just do a reset, you lose no data.
hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release.

I just upgraded to the latest software for my pages. When I opened an old document it stripped out all the images I had in my tables. How do I get them back
Don't save. Close the documents.
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Pages 5 will damage/alter older files, something Apple didn't tell its users.
Pages 5 is a severely stripped down version with over 90+ features removed.
We recommend trashing/archiving Pages 5 after Exporting any files you may have saved back to Pages '09.
Also rate/review Pages 5 in the App store.

I have one that never wants to disappear despite having the most recent version of the software ( its evernote in case that helps). That is the activation lock. Your iPad will be useless unless you can remove it.

Either you enabled the guest user, or you enabled Find My Mac, which requires there to be an active guest account for a thief to log into, so that they'll connect to the internet and allow you to locate it.

Restart the computer and the iPhone might resolve a backup issue. Also, try resetting the iPhone by holding both the sleep/wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds until the Apple logo reappears. Afterward, attempt to restore again.
Before you restore, consider a few other things... One particular onging thread regarding "other" data has users finding that text messages with photos and/or videos taking up the "other" space. Deleting those text conversations helps regain space. (Before deleting, transfer any photos and videos you want to keep to your camera roll or computer.) In addition, check for any deleted phone voicemail messages and delete those to as well as voice memos.
If you decide to restore, the recommendation is to restore as new phone because the backup probably has the "other" data.

How do you get rid of Check in/out RESIDUE?
On one site, I keep getting the messages about other users
using the site,
please enable check in and out, etc. When I first opened this
site I had
enabled Contribute and Check in and out, but I disabled it
because the
client never needed it.
Now however, I can never seem to get rid of these warnings
even though I
have cleaned up cache, disabled maintain design notes,
re=enabled design
notes, removed Contribute abilities,etc.
How do I stop these warnings???

The only thing checked on is "maintain synchronization info"
and I'm

Oh, sorry....
OK, let's start over....
Hook your iPhone up to the computer and select the device when it appears in iTunes. Go to the Photo tab, and deselect the album then re-sync.
You also can delete each picture in the Album one by one by going into the Photos icon on your iPhone, Select the Albums option, select the Album, and then when the pictures display, select Edit. Then you have to tap on each picture to delete it. Time consuming....easier to sync it with the computer, but a way to get rid of them temporarily. You still have to change your i-device photo profile in iTunes or it will download again in the next sync.

I have run malwarebytes anti-malware - no malware found - I reestablished mozilla as hyperlink - rebooted twice - didn't help, it keeps popping up whenever I try t open a new tab.

(3) Double-click the '''browser.newtab.url''' preference and enter your preferred page:

* ''Blank tab'' => about:blank
* ''Built-in Firefox home page'' => about:home
* ''Any other page'' => full URL to the page
Press Ctrl+t to open a new tab and verify that it worked. Fixed?
Two gotchas:
