My computer fried and I didnt have cloud. would like to buy cloud so i can listen to all my music on wifes computer. The security questions I can't remember what I wrote. Thanks for any help on getting these answers.

If iCloud Backup is set to Off in Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup, it means that your iPod will not automatically back up to iCloud, but will automatically back up to your computer when you sync. The only way you would risk losing data is if you have never synced with iTunes before. Sorry but no. You will need to get access to a computer with iTunes somewhere to restore the iPad. You can get help with this at an Apple Store if you have them in your area. Note that if you haven't backed up your iPad to iCloud, you'll lose all your data. Apps and other purchases from the iTunes Store can probably be re-downloaded.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

All iWork apps allow you to save your documents on your computer. You will be able to choose the destination when you want to save a document.
You can also disable iCloud for some apps. To do that, go to System Preferences -> iCloud, press "Options" next to "iCloud Drive" and disable the apps you want to.
If you have lost your old documents, you should have a backup that you made before upgrading to OS X Yosemite, so you only have to restore it. -

Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you've reached the 5 computer limit then you can log into your account and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : authorising and deauthorising.

If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone and use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
You can also wipe the iOS device by installing the FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device and using that app to wipe the device.

So it sounds as though you wiped your drive and it can't find the system (OS startup) folder because there is none (folder with ?).
One more question: did your machine come with Lion?? Or did you purchase it at the app store? If it came with the machine, then it would not show in the app store.
You tried recovery and said it "made an internet recovery" - when you booted up with Command + R, did you at first see a spinning globe? If not, there was no internet recovery. Try restarting with Command + Option + R - on older machines, that is internet recovery (if your machine supports it). You should wind up with a screen like this:
Is this what you saw before? You can erase your drive in Disk Utility. When done, you need to click on Reinstall OS X - it will then go to Apple's servers and download the entire OS. Once downloaded (may take a while unless you have a blazing connection), it will install. It should also recreate a new recovery partition. -
im having trouble connecting my macbookpro to the tv. im using a mini display port to hdmi adapter, when i switch tv/video to hdmi on the tv nothing pops up, and i dont have the arrangement tap on the display settings, please help!
I've found that the order of operations, so-to-speak, can be important when hooking up mini display port to HDMI. I have the most success with the following operations in this order:
1) Plug HDMI cable into mini displayport adapter (the cable should not be plugged into either the TV or the computer at this point)
2) Plug the mini displayport end of your new super-cable to the computer.
3) Plug the HDMI end into your TV.
4) Switch inputs on your TV to the proper input.
5) If still nothing on the TV, try a different HDMI port on your TV.

gmail.com....If you didn't already do so, authorize your computer for the new ID by opening iTunes and going to Store>Authorize This Computer. Then sync your phone with iTunes.
