Multiple usernames in my skype account

Hello,
Can someone please check my account? I would like to know why I have so many different usernames under my skype account. I only have two yet it seems as if someone is using my email address to register in new skype accounts.
I am really concerned if there is a security breach. Thank you.

I'm trying to find out if we can have just one Skype account on multiple computers? For instance, having one name and using it on both our travel laptop and our home desktop would be very helpful. People wouldn't have to have two different contact listings to remember or keep track of to contact us! Any help of suggestions would be appreciated.

you can use your Skype account in any computer or device, as long as the Skype program or application is installed in it.

Multiple computers and one SKYPE account

I have SKYPE on a PC downloaded plus a subscription for unlimited phone calls. I also want to use the same subscription on a laptop. I haven't yet downloaded SKYPE to the laptop. My goal is to download Skype on the laptop and use the same account and subscription as the one I downloaded and ordered from my PC.
Is there a way to download SKYPE to the new laptop without creating a new account? Am I allowed to use the same SKYPE account from a PC, a LAPTOP, and also a smartphone? Or does each require a unique skype account?

Before trying to isolate an issue, it's always best that one is running the latest Skype release. Which may in itself resolve the issue.
A new version has just been released August 02, 2011:
Please click the "Get Skype" link at the top of this page and download the normal version of Skype, NOT the beta version to get this new version.
This new version is 5.5.0.113 to check what version you have, using the main Skype client window please do:
Help -> About Skype
Then simply choose the "Already have a Skype Name" option and enter your Skype name.
NOTE: You can also backspace over any name in the logon window and enter your Skype name as well.

I was suspended from skype due to subscription? or renew $ attempts on an expired credit card. Getting restored is a really silly process. Skype asks security questions SKYPE INVENTS, not me. Questions like "What year did you join Skype?, or what payment method did you first enrol with? No Bank or IRS would use such questions.
I flunk the tests, im resuspended. Goes on for months. I invent a new skype ID, or two. Im a long time skype customer so history is a mess now. Today I get asked the same silly questions, I guess or fake answers, Im "restored to a Facebook skype account? Microsoft didnt buy Facebook. Im required to change my FACEBOOK PASSWORD. I do that (So Facebook shares my pawword with Microsift?). Now I'm restored. I try to fix the billing. I have no billing history, no subscriptions , no payments. BUT thats why I was suspended?
Finally I call Microsoft, choose Syype chat support. It doesnt exist!
My daughter says "Use Google!"

If you received an email about Online Number expiry then username should be in the email.

Been able to find the solution if running on a windows pc how to have multiple skype accounts running but does anyone know if this is possible on macs?

You shall write the following bash script (e.g. SkypeLauncherOSX.sh)
#!/bin/bash
unlink ~/Library/Application\ Support/Skype/Skype.pid
open -na Skype
and make it executable
cmod +x SkypeLauncherOSX.sh
It worked perfectly with my Skype 7.7(335) on my OS X Yosemite 10.10.3. I could lanch and perfectly run three parallel instances.
I managed to fork the attached equivalent application. I just could not set the proper icon, the generic icon is shown on my system instead.

hey, sorry if my earlier post sounded somewhat offensive. it wasn't meant to be targeted at anyone specifically though. i was just frustrated with the skype interface generally and was hoping skype could be more userfriendly. i was clicking around while reading unhelpful faqs until i suddenly saw my id "live:...." on the top right of my screen at one specific page. can't remember how to get there again because i closed it accidentally. but at least i have noted it down. took really long to find that. nevertheless, there were still other functions like privacy settings and profile information interface that are lacking.. oh well. thanks for the response by the way.
Edit: oh yeah. you can find your id if you are already logged in with whatever account by clicking on any person's profile on the right column of this page. i could see mine this way. just rediscovered it. hope this helps.

Multiple Skype Accounts Grandstream GXW4004 FXS An...

I am looking at purchasing a Granstream GXW4004 FXS Analog Gateway, however I need to be able to run multiple skype accounts to it. This particular model has 4 fxs ports and I think it means I can connect four skype accounts, but the brochure says something about "two profiles" so I was hoping someone here could clarify.

I called the manufacturer and they said it would do what I wanted.

SKYPE is having huge issues with third party phones, something happened about a month ago and I am having LOTS of issues with running SKYPE on my GrandStream phone.... WAIT until they fix thier issues ... Grandstream is blaming the proprieary SKYPE software you have to run... and SKYPE is blaming Grandstream.... they DO NOT play well together.
My advise is look at other options for now! I am

Freetalk with multiple Skype accounts?

Is it possible to associate multiple skype accounts with a single Freetalk phone adapter?
I would like to put our home cordless phone to a Freetalk adapter but allow each family member to have their own skype account and online phone number for non-skype friends and family to call. I only expect one call at a time but wondered if Freetalk adapter would support multiple skype accounts?

nope, it is not possible to change Skype usernames, the only one users can modify or change is their dislay name.

Same Skype Account on Multiple Devices

I hope I am posting this in the right place.
So I have a Skype program running on my Macbook and had the app running on my iTouch. For both devices I was logged in with the same Skype account. I really didn't like how things were going for the Skype app on my iTouch, so I removed it. For a couple days afterward, I wasn't using the Skype on my Macbook; not Online. However when I came back onto that one, I saw my friend's messages from those past days; trying to talk to me with no reply. When I spoke to him, he says that Skype showed that I was Online. Can someone explain to me what just happened?

That this works like you would exspect is one of the key features today so this should really work or they can delte skype from internet totally.
There is no use for a program you cfannot log in to. And if a comunicating program will not let you communicate it is even worse. Both the same time is pretty amazing that they do not fix.
Also you cannot call them and there is no email addres and to find any way of communicating with them you have to dig deep. Once you find it even if you are logged in to your account in your browser sometimes you have to logg in one more time to send and that is if it works at all.

Hacked skype account, multiple auto-recharges

Hi. My skype account has auto-recharged (through a linked paypal account) 13 times today (5/9/13) for 10 euros each time, even though I did not even login. I am guessing that my account has been hacked and then someone has made calls that incurred charges (see below) so that it would auto-recharge. Could you please look into the history of how this credit was used/transferred and whether any of it can be recovered? I am now down 130 euros and I did not make any of the calls, nor did I explicity authorize the payments.

For the meantime, it may also be advisable to run a full antivirus scan using a fully updated antivirus software, then change your account password as a safety net (just in case your account was indeed hacked/compromised).

I created a new skype account and discovered I already have one under the same exact email. How can I delete one of them or merge them?! Any help is appreciated.

Removing my Credit Card from skype accounts I do n...

Hi There
It appears my sales people utilised my credit card for setting up multiple skype accounts. Unfortauntely now I am getting billed for 8-9 skype accounts each month. The other skype accounts are now surplus to requirements.
Currently I only require 1 skype account. Is it possible to scan all accounts that are using my credit card and only authorise my credit card for my personal account and remove from other accounts. It's adding up to quite a bit of money each month. I don;t have usernames and passwords to other skype accounts using my credit card.

You will need to contact Skype Customer Service for assistance with this. If you report the purchases as unauthorized, all of the accounts - including yours - will most likely be suspended or "blocked" when the charge-backs are processed as an anti-fraud measure. You might also consider closing that particular credit card account number and replace it.
