Multiple Column hiding in advance table using Switcher

Hi All,
I am having requirement of hiding multiple columns in advance table using swithers.
Lets says I am searching for the the parties in party search page. If the party is of type person then two columns should be visible one is firstName and LastName.
and If party is of type organization then firstName and lastName column shpould be hidden and only the PartyName column should be visible.
Is this possible through switchers if yes please explain?

Hi ,
This can be done through switcher case , along with switcher you also need to use SPEL binding the each of those attribute
that you wish to hide .
Go through delete exercise to understand how to implement switchers case .

The support for adding an item in advancedTable is supported from 11.5.10 CU3 onwards. But you can manually add an item in the personalization document and upload it and that should work. I had earlier provided the xml tags for doing that in one of threads and you should be able to find that in the forum. If you are not getting it I will search it for you. We supported the same way of addition using personalization in CU3 so manual addition in to the pers document should be fine for this requirement only.

Multiple Rows Selection In Advance Table

I have added multiple selection component in advance table component.
How should I make this functionality work for my custom region using the seeded submit button.

After selection these rows they get added to the record list of another page on click of seeded submit buttonon the click of submit button save the data to the table from where u are getting the data for the other page....Once this data get saved to the table, will definitely shows up in next page.

Multiple row selection in ADF Table using addition column with checkbox

I am using ADF table(Jdeveloper11g) and i want to selecte multiple rows it may be more than one OR all rows.
For that i added one Column to the table with Header Delete and checkbox

Problem is that when i select single row checkBox, onCheck() method of backing bean gets called multiple times(equals to the number of rows)
I think this is beacuse of <af:selectBooleanCheckbox id is same that is "checkbox" but i am not sure.Even i tried to assign some unique id but no any success in assigning Id with value Expression.

From the simillar post i follow the steps given by Frank.but problem with below step
->have an af:clientAttribute assigned to the checkbox with the following EL #{row.key} ,here I added <af:clientAttribute name="#{row.key}"></af:clientAttribute> and i am getting error
Error(64,37): Static attribute must be a String literal, its illegal to specify an expression.
Please let me know if any one had already implemented same test case.

Disable image in Advanced Table using SPEL

Hi All,
I am trying to render the image in Advanced table conditionally using SPEL in a custom page.
In the properties of Image bean, I added SPEL to render the Image conditionally.
When user clicks on the image, a popup will be shown.
It is working fine until this point, I am able to render the Image only for certain rows.
But the images which are rendered conditionally are disabled.
When I click on the image it does not show popup.
Please help me in resolving this issue

Writing several / multiple columns in a *.lvm file using write file option

Hello All,
I am doing several measurements and till now writing all the measurement in individual files thereby I am forced to use an external program to merge the files into one file of several columns.
Is there a possibility to write a *.lvm file (or some other possibility say a *.txt file but no excel) with multiple columns where each column stands for a particular data?
I am attaching a simple example where I have 4 different measurements (simulated using a regulator(I dont know how I can say this vi in english)??) which I am converting into array and trying to write them in a file of *.lvm extension. But the output is still a single column where every measurement is taking a different row which I dont want.

Instead of using the Build Array, just wire your scalars to the Merge Signals function. This will create 4 separate signals that will be written in 4 separate columns. With the existing 1D array, you could also use the Write to Spreadsheet File instead of Write to Measurement File.

Select All option in advance table selects all rows present in working page but doesnt select the rows which we get by clicking next button ... i am having a requirement to select all the rows with a single click on select all , is it possible ..

I'm using an adf table but i don't want to have the "Select All" and "Select None" options above the table. Does someone know how i have to remove those links?
Or is there indeed a solution to override the methodes of those links?

Multiple messages enqueuing into one table using Database Adapter

I am trying to fetch records from one table and insert into another table in the same database using two DB adapters each for one function.When trying for one record,it is working fine.But for more than one records using for-each loop I am unable to insert the records into the table.Can anyone suggest any solution.
For DB Adapter 1 and 2 I am selecting "Perform an operation on a Table".
Options being selected in case of both adapters:-
DB Adapter1-'select' and DB Adapter2- 'Insert'

Do not know the exact implementation how you have done but this is what you can do to narrow down the issue.
you can check out the instance to know whether you are able to fetch multiple records from the first table.
If that works fine then you can check the transformation whether the data is getting transformed in to correct format.
If that too works fine check out whether the invocation to second db adapter is fine or not.

Loading multiple .csv files into a table using SSIS

Hi,
I have a requirement where I have 200+ csv files to be loaded into Netezza table using SSIS.
Issue I am facing is all columns have different number of columns, for ex, file 1 has columns A,B,C and file 2 has columns C,D,E. My target table has all columns from A to E in it.
But, when I am using for each loop container, only the file for which I have specified filepath+filename in loop variable, that is getting loaded. Rest all files, no data is getting loaded from them and package is executing successfully.
Any help is appreciated.

if you want to iterate through files then all files should be in same folder and you should use file enumerator type within ForEach loop. Then inside loop you might need a script task to generate the data flow on the fly based on the avialble input columns
from the file and do the mapping in the destination. So I assume you put NULLs (or some default value) for missing columns from the file

Find duplication values from multiple columns in a big table

I am working on a 11gR2 database in linux. i want to display record that have duplicate values in 2 columns.
1. Table Structure :-

2. Sample Data:-

4. My requirement is i need display IDs that it's F_NAME or L_NAME has duplication in F_NAME or L_NAME columns.
The result should be
ID
1 reason: F_NAME (TONY) equals to L_NAME of record 4, L_NAME (SUMIT) equals to F_NAME of record 2
2 reason: F_NAME (SUMIT) equals to L_NAME of record 1
4 reason: L_NAME (TONY) equals to F_NAME of record 1
record 3, 5 aren't in the result because there is no duplication in F_NAME or L_NAME columns for NORA,SMITH, ROSS, TAM
The table contains 10 million records, i really need to consider the performance.

I know I will be opposed by many people in this forum for posting such in-efficient solution.
But trying to learn along with you.. its an interesting problem which must deal with all rows vs all rows to get all combinations.
But I am still thinking how to write it in SQL, probably will learn from this post after we receive some good SQL solution for the code what I am currently doing now.

If you want to insert multiple records from the webdynpro view table to database table then try the following code.

DATA it_tablenode LIKE STANDARD TABLE OF ls_tablenode.

lo_nd_tablenode = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_tablenode ).
get element via lead selection
lo_el_tablenode = lo_nd_tablenode->get_element( ).
get all declared attributes
lo_nd_tablenode->get_static_attributes_table(
IMPORTING
table = it_tablenode ).
MODIFY databasetablename FROM TABLE it_tablenode.
here it_tablenode is the internal table which holds the value from webdynpro view..

Formula for multiple columns in a new table

I've been using Numbers '08 for a while, but I've only been using rudimentary formulae such as "SUMIF" and "WEEKDAY." Recently I've been trying to put Numbers to better use. One major problem I've run into while writing a formula is this (I'm sure the question has been asked, yet I've searched the forums to no avail):
I want to have two tables -- the first table is where I want to input my information; the second table I would like to be able to manipulate that information. For instance, in the first table I have (apologies, but I'm not sure how to incorporate a screenshot into my text):

Now, in Table 2, easily enough I am able to write a formula (using "SUMIF") for the number of minutes I've spent in Rome, but how do I write a formula to show how much time I've spent in Paris while Green? Table 2 right now is looking something like:

Is this a job for "VLOOKUP"? Do I need to make auxiliary columns? I have many such computations I would like to be able to perform in multiple tables from one source (Table 1). Any guidance would be much appreciated.

With Numbers '09 you would use SUMIFS() but with Numbers '08 you must use auxikiary columns.
In Tableau 1
in column E the used formula is:

when i check the transactions(rows of OA pages) and submit then one column of a table will be updated in database.

Loading from multiple flat files to same table using SQL Loader

Hi Gurus,
Can anyone please brief me the pros and cons of kicking of multiple sql loader sessions that reads multiple flat files but inserting it into just one table.
The table is not partitioned. Avg record counts for each flat file is about 5-6 million.
Oracle 11g,

Pros -> Faster loading of more data
Cons -> Potential performance degradation
Test to see how much resource consuming this task would be and do a priority comparison of that multi-multi load task with other stuff that will be happening in the database in the multi-multi load time so you could decide how to share resources in that time.

How to use a USER_DATASTORE to index multiple columns in different tables

I would appreciate if somebody can give an example or point to links with examples on how to use USER_DATASTORE on multiple columns in different tables. THe Oracle Text documentation only shows multiple columns in the same table.

I am not sure why your getting the wrong results but you should seriously reconsider the approach your are taking. Using functions like this is very ineffecient and should be avoided at all cost.
