My nano no longer lists podcasts that are on it

several weeks ago, I deleted a podcast episode of Wait,Wait..., which for some reason appeared twice. Since then, although iTunes shows that it has dowloaded more episodes, wait, wait does not show up in my podcast menu, so I cannot play it. I have tried resubscribing, but that has not helped

i did that too so i did the restart thing to it ok so you flick the hold butten 2 times back and
forword then click menu butten and the center butten at the same time now its in sleep mode now trun it on you maybe see the apple logo but if you dont send it to apple hope this helped you

You are right, a lot of older dead podcasts do not belong in the podcasts section. But there is still a lot of these podcasts that have good information and deserve to still be listed. For example there is quite a few photography lesson based podcasts in which you can get good information from different sources.

ITunes still lists books that are no longer in library or device

Hi everyone,
Been searching around the internet and on this forum for a solution but have no luck so far. Hopefully I can get some better results by posting this.
Summary of the problem:
My iTunes still shows some old PDFs that are no longer existing in the library. These missing books are listed in the Books section of my iPad (when its connected to the iTunes library). When I connect my iPad to iTunes 12, I can see 2 sections on the left-hand panel - one with the heading "Settings" and another section with the heading "On My Device". Both these sections have a "Books" sub-section under them.The missing books are listed in the "Books" sub-section under the "Settings" section- where I can select the books to sync to the iPad. See picture below:
These are PDFs and books that I used to have but when I moved my library at some point in time earlier, they were not moved together. But they are still listed here and I can't find a way to remove them.
I look forward to any help I can get on this issue.

Use File > Add folder to library... and select your iTunes Media folder. Anthing already in the library will be ignored, anything else will be added. Once the process is complete sort the library on the Date Added column and remove the tracks that have just been added, sending them to the recycle bin.

How to list files that are NOT in a .jar file?

Is it possible to list files (resources, .gif/.jpg files, etc.) that are NOT included in the jar but are still to be considered part of the application somewhere in the jnlp-file?
My applications requires lots of icons which I have put into .gif files. So far I kept them in individual files next to the .jar file and that worked fine.
JWS now seems to support only stuff that is included in (a) .jar-file(s). That in itself woul not be much of a problem, however, when I include my .gif files into the .jar files they seem to get corrupted by the jar-signing process (at least that what's the code says, which can suddenly not handle these images any more).

My previous seem to have been non-sense. The .gif file were not corrupted, but rather they were not found at all. They actually must NOT be included in the .jar file, or else they are not found. Strange enough, the .properties-file seemingly HAS to be in the .jar file to be found.
This is something I'll probably never fully understand with java: which file-types it searches where...

Did you look under the "Collections" tab? ePrint jobs are stored for 30 days there.

After downloading the latest upgrade of Adobe, I can no longer open files that are PDF's. Why do I keep getting error 0.104?

Since October 23rd, after downloading the recent upgrade for Adobe Reader, I continually keep getting error code 0.104 whenever I try to open a file that is in PDF format. No matter if I'm using Internet Explorer or Chrome. Huge waste of time! I have restored the Adobe to previous upgrade of September 2014, which was working fine. I have restarted the computer several times since I restored to prior version with no luck at all.

This is the message i keep getting when I try and open my PDF files that are on my desktop. I run a Macbook Pro. I checked for updates on system and adobe all say unto date?

Please keep in mind that DBA_FREE_SPACE reports the free extents in all the tablespaces.
If a tablespace is at 100% utilization, then it has no free extents. It won't show on the DBA_FREE_SPACE view, it will be showing until it has at least 1 free extent available for the growing of segments.

That will show your tablespace as full, note that if your undo and temp are non autoextensible it will show as always 100%, that is normal, you should be checking your temp and undo usage another way.

How do I edit long (3hrs.) podcast that are saved in mp4 format?

I have several 3 hour podcasts in mp4 format. I'd like to edit the length and save portions of the podcasts as mp3 files. I tried burning the mp4 file to an audio CD, but due to it's length (3 hrs.), it will not fit on a blank CD-R. I downloaded Audacity. Can this do the trick? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Glad that you finally sorted out what you were doing and discovered DV AVI.
In your particular situation Prism would serve your purposes of generating the DV AVI 4:3 since your footage is 640 x 480. However, for others with different footage, the free Prism shortcoming is that it cannot offer DV AVI widescreen 16:9; whereas MPEG Streamclip can do the job for 16:9 as well as 4:3.
QuickTime Alternative 1.8.1 that does come with the MPEG Streamclip's required MPEG2 Playback Component (free) also meets the Premiere Elements requirement for QuickTime installed on computer with Premiere Elements to work. This works in spite of the fact that QuickTime Alternative 1.8.1 is not the latest version of the regular QuickTIme.

SCCM Query to list machines that are not compliant to a specific Update List?

I have been trying to create a Collection-based Query that collects all machines which are not compliant with a specific Update List. I have looked everywhere for some information about an Attribute that relates to Update List without any luck....
Im thinking one of the Attributes under Software Updates class must be the answer. Since i can draw a report that shows AuthListID with a value of ScopeId_xXxxx/AuthList_xxxxx, there must be a related attribute somewhere to add in a collection-based
query. Has anyone successfully done this? Any related information would be very much appreciated.

Pse9 recently reinstalled. Tags are now in one long list. How are they put back in separate lists?

This is a windows 7 computer that was recently repaired Any help will be appreciated. There are about 25000 pictures and lots of different tags.

Toshiba tech services wanted everything taken off the computer, put it back to as new. I did a back up on my Click Free external h ard drive ( one tb) and shipped the computer to toshiba.. When it was returned to me it still didn't go on line, wouldn't connect.. My daughter stopped by, got the computer model number, Googled it, found the solution to the problem and fixed it. I then restored the backed up files after reinstalling pse9, The pictures are all there, with tags, the tag column had all the headings : people, places, events,but those lists were empty, There was one other heading; imported tags I clicked on that and a list came up that included the contents of everything in alphabetical order. I now need to separate the tags and put them back into their proper lists..
Is this scary or what?

My mum is upgrading her mobile phone but wants to ensure she only upgrades to a handset that is compatible with isync, does anyone know of a website or something that lists phones that are compatible? She currently has a Nokia 6233 and it can't isync. Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

Apple's own list is rather limited - but there are literally hundreds of additional phones supported iwth the help of a Plugin.

I need to remove a podcast that I do not have "rights" too...

I am the Associate Producer of Dawson McAllister Live, a nationally syndicated radio show that airs in over 140 markets across North America. We have recently updated our RSS feed, our website, our FTP and even our storage location and want to submit a brand new, updated podcast to iTunes. I have submitted a podcast on three different occasions and all three have either been rejected by iTunes (per their e-mail) or no response has been given at all. Furthermore, the Dawson McAllister Live! podcasts that are up on iTunes now haven't been updated in five years. All of the information for those has been lost and, along with it, the login info and account info to not only the iTunes account it was set up with but also the RSS feed (which is no longer active anyway).
I have tried clicked "remove podcast" on each of the DMLive podcast pages, explaining to them who I was and what my job title was here, but all I got in return was an e-mail that said "have the administrator contact us." As I explained above, there is no admin on this account anymore and whoever was the admin has long since moved on.
This is a pressing matter and I've been going back and fourth with the iTunes people in India via e-mail for over a month now. I just want to remove the old podcast so we can submit the new one. End of the story. Can ANYONE please tell me how to get this done? Thank you!

For understandable reasons, just because there is "no admin on this account anymore" does not mean they will take instructions from someone else.
Make clear to Customer Service that you are now the officially responsible party on that account now.
