My iPhone is disabled, could I bring it to apple to fix it?
My iPhone is disabled and I am unable to open it. I tried to do recovery mode but my old laptop is broken and I cannot get into the iTunes that I backed up my phone with. I tried to do the find my iPhone to erase the phone but I turned off my iPhone so that it would not be located on the find my iPhone app.
They would probably be able to reset it to factory settings for you. Why don't you call your local Apple Store before going to find out? Probably would save you time to make an appointment if they are able to do that for you.

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode.
If you previously synced to the computer then you may be able to recover use of the iPod without erasing the iPod by following the instructions here:

Follow the steps in this article. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212. If you have done a backup recently, then you can restore from backup. However, your passcode could be stored in your backup and may default back to trying to enter your passcode. If this is the case, you will want to restore your device as new.

Iphone is disabled, try again in 1 minute
Yesterday I updated to 8.1.2. Today I received a phone call, and near the end I could hear buzzing of a notification -- two of them. When I hung up the phone (maybe 5-10 seconds later) it had the message "iphone is disabled, try again in 1 minute" (might not be the exact wording/punctuation) and I couldn't use the phone. It did bring me up with the emergency call keypad, but I didn't use it because I needed to get to my contacts or otherwise look up the number I needed to call at that point. After a short time (probably the 1 minute promised in the message) the entry screen for putting in my passcode appeared, and I was able to make my call.
I also had a dropped call earlier in the day, and that person immediately called me back with no problems (might just be a coincidence.)
The phone seems to be fine, but having it turn itself off is quite unnerving. Does anyone have any idea what happened? Does this sound familiar?Hi cathy fasano,

I realize the notification came up in a very short amount of time after the call you were on ended. In this situation, I would first suggest troubleshooting the touch screen. It may be possible that the touch screen thought it was receiving input for your passcode. Please use the attached article for information on troubleshooting touchscreen.

You have the MacBookPro6,2, the Edsel of Macs. You might be able to resolve the problem by reinstalling OS X. Try that first, if you haven't done so already. Otherwise, you may be covered by this program:

You may be able to stop the panics by disabling automatic graphics switching in the Energy Saver preference pane, but that's not a solution.

What should I do when iPhone says "iPhone Is Disabled"?
I'm using an iphone 4s with a latest update (ios7). I tottaly forgotten the pasccode. I couldn't recall the password even after a day of thinking. My iphone ended up showing " iPhone is disabled" after several times of entering the wrong password. The iOS7 doesn't show the time remaining for the next passcode attempt. It took me approximately 1 minute to retry my next attempt. The second,third,.....time was about 10, 30minutes and so on. I think i've reached the maximum number of attemps. It has been 6 hours now and it still shows "iPhone is disabled". After trying my last attempt ( i guess it's the last attempt), I found a few video tutorials ( ios7 new bug) that show me how to access photo album even without entering the passcode. I saved a picture of my phone's password in my photo album the night after changing it. Are there any ways that could help me to remove "iphone is disabled" so that my phone will be back to normal and I can access my photo album using the new trick that i found on youtube?? I read several sources saying that when i connect my phone to itunes ( computer that I've synced before ), i'll be able to re-enter my password. I just want to remove the "iphone is diabled" icon from my iphone so that it'll show "slide to unlock" and i'll use the trick to access my photo album. If that's not possible, how do I restore my phone without losing all the data.

Well my sister lives in US and she just handed me her old iphone 3gs. If you don't have Find My iPhone on, you can't lock it. You should report it to your carrier and your carrier might blacklist the phone from use. -
