My 6th Generation Nano Shuts down my Thinkpad, I've tried uninstalling iTunes, turning off auto sync'ing and restoring my ipod, but every time I plug in my iPod, my whole pc goes blue and then reboots in safe mode. Please Help. Thanks.

I am going to have to agree with planb77. Look into other drivers in your computer causing the issue, not just the nano's drivers.
It is possible that security software is the culprit. Use this:
iTunes: Troubleshooting security software issues
You may have to restore your computer to a previous point. From before the issue started. Contact computer manufacture or Windows for steps, or do a search with a search engine.
I would test the ipod on a known good computer to see if its the ipod is the issue. My gut says no. You can set a reservation at an Apple Retail Store. Apple.com/retail .You can also test a known good ipod on your computer.

If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. If the above Support Article does not resolve it... then you have a problem.
Perhaps a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is required..

That error message may be indicative of the Device being Hacked / jailbroken.... If this is the case then you are on your own.

Go back to the App Store app and find the app you're having problems with. Then look in the description for the contact info for the developer. You might also find an email link within the settings of the app. Contact the developer to find out if they are working on this issue.

Yes, it has to be formatted as HFS Extended (Journaled). You can do this in Disk Utility.

You need to copy some files and your iTunes folder to the new computer. Do you have a backup of your old computer (or still have the old computer?) Was the old computer a Mac or PC?

You have an outstanding balance in your account. You have to add a payment method to satisfy that balance before you can do anything with the account including purchasing free updates and free apps.

Why does iTunes shut down every time I plug in my iPod nano?

For the last few months every time I plug my iPod into my mac iTunes automatically shuts down and an error message shows up. I have an iPhone and this problem doesn't happen when I plug it in. I have already taken my iPod to the apple store to see if they can fix it and they restored it but, when I took it home and plugged it in nothing has changed, iTunes still suddenly quits. I am running out of ideas on what the problem could be.

If the Apple Store Genius Bar was able to connect your iPod to a Mac and run a Restore, iTunes did not unexpectedly quit, so there is probably nothing wrong with the iPod.
Since you can connect an iPhone to your Mac and there is no problem, there is probably no hardware problem on the Mac.
That leave the iTunes installation. So, I would download the latest stand-alone iTunes installer and install iTunes again. If you use 10.5.8 (as it says in your profile), you should be able to use the latest version available here

If you are not using the latest version of iTunes already, please post back with the version you are using (and the reason you are using an older version).

But, every time I try to "sync" my ipod with my computer now, it keeps downloading her music onto my i-pod, even though her tunes are NOT checked. What is wrong, and how can I get her tunes OFF my ipod?

The best way to manage your music when you have multiple iPods is to change the settings under "Options" so that you manually manage your music instead of it doing an automatic synch each time you connect. To add only the songs you want, highlight them and then "click and drag" them to your iPod. This way none of your daughter's music gets added and you're not in danger of deleting your playlist as well. It will show you how many songs you've added and you can then click on your iPod to verify. To delete her songs off your iPod now, click on the music tab under your iPod so show everything you have stored. Find those songs you want to delete, click on them to highlight then go up to the Edit window and click delete. This will erase them off your iPod but be careful when you highlight. I did that and then had to reload a cd on my boyfriend's, lol. hope this helps
