Multiple style sheets 1 for background  and  adjustable content and 1 for layout

H guys , I have 1 css that is attacthed to everypage of the site, this is the basic layout of the site , what I want and trying to do , is have another css for "each" page that has a different body back ground and the unique divs to that particular page !
I've attached both css to the page but the only the layout css shows , so there's no bg or unique divs  showing , what do I have to do to get both to show on the page ? .. I've tried linking the 2 css togther but only the layout shows , so I'm pretty stuck .  many thanks in advance if you can help

Yeah, it can be edited... but only by you!
So CSS in the <head> and CSS in a style sheet can both work... but if you have 10 pages, each with it's own CSS in the <head>... and you have to go in and adjust some stuff... that means you must open 10 pages.. do the edits.. separately... then test each of the 10 pages..... separately..
OR have a master CSS page... do all the edits at once, upload just one edited CSS page and then test the entire site... all at one time.
That's the heart of CSS... Cascading Style Sheets... changes/edits you make will propagate/cascade down over your entire site...
My advice... keep all your CSS in one (easily editable) file.
Best wishes,

  • Attached style sheet only shows background

Problem attaching style sheet to a page. It only shows the background color, nothing else. The .css code is there, but the background is all that shows up in design view.

You need to add some HTML content to your page.  CSS doesn't DO anything on it's own.  It needs HTML tags to grab onto.  And you have none to speak of.
Paste this into your HTML document after the </head> tag.
    <body>

  • Multiple Fact sheets issue  for Account

    Hi All,
Need help to trigger the multiple fact sheets. SAP has given one SAP note "2104590 - Use of multiple PDF factsheets in account overview page".
I have implemented that note  and entered Custom Class and Z smartform in the configuration .
    SM30->CRMV_PRN_CONTROL
    SM34->CRMVC_BUIL_PRT
I am able to see the  buttons in account overview , but those are not triggering .
Could you please help  me  in this issue.
    regards,rama

You can use different AppleIDs for different purposes on one device. It is a matter of setting the desired ID for the fucntion (iCloud vs. itunes and Apps stores, for example), in the settings app. My wife has that configuration on her iPhone. She has her own AppleID set up for iCloud (for synching with Contacts and handling back ups, for example), but uses mine for itunes and app store access (I already have a number of apps since I have been using iOS devices foer a while, plus I have iTunes Match).
The IDs are NOT tied to each other, however. There is no way to do that.

  • Cascading Style sheet modify for webi in 4.0

    Hi,
we are planning to change company document style sheet.
So i went through one document, I have few questions on it.
1.what it mean  "The Cascading Style Sheest are derived from the W3C CSS" ?
    2. In document they mention that "The style sheet of a document is stored on the CMS, in the User settings" , I am not able to find it out.
could some one help me out ?

    Hi,
which SMP or Help.sap.com document did you go through ?   was it this one? http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/boexir4/en/xi4_ia_en.pdf
In 4.0, the default values for the rendering and the style are stored into a file named WebiDefaultStylesheet.css stored in the server's images folder. (The defaultConfig.xml is an obsolete file from XI3.1)
Note that for the BI 4.0, you would not be able to update the default style AFTER document creation. If you want to modify default style, you must :
    1. update the .css file stored in the images folder of your server installation or rich client :  C:\Program Files (x86)\SAPBusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\images\WebIDefaultStyleSheet.css and
2 Then create a new webi document to see your style modification.
In FP03, we completed the development of the default style edition by giving an easier and immediate way to update the css: You would be able to export/import the stylesheet from any webi document directly from the UI of the rich client or the applet.

  • Xsl style sheet & DTD for RSS 2.0 feeds

Does anyone have a workable DTD & style sheet for RSS 2.0 feeds? The PS DTD doesn't cut it for what's out in the Net today.
I have no problem setting channels up and getting data... just not a "UI" person...

please see bug 5062227. the problem is noted there.
in lieu of that being fixed, there are several RSS stylesheets floating around on the web. for example:
    http://today.icantfocus.com/style/xsl/feeds.xsl
for more, just google for "rss xsl stylesheet".
i have tried several of them and they all have had their quirks. you can try dropping any 3rd party stylesheet into the product.. for example, place the new file in /etc/opt/SUNWps/desktop/default/SampleRSS, and modify the channel SampleRSS in the administration console to use the new stylesheet.
Portal Server 6.4 (JES 4) will include a more robust RSS channel that is not based on XSLT.

  • Use Conditional Tags to apply different Style Sheets / Skins for branding purposes?

RoboHelp HTML > WebHelp layout appearance using Conditional Build Tags
I have a customer who supplies an application to different corporates, and brands his product by changing the appearance, using a selected style sheet to suit the Brand.
Is there a way to customise a WebHelp layout, to select a style sheet and a skin for Brand A, and another style sheet and skin for Brand B, and so on?
Would this work in RH7? (The customer uses this at the moment.)
Would this work in RH8? (They could upgrade if this solves the problem.)

  • Why does Muse CC 2014.3 create multiple style sheets for a single page site?

    Hello,
My Master page is empty and never opened. My single page has NO MENU option selected.
How can I avoid this or fix it?
thanks for any help or advice, droid

Muse puts all the CSS that's common across all the pages of your site in one .css file and all the CSS that's unique to a given page into a separate .css file for that page.
At this time Muse does not special case the single page site situation and there's no option to merge the two CSS files or inline the CSS into the .html file.
I am curious what your primary concern(s) is regarding having two .css files?

  • Alternative style-sheet (CSS) for printing

    Hi folks.
Anybody knows if it is possible to tell VisualComposer to use a different CSS for printing. That's a common trick to getter printer friendly output. Take a look on: http://webdesign.about.com/cs/css/a/aa042103a.htm.
    Thanx a lot,
    Harald

    Hi Harald,
Unfortunately, I can't think of such way. In EhP1 we introduce a real export to Excel functionality, so it would be better to export it to excel and then print it from there.

  • How to move multiple components into a Tab Component and still keep layout?

I have created a Combination Chart with multiple combo boxes and a slider on my Xcelsius Canvas.  Now, I realize that I want to put all of this into a Tab Set Component.  How can I move everything into this new Tab Component without messing up all the layout and alignment I have done on all my components already?  I tried shift-selecting everything and doing a drag --> drop into the Tab Canvas but they just all stack on top of each other.
Can this be done?  Would it be wiser to start a new Xcelsius document, place a Tab Set Component on the canvas and then copy --> paste from the original document into the new one? I'm reluctant to do this though (even within the same document) because it forces all components to be renamed back to their defaults such as Chart 1, Combo Box 1, etc etc.
    Edit:
Bolded my biggest concern on this topic, can components be copy/pasted or cut/pasted and still retain their original name?

i think this scenario would work fine for you
choose all the components you want to move from the "Object Browser"
you can show the Object Browser from the View Menu
after you select them all, you can drag them to your Tab component
or you can make them as a group, so it will be easy to move them as the same layout they have.
to make them as one group
select them all, go to format menu, and select Group
now you have all of them as one item, move them to the tab and then you can ungroup them the same way
    good luck

  • Can I add the same style sheet to multiple nodes in the same scene?

I know this sounds like a dumb question, so I'll give an explanation below.  I've done this with FXML and Scene Builder and haven't noticed any negative effects yet.  I'm mostly curious what happens internally when I add a style sheet to a node and that same style sheet has already been added via a parent node.
The reason I ask is because I use fx:include in many of my FXML files.  For example, I'll have something like this:
    MainPane.fxml - Uses shared.css and main-pane.css.  Includes SubPane.fxml.
    SubPane.fxml - Uses shared.css and sub-pane.css.  Included in MainPane.fxml using fx:include.
I used to add shared.css to SubPane.fxml using Scene Builder's preview option, but the way this works has been changed in Scene Builder 2.  See this thread for an explanation of the change.  I also use TestFX and I'm convinced that I should be ensuring shared.css is applied to SubPane.fxml before running GUI tests.
The easiest way to accomplish what I want is to add shared.css to the root node of both MainPane.fxml and SubPane.fxml.  However, I don't know if that's something I'm allowed to do.  Is it?

    No. http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html
Can I buy more than one membership to an individual offering of Creative Cloud?
No, Adobe has moved to identity-based licensing with a technology that will not support multiple same-product licenses, so you can buy only one membership per Adobe ID. If you need two Creative Cloud memberships, you will need to purchase each with a unique Adobe ID. You can also purchase a Creative Cloud for teams membership, which allows you to purchase and manage multiple seats under one account.

  • Style Sheets for M$ Only

Well, I've ignored Internet Explorer as long as I can, but I
    have some
really glaring problems that I have to deal with, like the
    navigation
links in the top left corner of this page...
    http://www.geosymbols.org/World/Arizona
That's assuming you're using Firefox. In IE, they're stuck in
    the middle
of the page, even though they're absolutely positioned to the
    left. I
discovered I could coax them over to the left if I changed
    the div that
contains them from text-align: center to text-align: left -
    but that
screws up a major element in Firefox.
Anyway, I saw a thread on Site Point recently asking how many
    style
sheets people use. I noticed that many people use an
    alternate style
sheet just for Microsoft hacks. So I'd like to know the
    basics -
particularly how you set up your style sheet so it is fetched
    only when
    someone is using IE.
This has probably been discussed to death here, and there are
    probably a
gazillion references on Google. But if anyone could point me
    to a really
good reference or tutorial, I'd appreciate it.
    Thanks.

  • Custom cascading style sheet

We are using 'skin_custom.properties' to point to a style sheet that will contain
all our values to the existing selectors in the various style sheets. For example,
in 'body.css', the 'background-color' property is set for '.bea-portal-body'.
However, we override this in our own style sheet.
The problem arises from the fact that the order of the style sheets is determined
by the optional "index" attribute set in the .properties file and that unindexed
groups are "rendered last in an arbitrary order". If you look at 'skin.properties',
most of the standard style sheets do NOT use the "index" attribute. I would like
my style sheet to be the last one so that it will take precedence but it doesn't
look like this is possible. Any ideas?
I prefer not changing the standard style sheets because that will be a maintenance
nightmare whenever a new release is installed. Using the 'skin_custom.properties'
is very clean and maintainable. Once again, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Scott,
I've done a quick test using a CSS file located on the filesystem. My CSS contains the following
    #tCarmineTabs{margin:0px 0px 5px 0; padding: 0px; border-bottom:2px solid #000; border-top:none; line-height:normal;font-weight:bold;background: url(http://localhost:8080/i/themes/theme_carmine/tab_bg.jpg) repeat-x left middle;}
This works fine in IE with the background image being displayed, however the image is not being displayed in Firefox. So it looks like it's browser related.
I'll do some further testing on Firefox and see if I can get the image to display.
    Andrew.

  • Link Spry 2.0 #Menubar to style sheet

I have a Spry 2.0 vertical menu bar.  As you know, the css styles for the menubar takes up a lot of space in the header of the source code.  I would like to have a link to it in a separate css style sheet.  How do I do this.  In the widget scripting?
    Jeannette

Okay, I got it to link.  I just put a link to the style sheet in the header and it found it.  The problem I am having now is getting it to act right. I'll keep working on it.

Did you save your styles in an external stylesheet? If you
    did, you
must link this sheet to your pages. Open one of your pages
    and make a
    link to your stylesheet.
In the header section of your page you can put the following:
    @import url("path to your stylesheet");
    or: <link rel="stylesheet" href="path to your stylesheet"
    type="text/css">
Repeat this procedure for all your pages.
After you have done this, you can apply your styles to the
    pages with
    the property inspector.
