My email and new video address - but neither recognised on login?
Hi, has anyone else had issues with this? This problem first surfaced when I went to a Collaboration Clinic here in the UK to get Jabber Video set up,
all seems to be fine with registration but having downloaded the client when I login it tells me neither the jabber or Cisco userid address are recognised. Not sure if / how I can raise a support request ?

Not sure if you are on the Cisco network, or on a different firewalled network, but in order to login the ports from the link below need to be allowed through the firewall.

I do video productions for a small local TV station. I use Final Cut Express to edit. I need a new video camera but am at a loss as to what to buy. I know I will get a digital camera but do not know the difference between just digital and digital HD. Also, I can not afford an expensive camera and need some advice on which of the available cameras would be best and also work well with a Mac. One last issue, I currently use a Panasonic #CCD camera that takes a tape. When I load video to Final Cut the audio and video are out of sinc. Go figure. Can anyone help with these questions. Karen

If you are using Final Cut Express, then look for camcorders that are AVCHD camcorders. Look especially for the AVCHD logo and specific mention of AVCHD in the specs. Most of the major manufacturers produce good quality camdcorders - Canon, Sony, etc.
Also, be aware that there are a lot of "not quite AVCHD" camcorders on the market (sometimes they say they record video as MPEG4-H.264/AVC) - buyer beware!
Most everything you are going to find on the market today is HD, which stands for "high-def".
Regarding your question about the Panasonic camcorder, it's best if you post that as a separate question, and please identify the specific model camcorder and the Easy Setup you are using in FCE. -
I changed ISP and used ms explorer to set up on to new ISP. Internet options has the new ISP address but Firefox does not pick it up and is still using the old ISP address. Can find no way to set firefox to new ISP address. How do I do it? edit

Hi, I am having trouble getting an album to download. I have tried it on both my iPhone and laptop through iTunes but neither works. I am wondering if it could be the size of the album stopping it downloading (212 Tracks) Any Ideas?
These alerts occur due to timeouts or conflicts trying to write a file during download.
If you encounter this issue while while downloading something from the iTunes Store:
Delete your iTunes Downloads folder, located in:
Mac OS X: ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads Note: "iTunes Media" may appear as "iTunes Music. Also, the tilde (~) refers to your Home directory.
After locating your iTunes Downloads folder:
Quit iTunes.
Delete the Downloads folder on your computer.
Open iTunes.
Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
Enter your account name and password.

Before I installed IOS last week, I had to update iTunes. It asked me to give an email and new password. I misspelled my email and now I have two iTunes accounts. Do I need to delete the wrongly spelled one and will that delete the IOS on my phone or just ignore it?
You should have your stuff separate from your mom's. Delete all the apps downloaded or purchased with your mom's Apple ID and download or purchase them with your own Apple ID. Back up files and data first if possible.

When I try to fill out forms on line my I cannot send as it says my email isn't valid. I ve tried with my gmail and my work email and no luck. It will recognise my partners email with no problem. Please advise
Assuming that you can send email on the iPad, Maybe something is corrupt in Safari that is causing this. Try clearing Safari and see if the sites will accept your email address.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -

Go into the Settings> and then tap on Mail contacts and calendars.
One that screen tap on the email account you want to delete. On the next screen at the bottom it should give you the options to "Delete Account" in red. Tap on that and delete the account from your iPad. -
When I click on "open entire inbox" the font seems to get very large briefly,then it returns to the normal size.I can't see my whole inbox or open anything!
When using Preferences to change the email to Xfinity Lite you loose certain valuable features available in the full verfsiion. This may work for some but I enjoy attaching photos in some emails and having them show in he message boz along with a message. It's a shame that two multi-national companys can't get their act straight. Comcast blames Firefox, Firefox blames Concast. In the meantime users are forced to use Internet Explorer. I hate this kind of stupidity. Millions of consumers are inconvenienced. I suspect that Microsoft and Comcast are schemeing in this matter.

If both machines say copying but neither one appears to be doing anything, is it working? It hasn't given me a time yet but I got through the password part fine and they're connected. I selected the folders to transfer and it says its copying the first one... but it doesn't actually seem to be. Help!

I had a similar issue with my Apple ID. After multiple calls to Apple it transpired that I had to set up a new email address to verify my account. I could then get into the account and delete the new email and use an existing email.
