I have a problem! My iphone was working 30min ago and then, just all of a sudden it just stopped working. I cant switch it on anymore, and it wont charge either...please help!

from the information you provided i can't tell if it is a hardware problem or a software problem. I do have an idea though, try to press your home button and lock button at the same time.

Backlight does not turn on anymore Satellite M70-147

Hello outhere,
The backlight of my M-series M70-147 does not turn on anymore.
I first noticed this when awakening the laptop from standby or hibernation mode.
At first I thought the screen was not working anymore, but when I looked closely I could still make out the icons on the desktop vaguely. So at first I rebooted the laptop and then most of the times the backlight would turn on and stay on.
But now it does not do that anymore, not even when I close the screen (to force standby mode) and then open it again, the backlight won't turn on.
I also looked at other forums and topics what the cause might be, a broken backlight or a faulty power inverter.
So can anybody with the symptons described tell me what the cause might be?
I'm pretty sure nothing is wrong with the graphics card because when I hooked on my laptop to my dads LCD monitor it just displayed the desktop of my laptop on the LCD monitor. Also the first time I did this after pressing Fn-F5 a few times the screen of my laptop would come on some times. But now it does not do that anymore.
So can anybody with the symptons described tell me what the cause might be?

For me it looks like a faulty FL inverter.
The FL inverter is a small part behind the display frame and it controls the backlight.
Usually the external display should work properly because the FL inverter affects the internal display only...
However, the issue can be solved only by replacement of this part.
I recommend contacting the Toshiba ASP in your country to get this part replaced

Iphone 3gs does not turn on after ios 6 update

After the ios6 update, my iphone 3gs does not turn on. I see the apple logo, after a minute, it boots again and i see the logo again. This process seems to continue like a circle. After a search the net, i see that i am not the only one. A quick fix and suggestions please, as i need my phone of course.
Btw, Apple, i know that this is an old hardware and i will buy the new iphone 5 when it is available here in my country in December. But of course, you claşmed this update supports my 3gs, you should immediately find a fix

Well, i don't see an another solution possible; you should try again and again to restore. Btw, my phone seemed to operate strange (even the stock mail app began to crash) so i tried hard reset (home button + sleep/wake button until seeing the apple logo). After that i found my phone again in dfu mode this night so began restoring again now.
It seems that apple didn't tested ios6 enough with the 3GS. I have a 32 GB phone so this will be near 60 gb download from the icloud over my broadband connection.

If you eject the SIM card tray the serial number is also there. It's tiny, but there.

Last night I put my phone on charge, and when it was at 100% I took it off charge, which was at 12:30 am this morning. When I finally woke up this morning, at 8:30 am and tried turning on my iPhone, it would not communicate. It is now 10:15 am and I have tried everything to turn it on. I have pluged it in but it has still yet to turn on. I was not on my phone from 12:30 am until I tried to open it at 8:30 am this morning. It was at 100% when I left it at 12:30 am, so I would not understand why the battery, if it is the batter, would die so quickly. Also, every once in a while it does not let me listen to any sounds coming from my phone. It is like the sound and volume are enabled and I never change my settings for sound, I even check every time it does this and there is no change. My phone acts like it has a mind of its own sometimes, with the volume and sound, battery and constantly freezes. I have realized that updating my phone to iOS 7 was not a good idea because it makes my phone slower, but now it freezes too, for long amouts of time. I would just prefer changing my phone to a different one, but I have only had it for one year. I do not understand why it has all these problems even just after a year. Could I have help trying to turn my phone back on please.

This section from the article should help get that battery charging or isolate what is going on with it.
Battery does not charge from the USB power adapter
Important: Only original iPhone can be charged from a FireWire-based power source. If iPhone is connected to a computer that's turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the battery may drain.
Verify that the outlet being used is working.
Try another USB power adapter if available.
If no other USB power adapter is available, try connecting to a high-power USB 2.0 port (not a keyboard). The computer must be turned on and not in sleep or standby mode.
Try another USB cable if available.
Also refer to iPhone and iPod touch: Charging the battery.

Iphone 4s does not turn on unless the charger is connected although 100% battery

The iphone will not turn on unless it is connected to the charger. It does have full battery when this happens. Whole phone shuts down and will not respond.

Have you tried the standard troubleshooting methods?
1. Reset
2. Restore
3. Restore as new

I just got my iphone 3 days ago, and it did same problem it did not turn on when i pressed power button. The phone was on but the screen did not turn on (it still vibrate when i turned the silent button and made charging sound when plugged in charger). Today, Im having the same problem. When i got it, it was on 4.02 now its on 4.1. I also tried holding power and home button for over 1min.... nothing worked. What should i do?
If i replace it will i get refurbished one? I just got it only 3 days old. I surely do not want refurbished.

No on the refurbished issue. You purchased a new iPhone, if you return it, it should be new.

I didn't use my iphone4 today for about 12 hours. It will not turn on now. After plugging it in it still won't respond to anything. Just bought it new in July and haven't had any problems with it. The nearest Apple store is three hours away. Any suggestions?

Iphone 3s does not turn off

an update appeared and i clicked install, the screen went blank with only an apple displaying, i can't get the phone to shut off

Sorry for using the wrong descriptive word for the button: it is not (obviously) the circular button on the front, it is the on/off "Sleep" button on top. This particular phone has been in use since September 2012 and it is only now that it begins to cause problems (there are other issues: the phone does not ring except for a few of the contacts, the majority does not sound and calls are only found when you check "Recent calls"). Obsolescence???

HT4528 My iPhone 4s will not turn on!! help!

I left it charging on my computer last night while I got my son ready for bed. It was working fine. I was listening to music on it just before. The battery life was at least 50% at that point, so I know the battery didn't die, but when I came back, it was off. It would not turn on. I have tried EVERYTHING. Holding down the home and lock button, plugged in and not plugged in. I tried to restore the factory settings by homding down the home button and plugging it into the computer and my computer isn't even reading it. I've switched cords because I have 3 of them. NOTHING. I don't live anywhere near an apple store, and VZW will tell me I have to take it to an apple store. Can anyone please help me?? I am totally LOST!! Thanks!!
