Multiple search helps in ABAP Adobe interactive forms not working....

Hello,
I am working on my first interactive form. I have a couple of fields to which I have attached a search help. However, I am able to use the search help for only one field in a session. If I use the search help on one field then I am unable to use it on another field which uses the search help.
Can some one help? I am new to interactive forms and this is my first form.

Hi Leena,
Are the Data dictionary fields which you are using contains value range. Because i am only getting value help only for the fields for which there is value range defined in the dictionary. The problem is only for the fields for which there is no value range defined. If you have solution to this problem I will definitely award points to you. Hi Experts,
is it possible to use Drag and Drop functionality together with Adobe Interactive forms in Web Dynpro ABAP? I consider dragging object (like texts) to interactive form placed in Web Dynpro.

I think I understand but just to make it clear. I use texts created using function module "SAVE_TEXT". In my Web Dynpro I select one or more of them and use the button "insert text" (with appropriate functionality behind it) to insert them to specified location in my PDF form opened in this Web Dynpro. Considering what you said it is not possible to replace this "insert text" button by drag and drop functionality. Am I correct?

Value Help in online Adobe Interactive Form

Hi All,
One of our clients needs value help in Adobe Interactive form for Java Webdynpro.
But I got a problem in value help. For the first time when I click the button its working fine but the next time itu2019s not working.
The whole screen is locked and no event is triggered for the next time.
I am using Adobe Lifecycle Designer 8.0, Netweaver Studio 7.13 and the display type is ZCI(native).

Adobe Interactive Form Not Editable

Hi,
I have created Adobe Interactive Form using Web Dynpro Java Application.When i run the application i get the pop up message [The document enabled extented features in Adobe Reader.The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available.please contact the author for the original version of this document.].When i click for the pop up message the form is not interactive.If there is Adobe Life Cycle Designer and Adobe Reader version problem for this.Let me know if any one facing the same issue.

1. Check the Adobe form Version (from 7.1 to 8)
2. Installed Adobe form Extended Language Support Font Pack to Adobe ,if you are using some other language in Adobe form
3. Check the ADS Version.

Problem with Input help inside an adobe interactive forms

Hi Experts,
I'm currently implementing a Webdynpro ABAP application containing a Interactive forms.
I'm using Adobe Live Cycle Designer 8.0, Acrobat reader 9.2, Internet Explorer 7.0
My problem is that when I click on the "input help" button inside the adobe form, he automatically refresh all the forms UI element with their initial values. Is-it a refresh event included when we pressed the "Input help" button or an other event? How Can I deactivate that action, event?
Because since he automatically refresh my form data I loose the context current values.

strange, but you could compare the version of the zci scripting
in your form in the hierarchy tab there are variables and the ContainerFoundation_JS script --> the first line

The system opens a new browser window with the trace output. The trace may contain an error entry ("Network Error", and so on). The URL also activates the Adobe document services (ADS) trace. The trace outputs of the ADS are copied to the generated PDF document as an attachment. Open the file "Error.pdf" of the ADS trace: Form errors (for example, script errors) are listed there.

Help Needed with Adobe Interactive Forms scripts

Hi Gurus,
I have an Interactive form in which I have 5 radio buttons. Upon selecting any one of the radio buttons, some values (Ex : If user selects the first radi button 20 should be displayed in the text box. If he selects the second 21 should be displayed in the textbox.). In my script, I need to capture the checked value of the radio buttons ( They are grouped) and how I should reference radio button on the form/subform

You need to be able to get the value of the radio (var help = this.rawValue), use the condition (if (){} else {} )and set the value (this.rawValue = "").

ADOBE Interactive Form not getting displayed in Browse

Hi,
Currently I am working on EhP4 project on ECC 6.0 environment. For HCM, We have interactive ADOBE forms for MSS. While testing we found that all buttons are displayed in a browser (we are are window 7 IE 8 ) but interactive form is not getting displayed in the browser (Fill out Form as part of MSS). It only displays a line
Checked ADS configuration as per oss note and works ok. Did HTTPWATCH - browser is getting (GET) the Adobe forms with values but not displaying it. If I copy URL from HTTPWATCH GET line in a separate browser window it displays the form.

We were having this same problem, and this Note fixed the issue (thanks!). However, we are still experiencing another issue with HCM Processes and Forms under EhP4. Before this Note, it took about ten minutes before "single line display" would show up. Now after the Note, we get the full form, but it still takes ten solid minutes of waiting before it appears in the window. We're pretty sure it's not a Portal issue, nor an ADS issue, but something with the web dynpros on the ABAP side. However, we have not yet been able to resolve it. Anyone else run into this performance problem with HCMP&F after upgrading to EhP4? We don't have the problem with EhP3.

Dynamic table in webdynpro interactive form not working. Urgent

Hi guys,
I am facing a problem when trying to retreive data entered in interactive form dynamic table.i can get the data entered in non dynamic fields no problem.
I have a node structure like this
Root
Data 1...1 singleton and non tried both
Table 1...n singleton and non tried both
In my adobe form i tried adding rows using add instance, and also using add button in webdynpro native. In the same method that adds row i simulated the submit button to create row in WD context! It adds rows but any data entered later is lost. One more thing i have noticed is it sometimes works after adding just one row! Data is passed to context but from next row it doesnt work! What am i missing?
I also tried adding a button in webdynpro tray and adding the row directly to the context. new row is created in form but any data entered in new rows is lost!
I am unable to obtain the data entered in Dynamic fields. I thought i would try the xml reading method but the problem is after crating a couple of rows dynamically if i go save pdf locally the new rows are not showing up in the pdf!
I have seen a post which said using the if_wd_iactive handler to set the form as dynamic but that method is not available in our system! Sorry i am not in front of an SAP system so i cant type exact names!
I tried using zci update program/ etc etc but i am still struggling at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated! Pls ask if you need more info.

problem solved! I had to recreate the form. not sure if i corrupted the webdynpro scripts etc by mistake.

DropDown in Online Interactive Forms Not working.

I am working on Online Interactive Form for Purchase Requisition.
I have a dropdown in the dynamic table and I am trying to populate the same in DoInit().
I am using the following code. But the drop down is displayed empty.

Can any one tell me what is wrong with the above code? and provide a sample code for the same.
Actually I have a dropdown for UOM in the table and trying to populate it.
The hierarchy is as follows
BAPI_REQUISITION_CRE ->CHANGING -> REQUISITION_ITEM->DATA->Unit

Create a context node A with cardinality 1..1 and in this create a context node A1 with cardinality 0..n and in this node create attributes TEXT and VALUE.
Now goto method and in that method using code wizard read the node A1.
And use the below code snippet sample in your program
*Declare the TYPES
TYPES : BEGIN OF TY_TABLE,
               TEXT TYPE SOMETYPE,
               VALUE TYPE SOMETYPE,
              END OF TY_UOM.
*Define Internal Table and work area.
DATA : IT_TABLE TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF TY_TABLE INITIAL SIZE 0,
           WA_TABLE TYPE TY_TABLE.
SELECT TEXT VALUE FROM TABLENAME INTO TABLE IT_TABLE.
lr_node_info->bind_table( IT_TABLE ).
And in the Adobe Form Layout
Go to Menu of the Adobe LiveCycle Designer:
Tools>Options..>DataBinding
In that window u just check the Show Dynamic properties Check Box.
Now for the Drop Down go the binding tab in object palette and click on the list items and there specify the text as the internal table text field and value as internal table value field and select the internal table.

WebDynpro ActiveX Button in Interactive form- not working in IE

Hi,
1) I am working with Interactive forms in WebDynpro. When I deploy the application, the PDF form is opens in a browser window, But the WebDynpro ActiveX button ( to call a method in view Controller) is not working.
When I copy the URL and try in another sysetm, its working.
I hope the probelem is with the browser settings.
2) And also, the 'https' URLs does not work properly in my IE.
Can you give me a solution for these problems?

I doubt this is anything to do with the browser. Please let me know if you have already installed SAP Active Control Framework on your desktop.
I think this might be an issue. Also check for Adobe Reader version in both the machine.

Adobe Interactive Forms no BAPIs or RFCs available

Hi all -
thanks to all who helped me get adobe interactive forms up and running
now that we can deploy an interactive form
our problem is no backend BAPIs or RFCs are available
for it, only custom dialog ABAP modules
is there any method where the form could get data
from back end without calling BAPI or RFC?

Hi Viji,
I believe there must be a misunderstanding here. While Adobe delivers sample forms both in Adobe LiveCycle Designer (only the form) and for their own server products (the LiveCycle series), this has nothing to do with Interactive Forms in SAP software. Adobe contributes 2 key technology components to the joint solution, but the business logic continues to be shipped by SAP only. This means that Adobe neither ships standard forms for an SAP system nor BAPIs.
In mySAP ERP 2004, a couple of pilot processes built with Guided Procedures were shipped to selected customers. These processes dealt with the creation and changing of master data. These processes are not generally available.
Interactive Forms is included in several environments, i.e. Web Dynpro for Java, Web Dynpro for ABAP, ABAP Workbench (for printing), Guided Procedures, Internet Service Request (ERP), and Business Intelligence. In NetWeaver '04, you can only use Web Dynpro for Java and ABAP Workbench.
There is NO OUT-OF-THE-BOX SUPPORT for BSPs.
If you wish to use KM functions, it'll be up to you to develop them for your process. You will need to persist the generated PDF form (it doesn't happen by default), and there is no standard delivery that includes KM functions.

Requriements for Adobe interactive forms on client

Dear Adobe experts,
What kind of requriements / software should where be installed on the end-users PC to get the Adobe interactive forms to work proberly. We wound like to use it together with web dynpro for ABAP as well.
Are there any diffrences if the form aint is interactive(less requriements?)
Currently my client has Adobe 6.0.1 03-11-2003 installed on there PCs - is this a problem?
Any answer will be great!

SAP recommends to install the latest version of Adobe Reader, i.e. 7.0.8.
The ACF is required if you intend to run scenarios using interactive forms (not only for print) in a Web Dynpro online application. The ACF enables communication between Web Dynpro and Reader.
SAP will ship a non-ActiveX integration using HTTP with NW 2004s. Final test are being run at the moment. Shipment is currently planned for SPS 10. (Note that this can change.)

How much effort in developing an offline adobe interactive form - crm 2007

We have a requirement to develop an offline adobe interactive form in crm 2007 sp4. The form will be linked with a visit transaction and when saved will also facilittae the transfer of the form from crm to outlook via groupware integration. From what i can see we have the following steps which will need to be implemented.
1 - Develop web service to pull information from the created visit to the Offline Adobe Interactive Form
2 - Create an Adobe interactive Form template to hold the details of the visit
3 - Set up Groupware Integration to pass the form from CRM to Outook (DONE)
4 - Develop some approach for uploading the form data back to the CRM server (of which there appears to be three approaches - Submit by Email / WebServices / WebDynpro-Upload )
The form itself is not going to be too detailed. It will be prepopulated with the following fields:
Account No, Account Name, Contact, Date, Time, Transaction No, Transaction Category. It will also have a number of text fields which will be used to capture the details of the visit. It will have a submit button to allow for the data to be uploaded by the appropriate upload method.
Can anyone give me some guidance as to how long it would take to implement such a requirement.

Search Help on Adobe Interactive Form with Web Dynpro ABAP

Hi All,
I have created Adobe Interactive Form with ZCI type and XML based interface type using Webdynpro ABAP.
I placed a text field USER_NAME on the form ( data element is linked to search help USER_COMP ).
Added Native WD UI element 'Value Help' to form to search for users and changed script
*var fieldName = "INSERT_NAME_HERE*"; to var fieldName = "USER_NAME";
The problem is that when I click on the value help button, nothing happens.
Is any more additional steps required ?
