My child mistakenly pass worded my iPad with a new password and I can't open my iPad. I don't want to loss my content?
I need an answer urgently. My child can't remember the password he entered on my iPad.
If he can't remember the passcode then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad (so all current content will be removed) and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode in order to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

My MacBook Air has OSX Version 10.9 and suddenly I can no longer access iPhoto. THe message says, 'You can't use this version of the applicaitonn iPhot with this version of OS X. You have iphoto 9.3.2." When I try to update iPhoto, I get a message saying I signed in with a different apple ID and password. This all happened about the same time I got a new iphone. The iPhoto icon has a circle with a line through it.

Hi, I tried to export my document yesterday with page transitions and it has jammed system. I have followed a number of steps as discussed for CS 5, however none of these are working.
Exporting to PDF (Print) results in a hung background task that cannot be cancelled. When I attempt to quit InDesign, you get the message, "InDesign cannot quit because one or more tasks are running in the background."
Can you please help as it has jammed the whole program.

I have already cleared the cookies and the cache. The problem does not seem to be with Yahoo, but with Firefox. No other browser causes me this problem.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies" -

You need to restore the iPod from the backup of the old one. The will restore photos taken by or saved to the iPod. If the photos were synced to the iPod those have to be synced to the iPod since they are not included in the iPod backup that iTunes makes.

When trying to log in with my primary Apple ID and password, I am continuously asked for my pass word without being able to log in. How can I solve this issue, without creating a new Apple ID?

I synced my new iPad with my new macbook and when I tried to then sync my iPhone as well it says that all apps will be replaced with apps in my library. How do I sync without losing all of my existing iPhone apps?
My guess is that you previously synced the iPhone with a different computer in the past. You will probably want to set up Home Sharing.

do any of you experience Im having with my ipad? I can't make a comment in Facebook for older posts and I can't open numerous comments from old posts of my friends. but everything works perfectly when I use my laptop(non-apple). is there problem between apple and FB?
Facebook apparently has their site coded poorly for tablets with touch screens. Try using the Facebook app. It is not perfect either but it is better than view in a browser lately.

Once disabled, you have to restore/recover the iPad before you can use it.

If your child set a passcode to the screen lock and cannot tell you what he/she set, restore the iPod from the computer to which the iPod is synced. For information and instructions, see:

If that will not work, you'll need to put the iPod into Recovery Mode and then try the Restore again:

I'm sorry you're having issues with your e-mail account on your phone Rusty1112. Let's figure out what's going on. First, please try deleting account/information again and then restart phone. When phone is back on, try adding e-mail account again, and be sure you're entering exactly as you set up, meaning its case-sensitive. If you're still getting same error, please let us know and let us know what e-mail account it is, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, etc.
