Has anyone written a program that takes the spool jobs of multiple Invoices from table TSP01 and then download these multiple invoices to multiple PDF files or to
One PDF file depending on selection screen?
This is an urgent request from client for archiving. Any help is highly appreciated !

Excise Invoice Print problem for multiple Invoices

I Have developed a Zprint prog and zsmartform and attached it to standard tcode J1IP .
when we execute J1IP outputtype J1I10 we get multiple invoices . if we select one check box and execute and press print preview/ print we get the print correctly . But if we check multiple check boxes and press print/preview then we have to press print button multiple times/come back for every invoice .
My requirement is when we execute J1iP for multiple invoices it should not come multiple times pop up window ..ie in one print request we need to send multiple invoices . How to achieve this functionality.

use NO_OPEN and NO_CLOSE fields of CONTROL_PARAMETERS structure
in Your call to smart form function module.
Currently You print every invoice in separate spool request.
You should print all invoices in one big spool requests.
Set NO_CLOSE = X to all, except last one, and NO_OPEN = X to all, except first one.

Combine Spool Job Contents ..

Hello Experts,
I'm hoping someone can help with this. I have a requirement to create adobe print forms for a set amount of employees. The problem I'm having is that I can get the spool job to create. In side the spool job, it is broken into parts. The pdf form created is 8 pages for one employee. If I print 5 employees, the spool job will have 40 pages, but the job is split into 5 segments of 8 pages. The issue I'm having is that I need to get all 40 pages in one file to send to a printer. I've tried a number of things but I can't seem to get the spool job to print to pdf on a local machine. The only alternative I can find is to get the segments of the spool job into one big file.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Points will be awarded for any help.

Hi,
i have the same problem than the original poster. I call FP_JOB_OPEN/FP_JOB_CLOSE only once, and only one spool job is created. But inside this job there are several parts and each part is an own pdf document. It is possible to read each part/file separately, but i found no possibility to get one big pdf with all parts.
Does anybody have an idea how to solve this?

Generate Multiple Invoices in One PDF

Hi,
I have requirement whereby I need to generate multiple invoices in one PDF file. I am using Oracle BI Publisher with Oracle APEX 4.0.2
If there is only one invoice that needs to be generated in one PDF file then I already have the solution whereby I print the APEX page item session state values on Invoice Header and get the invoice line items from a SQL Query in my RTF template.
However how to the do the same when multiple invoice needs to be generated in one single PDF file ?
Any pointers will highly appreciated.

Once you've got the query returning multiple rows, then just add a repeating group to your report (if an existing report, just select the section of the document that will repeat -> add-ins menu -> insert repeating group...; or right click selection -> BI Publisher -> Create group...), wherein the column values exist. You can even specify a page break at the end.

PDF with multiple invoices I need collated copies printed

First off, I would like to say I am an IT professional so the obvious things I have already tried. Here is the situation:
I have a business application that outputs shipping invoices and packing slips into a PDF. That single PDF has many slips and some are multiple pages long. I need to print 3 copies of each slip as part of the business SOP. Right now I have to manually collate each one and it takes hours. The printer does support collating, BUT it treats it as a single document. Not a document that has multiple documents inside of it. So if I put on collate, they are printed in order, but then I have to seperate each set of copies. That process actually takes longer than printing them not collated.
The only way I can think of it would be somehow tagging the seperate pages automatically so the print driver knows it is a seperate document within the single file. They all have page x of y on each page. But open to other ideas.
Is there some way to print this how I need it? It isn't a simple solution but this would eliminate 2-4 hours of manual collating each day. Any ideas? Right now it is using adobe reader, but if they have more advanced option in the pro version I am sure the company would gladly invest in it.

Open the document in Acrobat Reader and use the menu Window > New Window.

How to exreact multiple pdf files from a zip files from application server to presentation server

I am passing one pdf file and one text file to zip file in apllication server through my custom program and then downloading it using standard function module to my desktop. its working fine. Then I added another pdf file to my zip file. But only single pdf file is getting download . So can you please help me regardiong this issue?

Can no longer print multiple files from a PDF package

Prior to our upgrade to Acrobat Pro X, we had the ability to print multiple files within a PDF package. We would simply select the files we wanted to print, say print and it would print them all. It no longer does so, although it still allows us to select multiple files and to select ALL from the print menu but then it only sends the first file to the printer.
We have tried it on both Windows XP and Windows 7 and it won't work correctly on either one.
Does anyone have any ideas? This is very frustrating as these packages are created by folks bundling their e-mail messages to send to the fileroom for printing and filing in the official case files. With the old method we were able to quickly print out all the messages without attachments, and then would only have to individually print those messages that had attachments. As stands now if we get a package with 100 messages in it we will have to select and print each file individually instead of being able to print the 75 without attachments as one print job and then only have to do the seperate handling for the remaining 25 with attachments.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I'm using windows 7. The Acrobat that came with the Adobe Creative Suit 4 is Adobe Acrobat Pro. When I am on a web site that has a page in PDF I click on the printer icon and the print page comes up but the preview side is blank and will not print the page.

Multiple file types to PDF

I have a need to combine images and documents into a single PDF. Using automator, I am able to make an application that combines selected images in the finder into a pdf, but it doesn't work on text documents. So, I found this application that adds a text to PDF conversion into automator.

However, I have never gotten this converter to work, and I certainly haven't found any way to combine one automator workflow using both of these at the same time.
With OSX's ability to save just about any file to a PDF from the print menu, I am thinking it should be easier than what I am doing. After all, it's built into the OS, right? So, am I missing something? Is there an easier way to take multiple documents like .rtf and .doc, with images like .jpg and .tif all at once and combine them into a single PDF? I am not stuck on using an automator application, I would gladly purchase reasonably priced software that is capable of doing this, but I have been looking and have been unable to find anything to do what I need. Of course, I found quite a few applications for windows, but nothing for mac. Any help would be appreciated.

Wow, thanks. That was extremely helpful, but I have a couple questions.
First, is there a way to make it print to CUPS without opening the default application for the particular file first? For example, I used a .docx file, and it had to open microsoft word to send the job the print. This makers it very unpredictable to decide how much time the automator application will need to pause. If that file were for example, and adobe illustrator file, it would take an incredible amount of time just for illustrator to open. I don't really anticipate needing to do this a whole lot with anything other than text files and standard image types, but is that the only way for those other files to print? I figured that since OS 10.6 can do a quick look preview on just about any file type I use, that the OS would be able to do this without the application actually opening, but it seems not to be the case. Just wondering.
The other issue is the only real problem, and it's one that I have had whenever I use automator to make PDFs. It always duplicates the job. So, I am getting a combined pdf, but it has the same file in there 2 or even 3 times.
In automator, I used:
get selected finder items
then
print finder items
I have verified that it is printing everything multiple times because I see them going into the CUPS folder twice. Then, the final PDF sometimes even has the same doc or image in it 3 times. I have always had this problem with automator and PDFs, any idea how to solve that?

In WAS, a BSP page is there. Whenever multiple invoice is selected, all the selected invoice should be displayed in single pdf.

Please also check the customize settings to in Tr:OME9, under 'partial
invoice' what is the settings to the cost center.
Also note in MIRO, system distribute the corresponding GR quantity into
acc.assignment's items proportionately based on the indicator 'Partial
invoice' and the data 'Distribution percentage'(VPROZ) in the screening
'acc.assignment' within the PO/item.
You can change the "Partial invoice' in the screening 'acc.assignment"
as '1' (Apportion IR quantities to GR quantities one after another)
instead of using 2 "Apportion IR quantities to GR quantities
proportionately".
Please check also include LMRMKF02.

How do I: put multiple PDF pictures into one PDF page?

I have just installed Adobe Acrobat Pro Ver 9 - so this apllication and its associated SDK are the only applications available to me for use.
Adobe Acrobat was chosen because of its AutoCAD capabilities (when AutoCAD is not present). i.e. Using Acrobat & AutoCAD's plot configuration files & Pen / colour selection table ensures the output has correct line thicknesses (sometimes colours in CAD are used to represent a line's thickness) - this is preserved when using Acrobat.
The generated output is fantastic. However, when I try to print the output via Excel / Word (used for layout) - my perfect output is reduced to imperfect results.
So: is it possible to layout multiple PDF pictures inside one PDF entity for printing purposes such that the original output is not distorted?
I have in the past put pages in front or behind other pages but cannot find any references or code that works with Pro 9 nor indeed the manual way to insert PDF pages at any location on a single PDF Page?
I'll try and explain. My template coud consist of 6 boxes on a single A4 page thus:
My base PDF Page (can be thought of as a template - ideally it wont be printed - but even if it is - it wont be printed on any media material) has 6 areas (any number of areas up to 100) on it. In each area, there is a box. It is within these boxes that I wish to place a PDF Picture. Not all pictures will be the same. How can I do that? Ideally I'd like some example C# code - though doing it as a user will suffice, for now.
Is there a way of programmatically selecting each of the above boxes on the base PDF Document?
I do know of one manual method (though it seems long winded) and it is not accurate enough in that (even though the layers are deselected) - the hidden layers are subsequently outputed too - not good!
Uses a button icon over each box.
All the current Adobe help for the SDK refers to Pro 8 and previously - which all seems to have now been replaced in Pro 9
This question will be placed in the Developer & User Forums - as it pertains to both.

The PDF was generated using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 from an AutoCAD LT (DWG) file without AutoCAD being present but making use of a plot configuration (PC3) file & pen table (CTB) file. The resultant file [WhatIWantToSee.pdf] is perfect - all the lines are the right thickness & colour and are perfect vectors (with no construction / proofing layers visible). When you view that file in Acrobat and show the "Layers" property box, you see that the correct number of layers whilst are still present are indeed turned off.
However, when I add a forms-button to one of the rectangles (please refer to initial post - where there are 6 rectangles), and display same file as icon display. The resultant view is the one shown above named [ What I get and don't want to see]. It seems the saved layer settings are all ignored?
I generated the PDF file through Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Menu | File | Create PDF | From File (Files of type Autodesk) | Options | Selected Layers | Layout | Last Active Layout.

I am not aware of a way except for photos that allows you to select multiple files in an email. I even checked settings in the Adobe Reader app, and it does not show that ability.

Content of Internal table should to downloaded to an excel sheet with multiple worksheet.

Excel doesn't support multiple worksheets with the text tab delimited or any of the other plain text formats. So if you need multiple worksheets those approaches are out. Multiple worksheets would only work with the Excel native format or the XML based format. From ABAP the best approach would be to create the XML Excel format. Search the forms and wiki has there has been tons of discussion in the mast on the XML Excel format.

Multiple Invoices for a Invoice Document Number

Hi BW Gurus I need your help and quick hint, I have a purchasing cube that recieve the data from 2lis_02_itm and fiap line item ofi_gl_4 which is document item purchasing and account payable, problem is report is showing the PO number and Invoice number and amount, but amount is total of multiple invoice but report only display the invoice number of least invoice amount instead of showing all the invoice numbers so I built the RRI but now problem is how ill the user know that Invoice number in display has multiple invoices and its not the all invoice numbers so he need to use rri, please tell if there is any counter field or any way we can identify the that the invoice number has multiple invoices

How do I create multiple invoice batches with
a single submission of Payables open interface import.

standard functionality of oracle does not allow you to do that ....
You either validate Invoice batches one by one .... or you execute the Invoice Validation program for all Invoice Batches ....
However i can suggest an workaround if your are not making use of the Pay Group feature ...
Pay group is a value that we configure in advance and assign it to the Invoices or the Invoice Batches ....you can see this value as one of the parameter in the Invoice Validation program .....
This is how the workaround works ...
1) You create a dummy value for a Paygroup ..
2) You assign this dummy value to the Invoice Batches that you want to validate ...
3) Run the Invoice Validation program leaving the Invoice batch name parameter value blank and select the dummy value in the Paygroup field .....
4) Verify the results ....
