My albums show 342 pictures (80 hidden) What does this mean and where are the other pictures?
Iphoto album shows 342 pictures (80 hidden) in upper rt hand corner? Where are the hidden pictures? and how add them back into the album?

Same issue here. I tried to follow the suggestion and open the entry in the missed calls list, but when I tap it, a new FaceTime call Is triggered. I do have to delete the entry by swiping left and tap "delete" to get rid of the red circle.

The error shows a problem with the hard drive, and as it says SATA, it may be related to the SATA connector of the hard drive or the logic board. I recommend you to take it to an Apple Store or reseller to get it diagnosed, so you will know what the problem is and they will provide you a solution. If the problem is in the logic board, this may be an expensive repair

I paid the 2.99, but am still seeing ads. I click on the remove ads link again and it says I paid, but haven't downloaded it yet. Where do I go to download this? Also, is this 2.99 a one time only thing or do I have to pay it every time I play?
Depends on how the app is written but I would personally hope it's a one time only thing. I'd look on the app's support page for how to download it. It's probably the equivalent of an inapp purchase that needs to be downloaded. The app developer should have instructions on how to do that or an interface within the app to download it.

i have a screen with the apple logo on it and a bar underneath it. it has been this way for about an hour now. what does this mean and is there a way to reset the iphone without going into the store? it isnt showing in my computer or on the itunes page.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. -

Does this mean someone has broken into my wireless network? Or that these people have access to my files? I don't want to be "sharing" anything with people I don't even know.It means two of your neighbors also have a wireless network. They cannot access your computer unless you give them your userid and password.
Go ahead and try to access their computers. Unless they have guest sharing turned on, usually to share photos with family and friends, you will not be able to access their computers.

I just burned to disc an album of photos I created in Pages but I cannot open the file on the disc because "the format is not valid". What does this mean and how do I correct it ?

On the email account's settings (Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tapping on the account on the right), go into it's outgoing SMTP settings and try putting in your email name and password (they might currently show as 'optional')

if a buddy's screename is faded (in the offline section), but a video icon is still next to the screename, and if you right click on the name "video chat" is an option, what does this mean? it is the only one on my whole list that has this.

It could be some sort of "flagging" issue where either the AIM Servers have gone out of sync and you are getting two lots of info (There are about three or four servers involved with getting data to your Buddy list)
I can also see the possibility where you have a Contact in your Address Book who has two Screen Names.
You have one in one group and in another they appear to be Off Line. However iChat will still Link them and Show their Capabilities when you Right Click.
One way of checking this is to double click them to open a Text Chat Window.
At the top is the Recipients Bar (See View Menu when Text Chat is Open).
This gives you the option to chose a different Buddy Name if the contact has two (It offers To and From options if you both have Multiple Accounts).

They have an @Mac.com name and Jabber ID (As it is an Old Chat the Jabber one is Off Line and their @mac.com name is currently "Away"
You can see I have a Google and three AIM Logins I could use to Speak to them.

TD, LN - You guys make great points and I will take you at your word. Normally, I would not hesitate to update. I have a lot at stake here with a large vacation coming up with a great many new pictures anticipated. I don't know enough to understand what is meant by "verifying my library." Please give me some insight there and I will start the upgrade process tonight! Seriously, I have wanted to do this for some time, but have been scared away by reading too many situations on these forums.
TD - you have a good sense of humor. I know all versions eventually need to be left to die away. Support is not eternal. I am sure I missed the announcement that certain versions of iPhoto would no longer offer the ability to conveniently make cards, calendars, books, etc. Like the original poster, I was surprised to learn my version did not offer that functionality only by requesting it and getting denied. Sort of frosted me at the time, as you can tell by my original reply here.

Erase your drive and reinstall correctly, stop messing about with incremental patches. The routine you need is BERR (backup, erase, reinstall, restore) or just stay as yu are, it is entirely up to you.
