My blackberry 9810 don't start

my torch 9810 don't start up. yesterday i send a bbm, and 30 minute later, when i look on my torch, it's just a black screen with red light blink, 25sec on and wait 1 minutes for other red blink
i call my phone provider and try
remove battery wait 10
plug on computer
remove battery and plug on computer
start blackberry software and software don't find anything like no phone
i xchange my battery between my two blackberry torch and my good one continu to work good and the bad one continu to red blink
my phone provider tell me that i need to buy a new one,
someone have a other solution ?

From what you describe, I think you may have done these things, but I cannot tell for sure...
Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain a known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem.

    hello, i've a big problem because i can't transfer my date from my blackberry 9810 to my calendar apple mac mountain lion and not the inverse. I utilise the blackberry desktop but it's only bi-directionnel and i would like to do it just in this sens because all my dates are in my phone. I can't understand why it's not working.     Well guys I just bought a new Blackberry 9810 on April 23rd 2012 from Jalandhar(Punjab) and on the very first date i faced a problem. It was so that I couldnt hear the call coming and if at all my attention was towrds my phone and i happened to picked it I couldnt hear the caller's voice and neither could he hear mine. I took out my battery and restarted the phone to rectify it. It happened about three to four days the very first day. Next morning I went to vendor, who told me to get the software updated from service centre. I did as told, went to service centre and got the software uploaded the very second day of my purchase.For nearly three four days everything was fine with my handset. As i had to travel out of station for wedding in family, i left my city Jalandhar on 4th May 2012. It was on 5th May 2012 i faced the same problem and during my ten days stay there I was completely bugged up as everyday I had to go through the same turmoil about 7 to 8 times a day. I was being mocked by my frens and relatives that " you have wasted Rs. 27000" on this wrong purchase. I was really taken a back as i m freelance writer, so i lost much of my business due to my phone being swithced off. I spoke to the vendor from Delhi he told me you come back i ill speak to service centre authority and will get ur handset changed. When I was back I visited the service centre and made him speak to my vendor too. He returned my battery and back cover of handset so i understood they wont change the handet. I insisted them to replace it but all they could say the company will replace it if need be. So i kept quiet, i got my handset back after three weeks from the service centre with a hope that it will be well in shape, but to my dismay the very next day i faced the problem again. In all this chaos i noticed that it is only when i put the memory card i face this problem so i formated my card and tried again but problem persisted than i took memory card out from my phone and it worked well for a week's time. After which i bought a new memory card thinking that my last memory card might have been infected with virus but the problem started agin. I again went to vendor he told me to go to service centre and tell the person to change the handset or IME number, I did the same. But again when I got my handet back neither was it replaced nor the IME number was changed and on top of it the problem still persited and also its hanging a lot. I am in an imbroglio and literally repenting over this purchase. Also i have to listen to constant rebuking of my parents. I seriously want to get it replaced. Can anyone tell me how? 

    Well first off you should demand that the vendor who sold it to you stand up and do what is right and exchange the unit for a new working one!

  • Some Apps don't start up anymore after upgrading to BB 10.2.1

    I have upgraded to BB 10.2.1 today and am pleased to see new features and enhancements.
    I also have to report a few issues though:
    - startup takes much longer now
    - several non native apps don't start up anymore. I even reinstalled some, but that didn't help. Any thoughts?

  • Faulty Blackberry 9810

    To Whom It May Concern
    I have had my Blackberry 9810 replaced 3 times in the last 16 Months and having endless problems to date i have replaced the phone today and still have the same issues i have a feeling this is across the board problem with the BB9810 range and i request to have MTN replace this phone with a brand new unit as i have been given refurbished units.
    I am on contract and paying R329,00 p/m. Please also note i will be posting this on Hellopeter as well.

    As a user-to-user community, no one here can answer your question with any level of authority whatsoever. BlackBerry provides zero front line support to end users, including warranty...all support starts with the carriers, authorized resellers, and authorized service centers, all who can escalate cases into BlackBerry at no charge to the end user.
    So, your escalation path is not here, in these forums. Rather, it is through your existing channel...even if they may so far not be helping to your satisfaction. You have no free path by which to bypass them.

  • After IOS 8 upgrade IPad 2 don't start

    Hi,
    After IOS 8 upgrade my IPad 2 don't start and just show this screen and nothing works.

    My ipad2 is having the same problem.  I can get it to start up by plugging the charger in.  I can then unplug it and it is working - but very slow and prone to randomly shutting things down.

    Oracle RAC 10gR2
    2 nodes windows 2003 advanced server (node1 called "database1" and node2 called "database2").
    ASM
    san storage
    Case:
    My client has tried to add a new disk (in a environment san) in ASM with the next steps:
    1. database1 and database2 are up.
    2. instance ASM1 from database is up and instance ASM2 from database2 is down (I don´t know why¿¿¿¿¿¿¿??????????).
    3. add a new disc from san storage to instance ASM1. At the end, a lot of errors show in screen due to  instance ASM2 was down.
    4. client tried to up +ASM2 and then , all the cluster crashed.
    5. reboot boths nodes database1 and database2 , and Windows 2003 Server don´t start well (hung up, due to services from oracle cluster are "automatically start"-
    6. disable oracle services in "not automatically start" and windows 2003 server start well.
    7. now oracle rac don´t start, ASM don start, instances don´t start ....
    what can I do? any idea?

    Did you try to bring the U1 and it's associated ASM instance up while the other node is shutdown? Are you using Oracle clusterware?

    I want to call a report through Forms per web.show_document but Firefox don´t start. The URL is correct (I´ve tested it). I tried also to disable the Popup-Blocker but this didn´t solve the problem, too.
    I call the fmx with a JNLP File.
    There is no other browser installed on my system.
    Are there any other settings in the browser (or maybe in the OS (WinXPPro SP3)) which could be responsible for this problem.

    no, I run my forms in a Java Virtual Machine ( I start it with a JNLP-File) not directly in a browser. Adobe 9 is installed. In "showmyjobs" there are no report jobs listed, because the browser don´t start and try to open the report. When I copy manually the URL (which should call the report) from web.show_document into the browser the report starts. There is no problem in calling the report.
    The problem is that web.show_document don´t start the browser or if the browser is already open a new tab to call the URL which I have written in web.show_document.
    e.g.
    web.show_document('http://www.google.de'. '_blank') should call google in a new browser tab or, if the browser is not opened already, in a new browser. But in my case the browser don´t start or don´t start a new tab page. This problem occurs in IE and in Firefox.
    I use JDK 6 Update 16 and Forms works fine with that version.
    I´ll try it tomorrow with another Java Version but I don´t think that this solve the problem.

    I've got the same problem.
    However, I've found that if I set the OracleServiceXXX startup to manual, If I then issue a net start statement it works OK.
    i.e NET START OracleServiceXXX

    the songs i bought from itunes don't start at the beginning of the song,  it's just the preview clip.

    Been having the same problems myself. And I don't know about you but sometimes it'll take a while to get it to actually play the first song.

  • Java Apps don't start automaticaly after system restart

    Hi,
    Since a few days ago when restarting Java application servers of SAP
    Portal, the applications deployed don't start for itselfs.
    When starting the instance, the memory stops to increase at 500mb. The
    only way to start the applications is by the manual way in:
    Server -> Services -> Deploy -> Runtime -> Application -> Start
    Application.
    After starting the applications manually the instance starts fine.
    I already increased some values in global configuration:
    From:
    InitialThreadCount = 40
    MaxThreadCount = 150
    MinThreadCount = 40
    To:
    InitialThreadCount = 80
    MaxThreadCount = 200
    MinThreadCount = 80
    After the restart the applications are not starting automaticaly yet.
    I have 4 instances. The first two instances are starting fine, but the problem is happening with the other 2 instances.
    Is there any reason for this type of behavior?

    This kind of problem happens since 3 weeks ago and the stack of this system (SP09) remain unchangeble since 07.04.2008.
    The strange behavior is that the Server 1 and 2 are starting all the apps fine, but this problem is only happens in server 3 and 4.

    I could be wrong but...
    1) Is the TNS listener running? (and then a DB instance)
    2) Is the default SID (iasdb) correct? You might like to set the sid before you start.
    3) I had loads of problems after I accidentally tried starting emctl as root. I changed the ownership of everything back to oracle:dba and then started it as oracle and all was well.
    Maybe useful, maybe not?

  • [Solved] Libreoffice 3.6.1.4 don't start

    please excuse my bad english.
    I have a problem. Since the libreoffice update from 3.5.6 to 3.6.1.4 libreoffice don't start. For a short time i see the splash-screen and that's it. In the terminal, when i type soffice or lowriter or libreoffice --writer i can't see any message. Also i deleted the ~/.config/libreoffice folder. But that doesn't help. These packages are installed: libreoffice-common libreoffice-gnome libreoffice-de libreoffice-writer libreoffice-calc. When i downgrade to 3.5.6 everything is fine.
    I have a laptop with openbox and a desktop-pc with gnome. Same problem on both systems.
    Do you have any tip for me?

    Experiencing the same problem here though I found out that the reason for LibreOffice to crash/segfault is the existence of a aquabase-language-support.ttf file which as far as I remember was perfectly accepted in previous versions.
    Once I remove it from my .fonts folder LibreOffice loads as it should (no deep testing performed though).
    Therefore, in case you are using a .fonts folder on my behalf I would suggest to check out its content (back it up and empty the folder and add the fonts again one by one checking each time if LibreOffice crashes or not until you find which of them may be the reason for the crash).

    The issue is still there.
    I am using Elements 11 until Elements 12 works. (I have to do my job)
    I have several times uninstall Elements 12 (incl preferences) and  reinstall the programma. (8-9 times)
    During downloading and installing I closed the virusscanner and the firewall. No Error messages
    Elements 11 is an upgrade of Elements 9 and working OK.
    The following logfiles ended with EXIT code: 0-No Error
