My ipod was stolen and things were bought off of my account and i want the money back
I had lost my ipod about a month ago and i had got home today and seen that my account had been used to by 34.78$ worth of things off of my account from my ipod. So naturally i got angry and wanted answers but apple has so many useless numbers that all i got sent to was machine after machine and i just wanted to talk to a human being. is there anyway i can get my money back because if i cant im leaving apple for good and i wont recommend it for anybody because this is rediculous.

If your iPod was the last device that you connected to and synced with your iTunes library, there is a chance you might be able to get the serial # to show up in the Device Connectivity diagnostic report. See here for instructions on running this test.

It also requires the device be on and connected to registered WiFi network, and not having been restored by the finder (if it was really stolen then the thief has probably restored it). Frankly in the case of a stolen iPod this almost never works. Report it to the police. Change passwords on accounts. Go shopping for a new iPod. -
In April 3o,2012 and May 9,2012 some purchases of $38.75 and $24.51 were made and they were not made by me because i never spend that much. The most immediate thing you need to do is to call your credit card company and report the unauthorized charges. Your card company can contact Apple if they need additional information.
Next, log into your iTunes Store account and see if the purchases are reflected in the Purchase History. If they are, immediately change the password to your iTunes Store account, making sure it's not something easily guessed or looked up. Then go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. Whether or not they'll do anything for you I don't know, particularly if you didn't change the password after your iPod was stolen.
If the charges are not reflected in the Purchase History, then it's most likely a fraudulent charge to your credit card directly rather than an unauthorized purchase through your iTunes Store account in which case it will be up to your bank to handle.

If you registered it, Apple can help you. Give them a call.
Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. Something as small as an iPod should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries. -

No. The only way is if the FindMyiPod feature was already set up and wifi is on. However, that can be defeted by turning the iPod off or restoring it. If they have access to the iPod then can just turn the feature off.
If the iPod off/battery drained how would you expect there t be a way of finding it?
