MX Records added to business catalyst but email not working since site was taken offline (subsequently put back online) by registrar.
Hi.
We've been experiencing some issues sending and receiving email since 1and1 took our domain name down. We've now got the site back live (check devonshiremarkets.com) but emails are still not being received. I have been informed the MX records have not been propagated for the domain name.
Check MX Lookup Tool - Check your DNS MX Records online - MxToolbox and search the domain devonshiremarkets.com. You should see no MX records are associated with the domain name.
Under the business catalyst management section the MX records have been correctly assigned to google apps MX records as follows.
ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (Priority 1, TTL 3600)
ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (Priority 5, TTL 3600)
ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (Priority 5, TTL 3600)
ALT3.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (Priority 10, TTL 3600)
ALT4.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM (Priority 10, TTL 3600)
Is there any reason why our email is still down and what do we have to do to get it fixed?

Business Catalyst feature currently not working in Dreamweaver CS6

The Business Catalyst integration with Dreamweaver is just bug ridden. Since I first reported this bug 7 MONTHS AGO!!! (Thanks for getting on the problem Adobe) Anyway, since I first reported the problem I have purchased a brand new PC (this month) with a fresh install of CS6... I intentionally did not upgrade Dreamweaver CS6 because as soon as you do you lose all Business Catalyst function. Everything was fine until this morning when I logged on to work, launched Dreamweaver and again... I CAN'T LOG INTO BUSINESS CATALYST THROUGH DREAMWEAVER! Worked fine yesterday but today not so much... so here we go again - unistall Dreamweaver re-install and hope it works. Not the most efficient system but when Adode doesn't respond to bug fixes for over half a year... there isn't much you can do. I'm a paid partner too... what a disgrace.

The only thing displayed in the panel is "siteNameTooltip(x)" I have also reinstalled dreamweaver, since I was previously getting javascript errors on load. I was able to clear the error by adding a missing reference to bc_main.js in BCModulePanel.htm. Since then, I uninstalled and reinstalled from Creative Cloud and applied an update. The missing reference is there now, but I am getting the current behavior. Interestingly the Configuration folder moved from /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS6/ to /Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS6/ with the reinstall.
Has anyone experienced this? Is there a fix, or is this a bug or corrupt install?
ThanksUpdate, I fixed it although it feels more like a workaround. I had to enable the extension in extension manager. That still left a blank panel, but once I closed and reopened the panel I was prompted to login. Seems that closing and reopening the panel is the fix once it is enabled.

Bbm working but emails not working
i have just changed my BB and transferred all data using desktop manager to my new blackberry curve. My BBM has started wroking, but emails are not working.
Need urgent help on this...Have a battery pull device reset. Then resend the service books. And try again.

Email not working since changing phones
Switched phones last week with daughter. She bought new one and I took hers. Phone is the same as what I had, Samsung Rogue. Since activating her phone on my line the email and BA will not load on phone. Comes up with this message for both apps,: License not found.Insert the card used to download this app.
This happens everytime I go to Media Center>Browse & Download>Mobil Email or backup Assistant.
What card is it talking about? I never used a card on my other phone when I downloaded these apps two yrs ago.
I'm not too worried about BA but I would like to keep getting my emails. I have been to BA online and that did no good. It would not sinc up with my phone, tho it did sinc to my email but would not push it to the phone .

Easiest solution, if possible, is to reactivate the phone on your daughter's line, then remove the application. Activate it back to your phone number and re-download and begin the Backup Assistant process. Or if you don't mind doing a master reset, that will fix the license error too! It will erase the phone back to factory default settings.

Exchange email not working since update
Help! Before the update, my POP accounts weren't working (wasn't receiving new email unless I turn phone off and back on). Now POP seems to be working, but my corporate Exchange account is totally not working. There is a (new) yellow banner message that appears in email list saying Connecting to Server. And then it seems to get stuck there. It somehow downloaded 1 message (the first one that came in) since the update of my phone this morning. But since, it won't Push any more email.
Also, I think my GPS got worse. When I was outside earlier (granted, I was around tall buildings) it wouldn't get a lock--not even after 5 minutes. WIll have to test further.Thanks for the tip.
I was having the same problem, although it was kinda nice in a way not to be getting instant email notification.
But I'm back to normal.
Uninstalled and installed and my nose is back on the grindstone. -
Push email not working since purchasing iPhone 3G
Yesterday I bought an iPhone 3G to upgrade from my old iPhone. With the old iPhone and 2.0 installed, push email worked fine, as did the calendar and contacts to the most part.
When setting my new iPhone up, I told it to set up like my old iPhone which it did, but now push mail is not working. Calendar and contacts are fine, just mail. I've tried switching things on and off, restarting the phone, etc. but all to no avail. I've even deleted the MobileMe (who ever names these things should be shot... from now on I will call it iTools!) account, and recreated it using the assitant on the iPhone, but still nada... I still have to fetch the emails.
Anyone got any ideas. Thanks.iTools would be a stupid name too. It is not a set of tools, it is a set of features for your MOBILE phone. and it's like Microsoft Exchange whose first letters are M and E. i'm sure that ain't their reason, but it's just fine by me.
As for your problem, I've had some intermittent problems with my mobileme email being pushed as well. i'd say about 75% of the time it works (98.2% of statistics are randomly made up on the spot, including all those in this message!). i just chalk it up to growing pains and hope it fixes itself soon or i'll go back to my Exchange server which has been flawless so far. -
Email not working since Friday
My Mail program is not working. No messages showing in any boxes. I've tried restarting computer. I click on get mail...the ball just spins and spins. Nothing happens. Safari and everything else works fine. If I go to my internet provider, I can access my incoming email just fine. I've checked connection, preferences, etc. Don't know what to do...Any ideas anyone.

imac 1.83 intel 512 Mac OS X (10.4.8)I ended up trying everything listed. Nothing worked...then I found a listing that mentioned going onto the utilities and running Ping. I did this and shutdown the computer and returned a few hours later and voila...my program now works...I don't know which worked, but thank you everyone for your help. I've learned a few things in the process. I sure hope this doesn't happen again....it brings back horrible PC memories that I am trying to forget.

Threaded Email NOT working since upgrading to Lion
Threaded emails were working fine until I upgraded to Lion. I have even done a fresh reinstall, enabled classic view, organize by conversation, and adjusted the view setting in the preferneces to include related messages.
While my replies are grouped together, the other persons are group on their own and NOT bundled with mine. I am using IMAP, NO Rules in place on the server OR on Mail.app.
Any suggestions?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I added a 3rd Gmail account into my Apple email client.
Now, my rules don't work?
Emails with subject or from people should be automatically moved into folders, but this has stopped working.
I added some new rules today to test, and nothing happens.
Also, I manually move the emails into a folder and I have to move the email twice before the email disappears from my email inbox?

Work email not working since update
My work email is on an outlook server. Since the update last night, I discovered I received no emails on my phone. (might be a good thing). but when I try to look at the servers on my phone, it says, "couldn't open connection to server". Thought I would delete that email and start over....ooops, now it won't let me complete adding that account without that message.
I'm assuming that by "outlook server" you mean a Microsoft Exchange Server?
If so and it's Exchange 2010 can you browse to OMA or OWA on it with the phone browser?
In my case(I'm the Network Engineer where I work so I have some experience with this)the URL is:
http://mail.companyname.com/owa or http://mail.companyname.com/OMA.
If that doesn't work try this, on a computer at which you can access the OWA site click on Option(under your name on the upper right hand side) Then when the screen changes you should see 'Phone' listed under accounts on the left. Click on Phone and in the main body area of the page it will list all the phones that you've connected with. If there are any outdated ones there, delete them. Also, do you see a connection attempt for your current phone there? FYI the reason I'm reccomending this is that Exchange, depending on how it is configured, could see your phone as a different device with the OS change. -
POP & SMTP verizon email not working since 11/12
Windows LiveMail & Outlook stopped working w/ my verizon email accts. several days ago. Settings are correct, have validated numerous times. Tried repairing Windows Live Essentials, etc. The only way I can get my verizon email is to use a web browser.
Tried disabling Bitdefender Total Security 2015 firewall & antivirus but no change. There's no virus or trojan on the laptop.
Tried pinging smtp.verizon.net and pop.verizon.net. Request timed out on both.

Go to Solution.Hi, the resolve for me was to change mail clients. Windows LiveMail, despite repairing Windows Essentials 2012 had hit the wall. I switched to Thunderbird which worked w/ my verizon mail accts. I also changed my Verizon web mail setting to save the sent mail on the server. Apparently that made a difference. Without that switched on my mail would not come into a mail client anymore. Despite everything working perfectly for years and no changes on my end (that I'm aware of). Also would not rule out a Windows Update that could have caused this, as they install automatically.

Email not working since Yosemite upgrade
After upgrading to Yosemite, I couldn't receive emails on my Mac, but I could on iPad and iPhone. After 2 hours on the phone with Apple, it was discovered the fix for the problem was with my internet provider. Once we got in touch with them, they fixed it in a matter of seconds.
Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, Mavericks or Yosemite without erasing drive
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
