My Iphone4S started downloading random things after I installed IOS 6. I cant leave it on 3G Cellular Data ON or else it keeps downloading data. I turned off the Itunes Sync on the bottom of the General/Cellular page but it still is downloading things.
How do i determine what apps are still running after shutting down the obvious ones at the bottom of the screen after pressing the home button twice and deleting all the things running? thanks!!Darren

Looks like the reset actually solved the issue. I posted the question soon after having done it, and the signal was still bad, but that was probably due to the place I was in. I've tested it for a whole day, and now signal strength is indeed like it was before upgrading to IOS 6.
I also called Apple support, and they confirmed is a known bug, and a full phone reset solves it.

I suspect you may have a corrupt photo or image that is causing the sync to fail or quit. You might want to try removing all of your photos by deselecting them in iTunes then sync - and try adding them by each sub-folders until you are able to nail down which sub-folder of photos, that causes the sync to stop or gives you errors.

No. It is not free unless the phone was originally purchased less than 90 days ago or you have an active AppleCare agreement.
Where did you get the phone? This is almost always a symptom of a phone that was hacked or jailbroken to unlock it. -

Mary LouYes. Select one still. Open the Rotate, Crop, Ken Burns Tool on the middle Toolbar. Set it to FIT (for letterboxing) or to CROP (for it to fill the screen, but cut off the top and bottom). This will turn off Ken Burns.
Now select the photo you just adjusted and EDIT/COPY (or Command-C).
Now click EDIT/SELECT ALL (or Command-A) to select all photos.
Finally, click EDIT/PASTE ADJUSTMENTS/CROP ADJUSTMENTS to apply to all photos. -

I signed out from my icloud because wanted to change my maill address and password for it cause couldnt connect with my old password and mail acc i dont know why.But then realised that i will loose all my data...

Thank youI have the same problem. Unfortunately, the troubleshooting link you added has the first step listed as "Verify that FaceTime is enabled in FaceTime > Preferences" which we (the original poster and I) can't do as our Preferences are greyed out. We can't click on them to verify anything.
In FaceTime itself it's verified my apple id (also double checked via the site) and then it says the email is "verified" but then it freezes and after a minute or so it says "Could not verify the email address. Please check your network connection and try again."
After checking the network connection, it still doesn't work. It's rather frustrating as it all worked fine until about a week or two ago.
Any help would be appreciated.

I've been using iPhone, iPad and MacBook with my wireless network, and suddenly, none of them will connect. The first sign I had that there ws a problem was when I was asked multiple times to re-enter the password, but regardless of how many times I did so it wasn't successful. I've tried turning off and on the moden and router but that doesn't help. Suggestions please?

Look more like a power or short circuit issue when the fans only spins once. Make sure all power cables are connected.

My safari,4.1.3 on the bottom says cancelled opening page. have cleared the cache,and reset but it still does it on some pages,not all. Any ideas
It's possible that the pages you are attempting to open simply won't work with that old web browser.
If you're using Mac OS X Tiger, update to the latest version, which is 10.4.11. (You might be using that already. Your profile says you're running 10.4.1, but I bet that's just a typo.)
Then get the latest version of Safari that will run on Tiger. (And... you have that already: 4.1.3.)
You might try a more modern browser designed specifically for your current OS. That would be TenFourFox.

Before I downloaded the iOS 7 upgrade I could turn off the apps that were running in the background by double clicking the bottom button to bring up the apps. I would hold down on 1 app, X's would appear on each and then I could close them. How Now?

When you turn on the ipad2 it does not start up properly. The rotating disk that happens when you turn off the ipad appears after the apple logo comes up during start-up and stays there for ten minutes. Then, the ipad will start up properly.
Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
