Navigate to Adobe website and reinstall CC again. Refer the knowledge base article giving installation instructions: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.
If after installation by any chance you get activation error please follow the steps mentioned in the knowledge base article: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/error-maxium-acitvation-exceeded.html.

This problem has never happened before and switching my browser on and off again does not solve the issue.

OK, I can tell I'm annoying you, for that I apologize. I am not a pro at this. I purchase LR 3 yrs ago and used it up until my computer crashed. It was the one I told you about. Without a backup of your "crashed" HD you will have to download your iTunes purchases again. Make sure your restored computer is running the latest version of iTunes.
Here is the procedure for your reference.
On your restored computer, launch iTunes. Click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
"Sign in" using the Apple ID used to purchase your songs, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button.
When you want to play your newly downloaded music, you will have to "authorize" it. Don't worry about the lost HD until enough of your computers crash that you reach the limit of 5. Then you can "deauthorize all" and re-authorize as necessary.

If you created Recovery Media you should boot from them to reinstall Win 8. If you didn't make a Recovery try the process here titled "Recovery when Windows 8 does not open correctly"

ctrl B makes the top bar (File. Edit. View. Controls. Store. Help.) appear and disappear.
ctrl S makes a side bar appear on the left side of iTunes. It shows the library which has Music. Movies. TV Shows. Apps. Playlists. Ect.
When I did the steps you suggested, my iPhone did not show up in that list.
I checked my firewall settings again, and they seem to be okay. My firewall is the only thing that I am not 100% sure of. If I go to Control Pannel>System and Security>Windows Firewall>Allow an app through Windows Firewall. It shows that iTunes is allowed. I'm not sure if something else might need to be allowed as well though. I have a few Remote options that are not allowed such as, Remote Event Log Management, Remote Scheduled Tasks Management, Remote Shutdown, Remote Volume Management, and Routing and Remote Access. I'm not sure if any of these need to be allowed or not, or if they are even affiliated with iTunes.

Your content will only be where you put it. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone: File>Device>Transfer purchases.
You can import your pics taken with the iphone as you would with any digital camera.
You can e-mail the other pics to yourself, they will never be of the original quality.
You can out a unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. You should get the option to merge the data when you sync.

okay I've finally been able to get tor and all the other programs to work according to my plan the only thing that's still making problems is that iptables doesn't work as I want it to, when I start chromium without proxy settings privoxy doesn't seem to forward the information to polipo.. do I need to add another rule to iptables.rules in order for the program to know it has to reroute the information again or how can I get this to work? and is there any way to run rtorrent with proxy support?
anyway, problem 2 and 3 are still to be solved.
