My mail was accidently deleted from my Apps. folder. Is there anyway to get it back if I emptied my trash already. I'm currently using MacKeeper to undelete all deleted items. Inly 150 hours to go. LOL
I don't know who responded but, the answer is the Mail App is no longer in my Apps folder.
I got MacKeeper because my Mac was slow and doing weird things. I found as long as I didn't a quick cleanup and removed duplicate files, eliminated foreign languages that were taking up space everything started working well,again.
I'm currently in the process of undeleting everything hoping that will bring things back. Unfortunately, I don't know if it will since I emptied my Trash. I have 150 hours to go on the undelete process.
Personally I would not trust MacKeeper to be able to undelete anything.
I would alo highly recommend that you uninstall MacKeeper.
From the sounds you message what it sounds like your problem was originally was insuffient disk space. Instead of MacKeeper what you should have gotten for yourself was an external drive.

iPhone help anyone?? I just got my replacement iPhone and tried to sync it with my old iPhone 4 profile. It said it couldn't because it was an old operating system so I would have to set it up as a new iPhone first. Firmware not compatible is often an indication that your iTunes isn't up to date. Update it to the latest version (10.6.3), then try updating your phone again. You can check to see if the backup of your old phone is still there by going to iTunes preferences and looking at the backups list on the Devices tab. If it isn't there then you can't get your old data back (unless you had backed up your old backup). If it is, then once your new phone is up to date right-click on the name of your phone on the left sidebar of iTunes and select Restore from Backup, choosing the backup of your old phone to restore to.
When you set up your new phone, sign into your existing iCloud account and go to Settings>iCloud and turn on syncing for contacts, calendars and your other iCloud backup and your iCloud data should be restored to your phone. -
My computer is a macbook pro 10.5.8 and my iphoto randomly deleted from my computer. Any ideas how to get it back on?
Reinstall it from the computer's original disks or an iLife 09 or earlier install DVD, and then run all applicable iPhoto updaters.

On my Ipad 2, I deleted my photos from camera roll, photo stream and imported photos.
I did not know that my photos were also being deleted from my albums.
Is there anyway I can retrieve these photos from back up or from Icloud ? PierreIf you have a current iCloud or iTunes backup you can restore to that.

Once they're deleted, you can't get them back. You're supposed to save them before this happens. To do this, save them to your camera roll (by tapping Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll), then import them to your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
If the missing photo stream photos were in your camera roll when you last backed up, then would be included in the backup. Restoring the backup should recover them. -
So my iphone 5 had water damage, I sent my phone for repair backed up all my photos onto my lap top. Somehow my laptop got cleared of my photos and when my I phone was returned to me it had been cleared of all data as I was told. I was wondering if anyone new a way of getting these back through icloud or backup? They are all my baby photos of my daughter and I would be so happy if I could get them back! any help much apreciated.

Photos in photo stream...
You can log into your iCloud account on another computer or device and enable photo stream to see your photos. You should do this as soon as possible because photo stream in the cloud only keeps photos for 30 days and each day you delay, you will lose another days photos.
Photos in the camera roll...
If you kept a back up of your device you can use it to restore to a replacement device, this will restore all of the photos in your camera roll and isn't time limited. -
While I was updating my ipod touch there was an error and it said I needed to restore my ipod. I restored it from backup but I seem to have lost all my pictures that I had stored on there. Is there any way to get them back?

I worked on the project for a few days, however I did not exit it out. I tried to "Share" the movie into a file/ to itunes but nothing happened. I restarted imovie to see if it would help. Before I quit it said "Tasks that are currently in progress will not be completed." I exited anyway. When I opened up I movie my project was gone. I worked my butt off on this project and spent hours on end editing it. Is there anyway i can get it back? P.S the file is gone from my computer completly as far as I can tell.
If it helps, I do have a file from trying to export it, however it didn't finish exporting properly, and therefore won't open. I've attached the file below. If anyone has any idea of how to open the file, or restore my iMovie project, it would be of great help. Thank you.

I am a student away from home. Is there any way around going home with the replacement iphone to get my backed-up stuff? Or is all stored on that PC's hard drive? If so, can it be downloaded onto a disc and posted to me do you think? I don't rreally understand how it all works :-/

I had 5000 songs on My Ipod classic. I was trying to down load them to a friend of mine`s library.In the process his songs (500),were downloaded on my Ipod and I lost my songs. when I went back to my library to sync up my Ipod to my songs I got a: "the device is not recognized" error? I got a different download source and when I try and sync up my library to my Ipod it recognizes the songs on the Ipod not in the library. Once the Ipod is disconnected then it recognizes the library. I was told that my songs are still on my Ipod if so great, that should make it easier. If not hoew do I redowm the somgs in my library to the Ipod. Someone please help me. Thank you

Well, it's impossible to delete Apple's Contact app. Swipe the home screen to the right and type in a search bar for 'CONTACTS' and it should find the app. She may have put it into a folder or it's on page 9/screen. It's there, you may need to do a little searching and that may take time on your part.

Is there anyway to get photos back after downloading them from digital camera to iphoto?
Ok I am in panic mode because I just got home from vacation from Disney world and imported all of my photos into iPhoto like I normally do. Once it was completed I look at the photos and check them all out and accept the delete all photos on memory card option. Well I went to bed and my computer was on all night. When I came back this morning to put the photos into an album, there was an error message and I needed to reboot iphoto upon logging in. WHen I did all my photos that I just imported are gone. However, under my split events there are gray boxes showing where my photos were. Has anyone seen this happen and if so how to I refresh my iphoto or manage it after it crashes?

I restored my new phone from an earlier date than my niece's baptism. I don't know if I should have restored or set up as a new phone. But my problem now is that I really want those pictures. I had icloud on that phone and the new one. Can anyone help me or tell me if I can get those pictures back. When I log into my itunes account on my computer it still shows the other phone as a device but I only see where you can remove that device. Thank you need to take a class on all this new technology.
Like a digital camera, you should be syncing your photos from iphone to a computer often. If you have been doing that, you should find the photos on the computer.
If you had been backing up you iphone to icloud, then you could restore the backup, but many users have complained here that they lost all their photos when doing a restore, none seem to have been in the backup. Since your new phone is new, then try doing a restore (you should have done that when you first set up the new phone - if you did and the photos did not come back, then they are lost).

Yeah, I just got the iphone on friday so I'm going to be one of those people..
I was holding the phone while I was helping my sister get the dogs settled in the car and I must have been pressing onto the camera icon and I didn't even realise it until I looked down after a few minutes and the icon was gone. I was just hoping someone could help me out with that. Please and thank you.
KellieGo to settings, general - restrictions - camera....make sure it is turned on. I did the same thing with my camera icon and this step fixed it.
