Any website I try to visit using Firefox won't load, it just keeps saying that it is unable to connect. I tried other web browsers, and they work no problem. I tried following the proxy steps provided, but did not help.

Firefox won't load any websites, where as Safari and Internet Explorer have no issues.

I've re-installed Firefox and changed Firefox's proxy settings amongst other suggestions that were made on a similar page. It was Firefox 3.6, but I tried installing the 4 version. And no one has been around to live chat with, pretty lame that its offered if I can't even use it.

Firefox won't load any website/webpage at all, why is this?

The internet connection works fine. There's no error message either(like 404 error), Firefox just keep loading the page. Other browsers can still go to the internet without problem. If I close and restart Firefox, the "Firefox is already running, but is not responding" window pops up. This happened often, but not every time Firefox opened. It doesn't occur when I go to a certain website, I'm sure of that.

Check your firewall/antivirus/security suite for settings that may be causing this. If that's not it, it's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. I found a fix for this, not only firefox but several other networking programs were broken as well (Outlook and IE were ok for some reason) so I reasoned that the Norton uninstall was incomplete somehow - I had done it from the add/remove programs in the control panel. Sure enough that's not enough to release Norton's tentacles in your system, there's an uninstall tool on their website (a whole set of them actually) that managed to carve it out completely and after a restart everything was back to normal. My machines will definitely be Norton-free from now on ... N

The best anti-virus protection is your own common sense, and what you already bought and paid for with your Mac. Third party products such as "iAntiVirus" convey no additional benefit, and as you already determined are very capable of causing trouble.
OS X already includes everything it needs to protect itself from viruses and malware. Keep it that way with software updates from Apple.
A much better question is "how should I protect my Mac":

Firefox does not load any websites now, after working well earlier today.

Firefox is not working now - it does not load any websites. Message on screen says:- "8e6 Mobile Client - internet browsing is not possible at this time. Error:80001001".
What I was doing before the problem:-
I had spent time re-organising My Documents.
One folder in My Docuamnts called "High Windows" contained the file "2101HighWin.msi", which I attempted to open.
What I have done since the Firefox problem:-
I have tried to uninstall 8e6 Mobile Client, but it won't let me.
I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox.
I have used InternetExplorer8 to search thru the Mozilla troubleshooting pages.
Please can you help?

you have definitely tried the correct steps, all you would need to do now is a back up & restore to factory settings. If after that the issue remains then you would most likely need a replacement unit.

one can only connect 1 device at the time and just by waking up sometimes a headset connects to a device

then forget the bluetooth device in OS X and put the headset in pairing mode / discovery mode and connect with it once again with the mac
