My mac was updated a while ago from snow leopard to OS X and I want to move a project from IMovie over to IDVD to burn it. Can this not be done any longer?

I'm trying to move a movie I created in I Movie over to I DVD to burn it and all the tutorials say I should be able to, but my mac with OS X does not give me that option. Is there a work around or do I have to trash the whole project and start over in I DVD?

First of all, you will only need Snow Leopard on the second computer if you plan to use older applications. The age and creators of the data on the older drive are not the issue. For example if you have MS Word documents created by a previous version of MSW, they will open fine in a new Mavericks compatible version of MSW. So the issue you have to deal with is making sure you have the necessary newer applications. This site shows what apps are compatible with the newer Mac OS: http://roaringapps.com/apps?index=a
Beyond that there are no issues. The answer to each of your three questions is Yes.
