Multiple Planning functions on WAD

Dear all,
I have a copy planning function, what i need is to run that copy function and automatically save results after that.
I can create planning function, but there is no function as 'Save' therefore i can not create a planning sequence for that.
What else i can do for to copy versions first and then save?
I am using biip, and wad.

please note that the following is related to BI-IP:
A planning sequence needs a filter and a planning function. Both are defined on an aggregation level. It is no problem to create a planning sequence which works on different aggregation levels, meaning the filter 1 and planning function 1 is build on the aggregation level 1 and filter 2 and planning function 2 is build on aggregation level 2.
The system reads the current keyfigure values according to the underlying aggregation level and used filter values and executes the planning function for the current settings.
In BI-IP you do not need to save data during planning as long as you stay in the same WebTemplate. The system stores the changed data into the delta buffer, which is part of the planning buffer. When you save the data the content of the delta buffer is saved.

Hi Amit,
insert your planning function as a command in WAD ("EXEC_PLANNING_FUNCTION"). In the screen where you enter the technical name of your planning function you can also insert Data Bindings. There you can do a selection binding for a special characteristic or a variable value. If you want to assign a static (fix) value to a variable for example you can do a variable binding (technical name of variable/variable type "Variable Input String"/Variable Input String: set the required value).
The same thing can be done executing planning sequences within WAD.

Authorization issue in WAD when executing planning function

Hi All,
I am facing the bellow authorization issue-
Termination message sent
WARNING BRAIN (800): You do not have the authorization for component !!AZF2PO_AGR
MSGV1: ZF2PO_AGR
MSGV2: REP
MSGV3: !!AZF2PO_AGR
MSGV4: 16
ABEND RSBOLAP (002): No Authorization
I am getting this issue When Calling Planning function from WAD application using button. This authorization fail is happening in portal when the Planning function is executed.
Error explains that there is no authorization for component u201C!!AZF2PO_AGRu201D.Where as in actual we donu2019t have any component as stated.
Instead we have an aggregation level with technical name ZF2PO_AGR.
We have already Assigned the below Planning objects-
S_RS_ALVL
S_RS_PLENQ
S_RS_PLSE
S_RS_PLSQ
S_RS_PLST
To Summarize-There is a web application with button linked to planning functuion.When clicked on this button after execution of web template we get the above error.
Have found note 1000006,but it says Support package 12 and all but we in support package 20

I know this thread is answered but I have a similar problem I think.
I have a WAD that is published to the portal. I have added the WAD to a page via a hyperlink, the page resides in KM. When a user opens the page, via a URL iView, the see the page, but when they click on the link to open the WAD, I get the following error:
Portal runtime error.
An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.
Exception ID: 07:19_26/02/10_0067_18934750
Refer to the log file for details about this exception.
When I assign the Super Admin (UME Role) to the user, they can execute the WAD no problem.
I am not an Authorizations person, so any pointers as to where I should start looking would be greatly appreciated.

Delte row in analysis item from planning function

Hello,
how can i implement a command function to delete a whole row in the planning function in WAD?
I want that i user can mark a whole row and push after it a button to delete it.

Input enable query column using Planning function

Is it possible to input enable a column in query based on user action in Radio button group or button group by calling a planning function or WAD?
By default the column property for query will be Planning not allowed, but a user action should change the mode to Planning allowed using planning function or entries.

you could try to write an exit data slice and a planning function which sets the data slice to not lock the data during runtime. You can find several threads in this forum. how an exit data slice can be used to control the locking of data during runtime.
Together with the command I mentioned in my last answer this may work, but it still depends on your requirements. A dataslice checks only the combination of characteristics. If you can identiy a characteristic for each column this may work. If not, there is no characteristic combination which can be locked. Please consider this when designing your application. This may lead to an additional characteristic which is used just to identify which column should be locked.

How to pass multiple values from workbook to planning function ?

Hi,
I have created Planning function in Modeler and it has one parameter(Variable represents = Multiple single values).
When executing the planning function by create planning seq. in the web template : I see value of variable store data like ...
A.) input one value -> V1
B.) input three values -> V1;V2;V3
This function execute completely in web.
However, I want to use the planning function in workbook(Excel).
The value of variable can't input V1;V2;V3... I don't know how to pass multiple values from workbook to parameter(Multiple single values type) in planning function ?

Javascript to Execute a button or planning function onload of WAD template

How do I call a javascript to execute a planning function or a button that has a planning function.
I tried creating a script using script web item and wizard to execute a planning function. The wizard generated a javascript function that has two parameters currentState, defaultCommandSequence
I can call the function inside the body tag using OnLoad but what parameters do I need to pass for currentState and defaultCommandSequence.
Is there any other way of doing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Whatever u hav done is correct. There is no need to transfer any values for the parameters
currentState and defaultCommandSequence .
They r automatically derived based upon the current state of ur WAD template and the sequence of commands that you executed till now..
Try this.. its working fine in my project since long time.

WAD execute planning function only for manually selected cells

Hello,
I have a simple standard "delete" planning function. In the WAD I add this function as a button.
Is it possible to make it so that the delete function only executes for the manually selected cells in the WAD planning layout.
I want to manually select 3 cells (3 periods out of 12 that are displayed as fixed columns) and then run the delete function which should only delete values of those 3 highlighted cells.

Deleting values in selected cells is not ossible when using delete planning function. However, there is an alternative. You can implement the How-To guide "How to Copy and Paste in BEx Web Applications for IP http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/80220fed-0e6d-2b10-bbb9-f6af76dee0cc"
Then in delete script function which is called on delete button you add code to call REFRESH_DATA command as well.
So whatever cell you select and then click delete the data will be deleted and by REFRESH_DATA the same will be updated in planning buffer.

How to pass multiple single values to parameter in planning function?

I can not pass the variables (multiple single Values) from Input Layouts(BexAnalyzer) to Planning Function Types...Anyone have any idea for setting the parameter in the function types. I use the exit class CL_RSPLFC_BPS_EXITS.
My Parameter Type is Elementary and also use variables allowed

If you want to use the class as in a planning function type, proceed as follows:
1. Create an InfoObject that accepts the name of the function module as a characteristic value. We recommend that you create an InfoObject of type character with length 30 and indicate that this InfoObject is "Without Master Data".
2. In transaction RSPLF1, create a new function type. Chose the "Reference Data" option and enter the name of the class. This does NOT imply that reference data is read automatically, but results from the requirements for implementing the class.
3. On the "Parameter" tab page, create two parameters - one for the exit module and one for the init module. The parameters should be "elementary". Chose the InfoObject you created in step two as the dedicated InfoObject. The names of the parameters are determined from the values of constant P_C_NAME_EXIT_PARAM and P_C_NAME_INIT_PARAM.
4. If you require additional parameters in your function module (called exit parameters), you create these parameters as elementary parameters (with appropriate InfoObjects). Note an additional predefined parameter here - in many function modules, the name of the area is used from which the module is called. The area is not used in BI Integrated Planning but it may be the case that an area was created in BPS which only uses the current InfoCube. For this reason, you can create a parameter with the name specified in constant P_C_NAME_AREA_PARAM by specifying the name of this area to the function module. The value of this parameter is passed on to the function module in the interface as the value of the importing parameter I_AREA. Note that this technology can generally only by used for Basis InfoCubes and simple planning areas (not multi- planning areas or MultiProviders).
You can create additional elementary parameters as long as the names do not correspond to the predefined names. The class automatically recognizes the additional parameters and transfers them to table IT_EXITP in the function modules.
5. After you have activated the planning function type, you can create planning functions and fill the parameters accordingly.

How to suppress Messages in WAD, when planning functions executed

Hi IP and WAD Gurus,
I would like to know , how to suppress messages when planning functions is executed using Web template , so if a select suppress messages option in the template , it won't even let error messages displayed.
Please let me know how it can be done. where only Error messages should be displayed by suppressing standard messages

BI-IP - Bex Analyser - select excel single row and aplly planning function

Hi experts,
In BI-IP (BW 7) with Bex Analyser, is it possible to select a single excel row (or a range of rows) and then apply a planning function? I know that in WAD it's possible with the binding option to select a single web item.
The purpose is to apply a revaluation factor to selected (by the user) cost elements rows in the workbook.

It is possibel in WAD to select one or many rows while executing Functions such as--Reposting; Revaluation etc.
However, you should be in a position to select the rows based on....unique identifier such as Require ID; Request #; Serial #; ....this is more so in case of multiple entries for the same cost element for different combinations.

Authorization problem in executing a Planning Function

Hi All,
We are facing an authorization issue while executing a planning function in a WAD template.
The error message is :
The planning function ended with errors.
The user does not have authorization on infoprovider YF2IGM37.
But the relevant authorizations have already been provided to the said user for:
S_RS_ALVL,S_RS_PLENQ ,S_RS_PLSE ,S_RS_RLSQ, S_RS_PLST along with authorization for
Cube, multiprovider, query as well as aggregation layer.
Could anyone pls help us resolving the issue.

Check any authorization relevant infoobject user is not authorized for.
For example, if company code is authorization relevant,and in your query any default company code is provided, user may not have the relevant access.

Use of forecast planning function in Integrated planning

Hi,
Filter is indeed used in IP similar to how planning package was used in BPS. There really is no difference 'conceptually'.
What you have seen is the different options IP offers compared to BPS regarding planning function execution. You can execute planning function directly or using a planning sequence in an application (although in planning modeler, its only a planning sequence that can be executed, for eg., for testing purpose).
If you just execute a planning function without specifying any restriction, it will operate on the entire set of planning data. Whether its a planning sequence or planning function, the data it operates on can be restricted by binding the various characteristics (or variables) using various DPs in the application. What kind of dynamic selection are you looking at?

IP - Is it possible to call exit planning function from ABAP Report..

Is it possible to call exit planning function from ABAP Report (t-code SE38) ? Or I mean is not limited only to be called from ABAP Report, perhaps from BSP / Web-Dynpro / Function Module.
If somebody here has been doing it before, I'm keen to ask to kindly share it. Particularly how to call and transfer data to that exit function.
Or if somebody has done in BPS, appreciate if it can be shared too .

You can achive this as suggested by Mattias in your previous post.
Lets say you have next data structure:
CostCenter | Amount | PercentForDistibution |
Create input ready query in this format. Restrict cost center by variable type range.
Create WAD with analysis item.
When you run web page you enter range of cost centers (lets say you will enter 101004 to 101010).
I assume you have data only for 101004 in your cube (lets say 1000).
You will see only one record in your webpage.
CostCenter | Amount | PercentForDistibution |
101004       | 1000     | NOTHING
When you create WAD in analysis item properties set "NUMBER_OF_NEW_LINES" to lets say 1 (so in WAD you will see always one blank line for entering new data).
Just add 6 new records:
CostCenter | Amount   | PercentForDistibution |
101005       | NOTHING| 10
101006       | NOTHING| 30
101007       | NOTHING| 20
101008       | NOTHING| 25
101009       | NOTHING| 5
101010       | NOTHING| 10
Then run planning FOX function like this:
FOREACH Z_COST_CENTER.
IF {Amount, Z_COST_CENTER} <> 0
Z_AMNT_TO_DISTRIBUTE = {Amount, Z_COST_CENTER}.
ENDIF.
ENDFOR.
FOREACH Z_COST_CENTER.
