my ipad sometimes gets hanged while in apps . but when it gets hanged , its comes to homescreen and stops responding
how to get rid of this problem

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Then reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

iPads sync to 1 computer only.
All media and apps are tied to the Apple ID that purchased them.
Without your relatives ID and password, you cannot update any of the Apps.
I am pretty certain he is also violating Apples terms of service by giving you the apps.

This allows for being able to redownload a purchased app without having to pay for it again in the event the app was deleted.

Go into Sys. Pref , and power settings and UNcheck "put hard disks to sleep" on both power tab and battery tab.
When on projector use with your Air and a presentation, dont close the monitor or sleep your Air.
Verify any coincident applications running that can/could conflict with projector / sleep occurrence by running Etrecheck:

Is there more people out there who like me didn't like the new FF 4 and went back and reinstalled FF 3.6?

I updated to the new Firefox 4 but did not like it.
The Go Back button didn't work at times. No advanced drop-down button to go back, say 10 pages.
Tabs moved up which I didn't like either. in the end i just went back and reinstalled Firefox 3.6.
So, I was wondering is it just me or are there a lot more who feel the same way.

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.

It might help to reset the connection settings on your Mac using these steps one at a time until the problem is resolved, recognizing that, depending on your problem, not all of these steps will make sense:
1) Use the AirPort/Wi-Fi menu bar item to turn AirPort/Wi-Fi off, then on again.
2) Try to select your Wi-Fi network from the AirPort/Wi-Fi menu.
3) In the Network panel of System Preferences delete the AirPort/Wi-Fi item from the left column, then add it back.
4) In the same panel as (3), define a new location and see if you can make that work.
5) In the same panel, select the AirPort/Wi-Fi connection item, click the "Advanced" button, select the "TCP/IP" tab, then click "Renew DHCP Lease". Note that the fix this step implements may be temporary.
6) In the folder /Library/Preferences ( _not_ <yourhomefolder>/Library/Preferences), move the folder SystemConfiguration onto the Desktop, then restart your computer. See if you can now make your AirPort connection work.
These steps may not help, but they'll only take a couple of minutes to try. Before you try these, if you have any special network settings on your Mac for things like DSL credentials, note all your network settings, because the latter steps will destroy them. If you got all the way to the last step, if things don't work any worse than before, you can trash the saved SystemConfiguration folder.

I have an error on my IPad stating: "Server stopped responding'
However, I have full connection to wifi, I tried rebooting wifi, turning off wifi and turning back on -on I Pad, I tried turning on/off airplane mode, etc.
My email is working fine so I know I have internet connection to the IPad....
Does anyone have any advice?

No data is lost due to a reset.
Then restart the device.

The Safari message is probably telling the truth. Is the problem repeatable at several websites, or is it only with a particular one? If all websites, you may have trouble with your internet connection downloading large amounts of data. Mail messages are relatively small unless there are attachments or embedded images.

My camera on my iPad.2 has stopped working for the 2nd time. Last time it just started working again after a couple of months.
I have tried closing the camera app completely & also re-booting the iPad completely but to no avail.
Any ideas anyone?

You'll first need to have iTunes on your computer - from the summary page (the one that opens when you select the iPad in iTunes) it'll give you options for backing up and restoring it. On that page just select 'restore iPad' and that'll get it started.
Hope it's just software then, those out-of-warranty replacements can get pricey.

MacBook Pro stops responding to the Apple Remote

Rather often, my MacBook Pro (17", 2010) stops responding to the Apple Remote.
It can happen after an hour of use, or after five minutes, it is not a consistent thing.
This has happened from the beginning, but sometime around 10.6.6 it seemed to be fixed.
Alas, it has returned when I upgraded to 10.6.7.
I have filed it as a bug, but I haven't seen any other mention of this problem.
When it happens, I can "fix" it by "disabling" the remote and the "reenabling" it (under System Preferences->Security, check and again uncheck the box that says "Disable remote control infrared receiver"). A notoriously abnormal side effect of this bug is that the first click in this checkbox also sends the System Preferences application to the background; I have to then bring it to the foreground again to click a second time to uncheck the box.
Has this happened to anyone else?
