How long did you let it charge? It may take 30 minutes before the iPad responds when the battery is completely drained. Let it charge for at least 30 minute using the wall charger. Then rest the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is 100%.
If the iPad still does not start make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

You can't backup the iPod t iTunes then. You will have to use an existing iTunes backup.
If iCloud backup is turned on and the iPod is still working (not disabled), the iPod will automatically backup daily if an internet connection is available and the iPod is connected to a charging source.

In the meantime, you can try this. This how I would procede no matter the app. You can also delete the app, and try to install it again. Also check the reviews for the app in the app store.

Make sure IOS is updated to latest version

Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).

I have a MBP and have used boot camp to make two partitions. I screwed up and reformatted the PC side. I'm trying to use boot camp to get to the pc side now and it says it can't. I have to download some helps for windows. I did that, but it still won'

Then... I tried to reformat using the start up disk and reloaded everything. When I tried to use boot camp I still get the same message. When I check disk utility, I still show two partitions...same as before... I just can't use the pc side. What's up, please?

I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
I am running Yosemitie on a iMac.

My IPod was shut down because my charger broke so my IPod was not turned on for 3-5 days, luckily I had a 1 year warranty and I charge my IPod when I get the charger which was replaced with a new one for free. So when I turn on my IPod, it's almost fully charged, so I try to "Slide to Unlock" It doesn't work. I went on and tried again and again, I just tried to turn on the brightness because we were in a car and it was sunny, what do you know? It doesn't work, then my dad took it and wiped it with a fine cloth, he told me I had greasy hands (because it was hot outside) so it wasn't working. Then he tried and tried. After that I made an appointment with apple genius bar. But if anyone knows whether they replace it or not please let me know because I do have the receipt and a 1 year warranty and I don't want to go in there like a fool expecting a replacement when they won't let me. I know I did nothing to it because I take the best care of it, I do not let anyone touch it, I do not put it near water. I hope that's enough details! Please if you know the answer, answer ASAP,

settigns>itunes and app store to make sure you are signed in.. If you are, you will see your account name..... anyhow, click your account name, sign out and sign back in
also go to to settings>general>reset and reset network settings... if that doesnt work settings>general>reset and reset all settings!

Thanks restoring and restarting didn't fix my problem - i have started it fresh and still it doesn't work. Basically I press ONCE on the remote, after the machine has not had any commands for 10 minutes, and the cursor skips from one end of the menu to the other - so I can't choose network or update software etc - I sometimes manage to stop it randomly in the middle of the menu if I press on a command in the middle of the cursor skipping all the menu steps...not sure what the problem is but I have basically not used my brand new apple tv since I bought it for that reason! I should call Apple support I suppose! grrrr hate wasting time with stuff like this!
