My iPhone stuck on activation AFTER UPADATING AND FORCED RESTORE. and it say my apple id is not working to activate my phone, but i can access my apple id.
My apple id says cannt activate my phone after trying so many times. And i tried to login my icloud account then it say my apple ID is valid but not an icloud account. Its sounds weird for me. How come my apple id is not vaild for an icloud?
Im new in apple products.. So please let me know what should i do.
By the way my phone is not from stollen.. If ever im not able to fix this can apple service do, activate my phone? I only have box of the iphone 4s proof of receipt from a carrier in singapore because it is a plan but alredy finished in contract. Please give me some advixe. Thnx in advance.

Try using these steps to stop Lost Mode from iCloud.com:
Stop Lost Mode or change your contact info
Sign in to icloud.com/#find with your Apple ID (the one you use with iCloud).If you’re using another iCloud app, click the app’s name at the top of the iCloud.com window, then click Find My iPhone.
Click All Devices, then select the device that’s in Lost Mode.
Click Lost Mode, then change the information or click Stop Lost Mode.

After synching, I updated to newer version of iTunes. I do not have contacts on my phone - but I have all the messages and photos there still. How do I find my missing contacts?

My problem, in part, is that I have 2 iphones. I transferred one to another computer that now syncs with iCloud. The other phone I was updating today on my old computer. It was recognised by iTunes, and automatically synched. Then I updated it to a newer version of iTunes, and lost my contacts on that iPhone. I have trawled to Windows Contacts but to no avail. -

Has the phone been officially unlocked by the provider before? Only the provider can unlock the phone, if the phone has been jailbroken to unlock it, restoring will lock it again.

Verizon iPhone stuck at activation after IOS 5 update
I just attempted to update my Verizon iPhone 4 to IOS5 and it is now asking be to activate it. The phone itself says "no service" (despite being in an area that normally has very strong reception) and attempts to activate over wifi fail. This isn't a Verizon problem, as my phone is still listed as activated on their site since I never deactivated it. I have attempted a reset but that left me in the same situation. This problem occured at the restore step of the process.
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? Or at least something else I can try? Any help would be greatly appreciated.You sould take it to a verizon store. It is verizons problem, because Apple has nothing to do with the activation process of your phone. Verizon is currently having issues with activating iPhone and iPads running IOS5 within the device itself. I was told by Verizon they are working to fix the issues they are having, but it could take some time. You are better off going to the local Verizon store and getting the phone reactivated there, but they could probably help you over the phone, just don't bother hitting the button for prepaid Verizon when you call, because they will not be able to activate your phone.

I have a PDF with a diagram, I need to translate the text so I open it in Illustrator. The document opens up vertically oriented I try to put it horizontal to be able to read and change the text However everything I have done is not working The artboard does change, but the diagram stays vertical.....Please help I need to finish that for today..Please help
A PDF usually consists of one to an indefinite number of clipping masks inside each other.
You need to be very carefull with selecting stuff.
So you need to read the manual on how to select stuff and on the basics of Illustrator.
On top of that: because of the complex hierarchy of PDF files, it is kind of difficult to help you without seeing anything. -

Thank you for the information. I did what you said but it is still not working. My apple box works with my wifi so I think the wife was disconnected and I can't figure out where to go to set up the wifi pass word for the apple box. Any hits would be appreciated if not my next step is to ship back the box to apple.

iphone 3gs shows activation required, hooked up to iTunes and it is not recognized. Did the restore but just gets to the end and gives an error message it could not be restored, an unknown error occurred (-1). Can someone assist me in next steps please?
Instructions to get the phone back working temporary.. till there is a real fix.
1. turn off the phone
2. fire up iTunes
3. press and hold the home button, plug in the cable, hold till you get to see the recovery mode
4. iTunes will the allow to choose restore the phone back to 5.0.1 ( no other choice)
5. iTunes will then ask you to choose which previous backup to would like to recover.
(note: please do not reboot your phone unless necessary, i realize at times after reboot, it goes back to sq1) -

Yes, this is activation lock. Return the phone for a refund, as it is useless without the activation information of the previous owner.

Is your iPhone a Factory Unlocked iPhone or Locked to a Service Provider ?
Have you tried Restoring your iPhone by taking your device in Recovery Mode ?
