about. There’s your proof that the people you call and talk to at Verizon are devious, deceptive jerks and are only out to make money off us and could really care less that you just spent a bundle of money on a piece of cow dung and that their only goal is to keep you tied into the 2 year contract. After talking with the last tech at Verizon that told me there was no notification of a software update coming from MOTO or at least not in the next two weeks, I decided to take back all my accessories to the Verizon store in my area and return the Bionic tomorrow. But guess what, unlike the rest of America where the return policies are 30 days, Verizon also changed the return policies on the accessories too. So I’m stuck with over $100 of “STUFF” that cannot be used on any other phone. My bad, I didn’t have my reading glasses, look 12 inches down the long small print page to see that it said 14 days, when I bought the “STUFF” and I didn’t know that Verizon’s changes applied to the accessories in there stores too. Why is this and issue because Verizon did have me buy another Bionic phone under a new 14 day policy but because I didn’t realize that same policy applied to the hardware at their local stores, I’m stuck with the “STUFF”. Guess what Verizon; you devious, deceptive jerks, what goes around comes around. You are going to get to know me real well in the coming days, weeks, months and years; I’m going to picket until the freakin cows come home and hopefully get on the local news channels too. I’m going to hopefully create a nationwide movement that will either ruin your company or force you to restore the 30 day policy and I don’t care if you try to sue me that will be even better as it will draw even more attention. Money is hard to come by these days and I’ll not let you screw me over like this and get away with it. Because you are treating your customers like cow dung, I WILL NEVER extend my contract again; when this contact ends I’m switching to another cell provider. I’ve been with you since 2004 but tomorrow I’m switching my family’s phones over as soon as possible since they are not under any contract; this I hope will catch on and others will do the same. We can support the other companies and help them grow so that they can also provide better cell service and then we the people will have a choice, NOT TO GET SCREWED. ID 5.5 Interact. PDF, cannot remove white background for Multi-States and buttons.

I am working on an Interactive PDF Portfolio document. The problem I have is with Multi-State object feature with several buttons going to states that need to be exported as a SWF and imported back into InDesign 5.5. See, the background of my entire doc. is GREY, but when I import the SWF (as directed in Lynda.com videos correctly) and export the entire doc as Interactive PDF and view it in Adobe Acrobat Pro (version 10.1.1) is when all the trouble starts.
When I try to get rid of the WHITE background around the Multi-State objects and the buttons for them (using Select Object Tool and then control+click on it to change the Properties to Transparent Background Appearance) it does not change, even when I go forward and backward to the page.
Does the option of removing white background and making it transparent work only for Animation, but not Multi-State feature with buttons?
Can anyone suggest any other tecnique to create a nice slide show that works in Interactive PDF in ID CS5.5? Please..

I have 8 Multi-State objects in one stack on the left and the 8 buttons for each state in the stack on the right. The background of my document is dark grey. There is space inbetween Multi-State objects and the buttons that show the grey background. But after exporting as SWF the Multi-States together with the buttons and placing the SWF back in the PDF file, the space inbetween Multi-States and buttons that is supposed to show the grey background appears white. The problem is that I cannot even change this white background to transparent in Acrobat Pro, as well. I used to do that to animations and it worked, but not in this case.

Use the default parser.
By default, WebLogic Server is configured to use the default parser and transformer to parse and transform XML documents. The default parser and transformer are those included in the JDK 5.0.
The built-in WebLogic Server DOM factory implementation class is com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl.
The DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance method returns the built-in parser.

Hi,
When you are doing Message mapping after adding the Messaget types for source and target messages. You can click on the "" button in the target message and add one more tab. You can go to Message tab as shown in the 5th image and click "" button to add one more message type. Then do the mapping as usual.
Based on the value of the element(name), the node of input(details)should be directed to one of the two message types
Here in this blog it is done based on the Name.
You need to use IFTHENELSE boolean function and do the mapping.

Settings for Cash and liqudity report

As per your response i have done all the setting and i cheked FF7A and FF7B for cash and liquidity forcase but still i am not able to get the Persons line items in that report for M1, M2 and s1, i am ble to view only F1 line item.
M1 means Purchase requisition
M2 means Purchase Order
S1 Means Sales order
Here i am able to generate only F1 line item detals only F1 means posting of purchase and sales
i have created Planning group and assign in Customer master and vendor master
i want to gererate report for M1 M2 and S1 line items in Person column
Kindly give quick responce on the above issue

how many message interfaces i have to create .
one outbound , one abstract and two inbound .. is it correct.

Minimum you need to create three message interfaces i.e. Bpm_In_MI_Abstract, aBpm_Out_MI_Abstract Bpm_Out1_MI_Abstract, because abstract interfaces can be use inbound and outbound as well.
You can also use create implement it by using inbound and outbound message interfaces. In that case you have to use three additional interfaces(1 outbound and 2 inbound).

I was having a look to Illustration of Multi-Mapping and Message Split using BPM in SAP Exchange Infrastructure blog.
The functions are not the same. I mean, yours and blogs functions.
Each function has two parameters, Name and node. Furtheremore, in the blogs' functions is using arrays and you don't.
So, the right code will be
1.selectnodeifA
for(int i=0;i<=node.length();i++)
if(Name.equals("A"))
result.addValue(Node);
However, if you don't need an advance user defined function as you want to process just one element of the node's queue, you will not need to use for sentence.
Something like:
1.selectnodeifA

if(Name.equals("A"))
result.addValue(Node);

The Multi-Select is now working, not sure what I did wrong earlier. However the "Can select all" option when building the parameter does not work as advertised, though I was able to get around that as well.

The way I am getting around the problem is to uncheck the "Can select all" and then manually select all the values in the LOV in order to get the "All".

Using a column twice in a dashboard prompt -- multi-select and wild-carding

My client is using OBIEE 10.1.3.2; they cannot upgrade at this time. However, they want to be able to enter both a list of values and a wild-card search for additional values at the same time for a single column in a dashboard prompt.
Since they cannot upgrade, they do not have the wild-card search feature of the enhanced multi-select prompt feature of 10.1.3.3 and later releases.
Has anyone found another method to do this, perhaps by using a column twice in a dashboard prompt or in separate dashboard prompts on the same dashboard apge, in order to OR the results of a multi-select and an edit box (with wild-card pattern-match entry)? I suspect that will not work -- that the results sets of one prompt for a column will override any other prompt result sets for the same column.
Has anyone found another way to do this, prior to release 10.1.3.3?

Yes, it is possible.
This is how to do it:
In your report you need to add two filters on the same column and combine them with OR.
First filter: is prompted.
Second filter: is like presentation_variable
Then protect this filter!* This will make that your prompt will be filtered on the pres. variable and that it won't be overwritten by another prompt.
Now create your dashboard prompt:
First add your column with an edit box and attach the presentation variable to it.
Then edit the formula of the column, so it will not reference to the column anymore. (Which isn't needed, since the value will be set to the pres. variable.)
Then add the same column with a multi-select.
Then test it and check your results.
