My iPhone 4S which is 1 year and 10 months old has developed yellow spot on left side of screen. Otherwise iPhone works perfectly but that yellow spot continuously annoys me. What should I do as my iPhone is out of warranty now??? The yellow spot becomes prominent on playing games... Will it spread further and get even worse or it is harmless??? Can apple india help me to figure out the issue?? Help!!

Contact that carrier's technical support people. It sounds like your issue is with that specific carrier, so only they will be able to help you make a particular device work on their network.
P.S. if you mean you bought a phone from Mobily and are trying to use it with another carrier, you cannot. A mobily phone will be locked to mobily, and according to Apple's list, they do not offer unlocking of their iPhones (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937).

T:inputCalendar year and month only

I'd like to use t:inputCalendar to allow the user only to choose a certain year and month, so not including the day.
I'm not sure if it's possible at all, but I started out using this:
<t:inputCalendar renderAsPopup="true" popupSelectMode="month" popupDateFormat="MM" />
So now the user has a button, but when s/he clicks on it, the full calendar is shown, including the days.
How do I get rid of that?

When you are not really using date, you might as well think of a different solution altogether.
Probably you can have two separate drop-down lists for selecting the month and the year.

You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs.

If you're able to contact the person who set the lock, send them this link and tell them to follow its instructions.
If not, you can't use the device but may be able to get it refunded. Apple won't remove the lock for anyone other than the original owner(assuming they're alive.)

I am having this problem. At first with the new iPhone 5, and then with the iPad 2. I am not sure why this is happening.
My gut feeling is this is an iO6 issue and here's why -
The problem mainly occurs with apps. I have about 150 apps, and when I plugged in the phone, iTunes went to sync all of them. The process would hang up after about 20 - 30 apps were loaded onto the phone. I could tell where about the process hung up because the apps on the phone showed up as "waiting".
Then on the iPad 2 I plugged in to sync and saw there was a huge "Other" component in my storage. It required me to restore the iPad 2 from backup. With this restore the same issues occurred - putting the apps back on the iPad would hang up. The videos on the iPad also got stuck - maybe after about 10 hours of videos transfered iTunes crashed.
My solution has been to soft reset the device, restart Windows, and continue the process until it's complete. This is remarkably inefficient and time-intensive but everything works with patience.
I have been wondering if others have had these same problems.

For curiousity sake...if you use the FIMA_DECIMAL_MONTHS_AND_YEARS Function Module, the output that you'll get is a months and years in fractional amounts. So, how are you going to get the Years and Months from this?
For example, if the from date is 20000101 and the to date is 20090914, the results from this Function Module will be Months = 116.42740 and Years = 9.70228. If you do use this, I'd suggest taking the whole number from passed value for years (9 in this example) and then calculate months by taking the franctional amount of the passed value for years and multiple it by 12 (0.70228 * 12), you end up with 9 Years, 8 Months (8.42736 to be exact, but you're going to want to truncate it to 8 so that when it goes above 8.5, the value doesn't become 9 when it still should be 8).

What I do is in Settings is to change into Plane Mode, thinking that, may be if I do that, somebody that has taking control of it will not be able to download data. Yesterday night, I was awakened by an alarm, whose setting I did not changed. When I looked over, the alarm screen changed to Settings and the Plane Mode changed alone in front of my eyes, from on to off.
I have not observed such a situation during the day. Only when I plug the cable.
I suspected that may be there is no Trojan installed. May be the cable, which is a spare cable, has been modified by a hacker, and it has electronics installed in the connector. But tested with the original cable, and the behavior was the same, as described above.

It could be that both cable are bad. But, anyway, you would not expect any of these manifestations, even with a bad cable. I had bad cable for my 4s, and never saw such a thing!
I contacted by chat the support of Apple. They told me that this behavior could be a software problem and recommended me to do a full recover of my iphone. That meant, putting in at the factory conditions and recup all the data from the backup. I did that, and the behavior did not change. The backup was made with the data of my PC, not icloud. Tomorrow will try with icloud and check if that will work.
