Multiple GL Acct Assignment for FRL Key

Dear All
We avail various type of services from our vendors. We want the services entry to be posted to different GL accounts for each type of services.
We have assinged one GL account for FRL Key in FI-MM-OBYC.
Is there any way to assign different GL account for each type of services in FRL Key or is there any way to resolve this requirement.
All your suggestions are highly appreciated.
Regards
A Chandrasekaran

Hi,
It is possible to post to multiple GL Accounts. Pls. do the following steps.
1) Go to OBYC t code.
2) Click on "Rules" Button.
3) You can see "Valuation Modifier" and "Valutaion Class" indicator.
4) Select both or either of one inidicator.
5) If you select both, you can specify a unique GL Account for a unique combination of Valuation Modifier and Valuation Class.
Hope this helps..

  • Change account assignment for posting key-urgent

    Dear expert,
    please advice, when running mb30, in accounting doc for material xxx we want to change account for posting key 91 with other account since the old one is blocked.How to change this account assignment then?
    Thank you

    Hi
    I am not sure whether MB30 Tcode exist. anyways, if you are sure of the Movement type with which your document is getting posted, then you can get the details of the Transaction in the OMWN. In OMWN please select the Movement type and you will see all the Tr Keys.
    Or you can get into OMWB and select Simulation. Give the material, plant and movemnet type and then select the account assignments you will have all the information.

  • Is There ANY Flexibility in BS Acct Assignment for Sales/Purchase Invoices?

    We are about to go live; and, we have a Chart of Accts that not only breaks out our Income Statement accounts by division, but also does so for our Balance Sheet accounts.  Even so, apparently B1 does not have the flexibility to modify the balance sheet acccounts used for tracking Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables at the marketing document level.  Since Business Partners may be purchasing (in the case of Customers) or selling (in the case of vendors) from any of our three divisions, we cannot setup a single AR or AP account in the BP record.  So, how do we best modify the B1 setup to have a manageable level of work to separate these transactions out into the multiple accounts?  Our ultimate goal is to be able to create three different BS, IS and SCF reports for each division.  However, the complexities of this larger task will be addressed later.  We have the SDK and are willing to make system modifications using this tool if we can achieve our desired result.
    Thank you for any and all assistance!

    I suppose I should also ask how cash and cash-equivalent BS accounts could be split out when receiving payment...

    Felipe, I GREATLY appreciate your response.  Your comments regarding means to simplify my creation of trials balances is appreciated.  However, I will not have the opportunity to put this to good use if I am not able to separate out the original data entry.
    I still do not see how to modify the default AR or AP account on a document.  Recall, any of my customers may be purchasing from any of the company's three divisions; and, any of my vendors may be selling to any of the three divisions.  Further, we do not want to maintain separate BP records for each customer, since this will require undue maintenance and/or problems with reporting.  I simply wish to have control of the AR and AP accounts used in the journal entry associated with an AR Invoice and AP Invoice.  I want to use division-specific balance sheet accounts instead of the one noted in the BP record.
    If I can obtain an answer for this, this I would also be interested in how to perform the same split for the several other balance sheet accounts, including (but not limited to) the Goods Clearing account, Inventory Returns account, Cash at Bank account, AR Adjustments account, et al.
    Thank you again!  If SDK changes are needed, this would be fine; but, any example of how to perform the code changes would be very much appreciated.  This would be my first jounral entry modification with the SDK.
    Kind Regards,

  • Multiple records are present for same key in lookup DSO

    Hi,
    I want to populate quantity value from lookup dso in target dso. I have written code to populate it in start and end routine. While populating value in target It is taking first value of quantity. there are two records in lookup and target DSO with same key and different Quantity value. there is not any common key field in lookup and target dso. So that I can not populate correct values in the target DSO.
    Can anyone suggest me for this?

    Hi All,
    I have written below code for populating Qty:
        LOOP AT RESULT_PACKAGE ASSIGNING <RESULT_FIELDS>.
          IF <RESULT_FIELDS>-/BIC/ZSHPCRTID IS NOT INITIAL.
            CLEAR  : WA_ITAB.
    READ TABLE IT_ITAB TRANSPORTING NO FIELDS WITH KEY
            /BIC/ZSHPCRTID = /BIC/ZSHPCRTID.
            IF SY-SUBRC = 0.
              TMP = SY-TABIX.
            ENDIF.
            LOOP AT IT_ITAB INTO WA_ITAB FROM TMP.
              IF WA_ITAB-/BIC/ZSHPCRTID <> /BIC/ZSHPCRTID.
                EXIT.
              ELSE.
                <RESULT_FIELDS>-BBP_SCQTY = WA_ITAB-BBP_SCQTY.
              ENDIF.
            ENDLOOP.
          ENDIF
        ENDLOOP.
    in this case my output/target DSO is:
    key1  key2    key3  qty
    1000   10       200   30
    1000   10       300   30
    1000    20      400   30
    Below is the lookup DSO data:
    key1   key2  key3   qty
    1000   10      1        10
    1000   10      2        20
    1000    20     3        30
    It is taking last record's qty value and putting it for all records.
    Please suggest something for this issue.

  • Acct determination for Account-assigned purchase order with keys not define

    Hi,
    I'm trying to post an IDOC of type BBPIV through XI to an R/3 system.
    The posted idoc in R/3 is in status 51 (Application document not posted) with the error message "Acct determination for Account-assigned purchase order with keys not defined in chart of acts WP2P"
    As per my understanding this is something related to FI.
    Long text of the error is "The system cannot generate an automatic posting because there is no account determination defined for Account-assigned purchase order with keys   in chart of accounts WP2P.
    Correct the account determination for Account-assigned purchase order"
    Please help me how to solve this.
    Regards,
    Rashmi

    Hiya,
    This looks like its a MM posting / transaction.
    You need to go to OBYC and maintain the account assignment. If you provide the business scenario (GR into Stock, Subcontracting, etc.) for the process, I may be able to help.
    VKOA is for SD account assignment and I don't believe you can use that here.
    Cheers.

    using limit PO, i can only maintain 1 project code.

  • Assignment field is not getting populated in KSB1 for posting key 50

    Hi All,
    We are uploading entries thru excel in SAP.
    For posting key 50 assignment field is not getting populated in KSB1.
    But for posting key 40 it is getting populated correctly.
    All setting (FSG, posting key details) are same for both the keys.
    No substitution defined in SAP.
    There is no issue for FBL3N for both the posting keys, only issue with KSB1.
    Any idea what could be the reason for this?
    Thank you.
    Akash

    KSB1 is CCtr report..
    if it is revenue normally it will be treated as statistical posting in CCtr accounting- for the cost element when it is defined as revenue element.. - check Cost elements - whether it is Cost and cost reducing or revenue element--
    possibility this can be one of the reason.

    A call-off is created with reference to the Sales Contract.
    Similarly, when PGI is performed in VL01N, encountered error message "Maintain account determination (table T030B) for posting key IGX (Message no. M8395)" that does not allow PGI to get through.
    Checked in OBYC, there is no transaction key for IRX and IGX.

  • No entry for account key 1002 in HRA transaction key in Account assignment

    Dear sap-gurus,
    the following problem occured. When posting a document (s-modelling), system displayed an error that there is no entry for account key 1002 in HRA transcation key in SPRO Account assignment.
    The document's size is very big, it considers many lime items in it.  May be this happened because of this?
    In F1 for SPRO Account assignment we have:
    In this step, you assign a document split account to an account key. This is a clearing acount (Transaction HRA) in Accounting.
    For various reasons, payroll data that is formatted for posting to accounting must be split into several documents per posting run. In Human Resources (HR), key 1001 is used for the breakdown of documents. A breakdown occurs if:
    There are several company codes
    There are different posting dates
    There are postings to G/L accounts, customer accounts, vendor accounts
    This is specified in the step Create Posting Variants (for example, document breakdown for expenses and payables)
    The document split account that is stored under the key 1001 is also used to clear the balance within a G/L account document for each business area.
    An additional split may be required depending on the size of the document in Financial Accounting. In this case, the clearing account specified under account key 1002 in transaction HRA, is used as the document split account.
    Further notes
    To avoid problems in current operations, it is advisable to set up a document split account even if a document breakdown is not necessary. In this way, you can avoid having to set up the system at short notice if changes are made to the settings or if there is an increased number of postings, or if cross-company code transactions occur.
    We have an entry 1001 and a clearing account for postings between several company codes. What are we supposed to do? How to avoid this error and post the documents to FI? Please, help!
    Best regards,
    Eldar

    1st check in OME9 t.code for account assignment A, the selection of 2(Multiple account ***)in field ID: AcctAssgt Scrn and Distribution field as 1.

  • How shall we do validation for Unique Key and Multiple Primary Key?

    Hi,
    I have table created From EO in which one column is checked as Unique.
    How to do validation for column checked as Unique.
    I know how to do validation for column checked as primary key.
    Below is sample code for primary key validation
    if (getRvSize() != null)
    throw new OAAttrValException(OAException.TYP_ENTITY_OBJECT,
    getEntityDef().getFullName(), // EO name
    getPrimaryKey(), // EO PK
    "RvSize", // Attribute Name
    value, // Attribute value
    "AK", // Message product short name
    "FWK_TBX_T_EMP_ID_NO_UPDATE"); // Message name
    if (value != null)
    OADBTransaction transaction = getOADBTransaction();
    Object[] rvKey = {value};
    EntityDefImpl rvDefinition = xxczVAGCSRVSizingEOImpl.getDefinitionObject();
    xxczVAGCSRVSizingEOImpl rv =
    (xxczVAGCSRVSizingEOImpl)rvDefinition.findByPrimaryKey(transaction, new Key(rvKey));
    if (rv != null)
    throw new OAAttrValException(OAException.TYP_ENTITY_OBJECT,
    getEntityDef().getFullName(), // EO name
    getPrimaryKey(), // EO PK
    "RvSize", // Attribute Name
    value, // Attribute value
    "AK", // Message product short name
    "FWK_TBX_T_EMP_ID_UNIQUE"); // Message name
    What changes need to be done for above code in order to do the validation for Unique Key.
    I have one more Question
    How shall we do the Validation for Multiple Primary Key in a table?
    - Mithun

    1. If you just validate on one attribute like your unique key, then put your logic in the set<Your AttributeName) method
    2. If you want to do the cross validation ( like validating multiple attributes) then put your logic in the validateEntrity Method
    How to do that?
    1. Create a Validation View object.
    2. Associate your VVO to the VAM
    3. Create entity expert.
    4. Have method in entity expert for your validation (you would be calling AM and then VO execute the query and do the validation.
    5. You would be calling the Entity experty method from your EO either setMethods or validateEntity.
    I have given just the high level points.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    RK

  • SRM7.0 Multiple  G/L account assignment for a product category

    Hi All,
    In SRM7.0 , it is possible to maintain multiple G/L accounts for a prodict category and account assignment combination. For example , for a product Category XX and account assignment CC , we can maintain more than one G/L account with one G/L as default. While creating the Shopping Cart , the G/L account is defaulted. However when we do F4 search on the G/L , then system is bringing all the G/L accounts from the backend through the search help from ECC. In that case what is the use of maintaining multiple G/L accounts in the SRM configuration? Is there any other config that is reqd? We thought system would restrict to those G/L account that are maintained in the config.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    It seems due to small differences between debit and credit side you are not able to post the document price differences). Check all the data to create an entry first and  Check the data format. Can you check  in OBYC is there a way  to  have a transaction DIF (Materials management small differences) post to different GL accounts based on valaution class (plant)?
