My iPhone (4 8GB) is showing i have around 1.2GB of space, yet on iTunes, I'm being told i have 856 MB, Can anyone explain this to me please?
So yeah, I went to transfer some songs just now, and I checked on my iTunes to see what memory I have. According to iTunes I have 856 MB, yet the iPhone itself is saying i have 1.2GB. Who do I believe?
And yes - I am pretty hard done by on storage, I'm pretty minimal with my apps. It's rubbish

Have an iphone 5c 8g. The home button has stopped working. Did the same a few months ago and recovered 24hrs later. Can anyone explain this problem. Phone still in warranty. Had steam issue recently but this was after last home button episode and no evidence of damage.
If you are playing in hockey arenas a lot or if you are bringing it into bathroom same time as shower it may not seem like much but overtime the steam can acquire and build up in the phones usb dock flex cable swell as the home button flex cable. Bring again into apple store and should be covered under warranty again. could also be a delay in a 8gb 5c software may just be very lag.

How does this happen: The picture of recent apps you get when double clicking the home button showed in Settings-Wifi that I had been connected to a network I have not been near for two months. Its not a recent "image" of Settings-Wifi. Can anyone explain?

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

I just bought a second hand iPhone 5, but the sim tray seems to be for a sim sized ~14x8mm, thinner but longer than a nano SIM (~12x9mm). Can anyone explain why, and how to get a SIM to fit?
You would have to ask the person you bought the phone from to explain why.

I have an icloud account and I view my mail with Mail V5.2. I recieve my email but the senders get messages saying the delivery failed. Can anyone explain this or help me.

I turned my iPhone 4 off, at 97%. I turned it on, and it said 100%. Can anyone explain that to me?

Recently someone has been texting people on my contacts list even when no one has touched my phone i can see the messages posted to my friends family etc. Dose anyone know how to fix this or what not?

I just did a software update on my phone (finally) last night and now my phone will not come on. It keeps showing the charger pointing up to a blue circle with iTunes inside and will not go any further. Can ANYONE help me please???The phone is in restore mode and the picture is telling you what to do. Connect the phone, by cable, to iTunes in the computer you normally use for syncing, and retore the phone.

After upgrading my iPhone 4S to iOS6, my Find My Friends app no longer links to my Contacts and does not show contact names. It only shows e-mail addresses and does not link up to the corresponding email address in my Contacts. How can I fix this?
I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself. -
My iPhone storage is showing almost 7 gb of emails yet I hv no emails left on my phone. How can I clear this space
I had nearly 600MB of space taken by emails. I have 3 accounts. What I did was delete my main account, them reinstall it. The result was that my emails went down to just under 60MB, which I presume is the space taken by me less used accounts. Even though my reinstalled email account reloaded a couple of hundred emails, the space used was as stated above.

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.

My wife, daughter and I have iPhones with iMessage and Send Read Receipts activated. All the messages sent between the three of us are blue however, when my wife messages me, the message appears in green on her iPhone. Can anyone explain why.
Because some kind of error occured. This is only from her iPhone to your iPhone? Whenever she sends a message to any other iPhone, it is sent as blue? And when anyone else sends you a message from an iPhone, it sends as blue?
