My mac OS X has a built in camera and it says i need to attach a camcorder.
I have been trying to use photo booth and movie maker and it says that my camcorder is not attached. My computer has a camera built in to it so i don't know what to do. What really confuses me is that it has worked before. And i have used both photo booth and movie maker before. Does anyone know how i could fix this issue

Trying to connect a blackberry playbook to the Mac. It says I need OS6. Is that a free update or do I have to buy a whole new operating system? Just want to download some music to the playbook. The Snow Leopard 10.6 DVD should still be available from Apple for $20. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775 to purchase it. It may still be in the Legacy Products list. The App Store which is required to download 10.7 or 10.8 is part of the 10.6.6 update.
If they no longer have any in stock you will have to buy it from eBay or Apple resellers that still have stock. But you will have to pay a premium since the DVDs are no longer being made. Snow Leopard DVDs are already up to $100 on Amazon.

No Audio on built in camera and microphone
please help iMove has no audio every time i try to use the built in camera and microphone to record straight in.... there is NO AUDIO !!

(0) Unless you are trying to use an old external (Firewire) iSight, there is no need to post in the iSight forum. Unlike external iSights, MacBook Pro built-in cameras don't have integrated mics. MBP's mic is a separate device from its inbuilt camera.

Got a new mac today, I created my iCloud account (and therfore my Apple ID?) I tried to set up my iTunes and download updates, and it says i need to review my account, then I had to edit my Apple ID details, but said my email address was invalid???
From the information that you have provided, it sounds like your Apple ID has been disabled. You can read this to see how you can troubleshoot that issue.

You can try signing out of your ID on the iPad and sign in with his ID and see if that works.
Settings>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Then sign in with your husband's newly created ID. -

Why on Earth did you install MacKeeper??? Get rid of it and do NOT use zeobit's uninstaller. It will make things worse.

MY iPad has suddenly lost my camera and FaceTime apps. Yes I've tried to modify in the restrictions however it is asking for a passcode that I never set up. I am running OSX 10.6.8 Snow lepard I am trying to install windows on my intel imac 20in late 2006 via bootcamp, and it says I need to download Windows Support Software. I tried, but it says "Download can not continue. The Windows Support Software is not available. I bought the Imac secend hand and did not get the install dvd's with it What can I do?
You don't need to download the Windows support software, because in Snow Leopard, they are only available as a download for the Late 2010 MacBook Air.
Instead, you have to buy Mac OS X Snow Leopard. The Snow Leopard disc contains the Windows drivers for your Mac, so you have to install them after finishing the Windows installation -

YOur phone is in recovery mode, any data that was on there is already gone, you will have to restore your phone and use whatever backup you to restore to.

Just to make certain, you inserted the original installation disk and started the MBP holding down the C key? Did the Optical drive reject the disk or did it just spin? If the former, the lens in the drive may be dirty and needs to be cleaned. If the latter, you will have to take it to an Apple repair facility.
